Sit back and relax on this one-way tour from Mount Cook to Christchurch. Travel down the western side of Lake Pukaki and see the breathtaking views of this alpine region of New Zealand's South Island.
Take a scenic half-day tour from spectacular Mount Cook to Christchurch. Depart from Mount Cook village in the afternoon, and travel down the western side of Lake Pukaki at the foot of New Zealand's tallest mountain Mount Cook. Continue onto Lake Tekapo and admire the views of this alpine region (mountains and glacier lakes) as you head towards the stunning, glacial-fed Lake Tekapo. Visit the famous Church of the Good Shepherd standing in picturesque solitude on the foreshores.
Then continue across the historic Burkes Pass and onto the small farming township of Geraldine for an afternoon tea break (at own expense). Leaving Geraldine and its rolling green valleys, travel through the rich pastoral farmland of the Canterbury Plains before arriving in 'The Garden City', Christchurch, this evening, where you will be transferred to your hotel.
Not really a tour but courtesy drop off to our hotel.

Satisfied and good driver.

Not exactly a tour. More of a transfer service only. Were only given a short 15mins at Lake Tekapo. Check-in 10mins late and driver gave a scolding. We really didnt meant to be late. And well, it was still 5mins before departure time!

Hassel free travel.. we liked it

The scenery was stunning, but made all the more so, by the comfort and height of vision from the coach, and the amusing anecdotes, interesting commentary, and singing yes singing of the coach driver. The best way to do the journey with plenty of opportunity to take photos, stretch legs at the best possible places en route, and even a drop off at my hotel door in Christchurch.
