Our Tour Specialist will meet you at your hotel lobby in Mumbai. Your tour will begin by visiting Gateway of India, Mumbai's most famous monument, this is the starting point for most tourists who want to explore the city. Just around the corner is the iconic The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, the hotel's original building was commissioned by Jamshedji Tata and first opened its doors to guests on 16 December 1903.
We visit Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus train station (UNESCO world heritage site). Then head to Crawford Market which is more than a century old, here you will get to see and buy many Indian spices.
We will also be seeing open air laundry “Dhobi Ghat”, and then move on to see Mahatma Gandhi's residence in Mumbai “Mani Bhavan”. On our way you will see the Haji Ali Dargah, it is a mosque located on an islet off the coast of Mumbai.
We will be visiting Jain temple, Banganga tank and also Kamala nehru park at Malabar Hill which is the best point in the city to view the sky line of Mumbai. i can highly recommend this guide and company. We had a wonderful tour of Mumbai and visited the key spots. Our guide was able to give us some background on each specific place we saw. His english was great as he also works for a US company doing phone work. I would strongly recommend doing something like this if you are trying to see Mumbai quickly.

We were picked up from our hotel over half an hour late, we we offer a bottle of water for our refreshments and no snacks._br/_ Ganesh our guide was excellent and past on his knowledge of Mumbai freely and the tour was great showing us an insight in Mumbai history and lifestyle a very enjoyable 6 hour.

My son and I had a great time during this tour. Danesh our tour guide was very accomodative. He is very informative and we are happy that our questions are all being answered. Danesh was kind enough to take us to some other places that were not in the itinerary like the Rajabai clock Tower at Mumbai University, Oval Maiden, Jainism Temple Babu Amichand etc. On our way back to the hotel in ITC Maratha, the driver was also very kind to stop at a few places for us to take pictures such as at Haji Ali Dargah and Marine Dr to get a good view at Queen Necklace drive ways. It was a good 6/7 hours tour and would definately recommend to others.

Great tour and the guide and driver went beyond the four hours as promised. We had a 5-hour tour and included many interesting sights. We were especially pleased with the tour of the Gandhi home and the large outdoor laundry facility. Visiting the market was also interesting.

Overall great experience. Akhit was informative, entertaining and accommodating. Experiencing the train was a nice touch. Banganga Tank was awesome and talking to the spice merchant at the Crawford market was a lot of fun.

Our guide, Ganesh, was a lucky find! The tour was phenomenal and worth every rupee. It really helped us get a feeling for the city of Mumbai, not just the major tourist attractions, though we saw them, but the slums to Malabar Hill and everything in between. He strived to make it feel like you were travelling with family, and he really pulled it off. It was an entertaining, informative tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and funny. _br/_ He also recommended us great places to eat and enjoy mumbai night life.

Excellent tour and highly recommended,our tour guide Ganesh was exceptional and his knowledge and English was superb.We started at the Kanneri caves which were amazing and the view of Mumbai from the top was breathtaking. We also throughout the day went to the massive open air laundry,a Temple,Ghandhi house,Crawford Market,Victoria railway station and The Gateway to India.As stated this was a real eyeopener to us and would strongly recommend this tour for those with limited time to explore the city by themselves.

Mumbai was our last stop in India, and this tour was the perfect way for us to experience the city in the short 3 days we spent there. Our tour guide Ganesh was great, very informative and adaptable to how long we wanted to spend in each area. His knowledge on the city's history and eagerness to share it with us really made him a fantastic tour guide. We hit everything mentioned in the 'tour description' with ease and enough time to really take it all in. Our driver was also great, the van was comfortable and the 6 hours went by really quickly. I highly recommend this Highlights tour, and I'd assume that any other tour through Amaze Mumbai Tours would be equally as good. Thanks!

Excellent introduction to this fascinating and exciting city. Must add the street food to the tour for a great all round trip experience. We arrived very early morning that same day and this proved to be an easy and valuable way to spend precious time in an all too short visit but without pushing it too far.

Our tour guide, Siddhi and driver, Arjun, promptly met my husband and I at our hotel at the promised time. This being our first time in Mumbai and only being on town for 2 days, we wanted to find out as much as we could in short period of time. Siddhi delivered on this as well. We saw the highlights of Mumbai: Gateway of India, the Taj Hotel, Malabar Hill, Haji Ali Dargah Mosque and everything else listed for this tour! As well, Siddhi showed how proud he is of his city, giving a historical perspective as well as present day view. Arju's city driving skills are superb. He kept us going, albeit slowly at times, with patience and caution! I recommend this tour for those travellers with limited time to spend in Mumbai but want to see the highlights.

The tour was okay. It definitely was a driving tour -- we did not get a chance to get out and walk around much which was disappointing. However, we did see almost all of the main sites in Mumbai. Our guide was knowledgable and brought us to an amazing restaurant for lunch. I would recommend the tour to others getting acquainted with the city but be prepared to speak up if there's a place you would like to stop at to visit, otherwise you will drive right by!

We booked the private tour, with the Caneri Caves as an optional extra and it was absolutely brilliant. Our guide Siddhi was well spoken in English and very presentable. The company went the extra mile for us and we had a bigger car for the day. The driver Jay was also very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this tour and specifically these two individuals Siddhi and Jay. They made us feel very welcome and we had lots of fun and laughter. The caves and tour of the temples were awesome. It really gave us a good view of the city, the markets and complete orientation. Do the tour on your first day as you then have the rest of the time to explore the other areas and bargain hunting you will want to do. - Eben

Used Viator again to organise a sightseeing trip for us and what can I say. They excelled themselves again. The local tour companys they use are tried and tested and you are sure to get the best guides and drivers. They may be a little more expensive than booking locally but you will know what you are getting and it will be well worth if. Highly recommend using this company.

my recent tour was exceptionally good with Mr Ganesh as our tour guide and Mr Alam as our driver for the day. Both were friendly. The Mumbai sightseeing was fascinating though it is summer now. Met Mr Lawson, the owner of the tour company as well during our tour stop at Mani Bhavan - Ghandhiji Museum. He is friendly and asked us if the tour is going well - responsible . In summary, i would strongly recommend anyone to engage them as your tour guide in Mumbai! Well done !

If you only have a short time in Mumbi this is the tour for you. We were collected promptly by Lawson our guide in the air conditioned car for the tour as there was 4 of us we had a 7 seater which was great and bottled water was provided. Lawson was fantastic, we had read previous reviews which mentioned him and was not sure if it was true and it was! He asked us if there was specific things we wanted to see which were not on the tour so he could try to incorporate it if possible. Our driver was great and available to collect us when needed. We visited the locations indicated on the tour and more. We went for snacks to a local cafe run by women where he explained the snacks and we all tried them - yummy! Lawson took us on a short train trip which was the only thing we had missed on our trip so this completed our adventure. He fitted in a trip to the market and to visit the fish market and see the fishing fleet. Our trip lasted longer than indicated and I cannot recommend Lawson enough he was fantastic even pointing out places to eat near our hotel. I wish him success.

This was a great tour by Lawton. In a 6 hour period we covered over ten sites that provided a different perspective of the city. He was informative and was very flexible on items I had interest in and made it work. The routes taken optimized our time without ever feeling rushed. I have been to Mumbai multiple times for work and saw more in those 6 hrs than all the other trips combined. I would highly recommend this tour.

If you have only a day in Mumbai, take this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and showed me a lot, we look a local train to CST station. Saw all the sights, lunch was tasty and we went at my pace. The driver was very safe and what a fantastic city of contradictions. I did the tour on a Sunday and it was a great day from an airport hotel.

It was a fantastic day tour with Lawson. My wife felt very poorly by the start of the tour nothing to do with the tour and Lawson was very accommodating and considerate. His english is second to none, he is very informative and attentive but not overbearing. He got an excellent driver with him who was always in the right place at the right time what is pretty amazing in Mumbai. We tried local delicacies from the ladies' s society cafe. The food wasn't only delicious but the income goes towards the education of woman also, so it was a nice touch. We didn't fell rushed, quite the contrary, Lawson made sure we spend enough time everywhere. Couldn't recommend him more

We were happy to see all the main spots in Mumbai, however, the guide wasn't very knowledgeable nor did he share any information about the monuments. Most of the time, I was the one doing the asking and he didn't seem very enthusiastic, more like well it's another tour and I'm going to show them here and there but he wasn't really present. Also, he and the driver were always watching their watch, as if they were limited by time, but it was a full day tour. We cut it short to visit other places on our own. Overall for having a private driver, seeing the city, I'm satisfied but it would have been better to learn a little more history about this city and the monuments.

Single day tour of Mumbai was exceptional. Dinesh our guide and the driver were just superb and very knowledgeable. We were met on time outside the port gates. They took us where we wanted to go and visited other sites we would not have thought to visit. In addition one of our party wanted to visit his old school in Mumbai, Dinesh was aware of the location and promptly took us there. Very emotional for the individual involved. Given the rating in Tripadvisor I decided to take this tour but it was not exactly great. First of all, it says approx 6 hours and we barely had 4 and a half. We decided to skip the gate of India because we had already seen it and we would expect to cover something else instead as this tour claims to be customized but we didn't. The tour guide was on his phone most of the time, if not talking in Hindi, he was texting. He left us alone several times, while he was waiting in the car. That happened when he took us to the hanging garden, to the cricket field and to the museum. While I was watching that other tourists had their guides with them all the time to explain everything as it should be, we also had to skip the snacks part because the restaurant he took us was closed on Sundays, being a tour guide and he didn't know that place was close after talking so much about it ? On the positive side, his English is good. At the end, I felt like if I had hired a cab to go all those places by ourselves would have been the same. I don't really like to give bad reviews but I think this would help other travelers like me to avoid being disappointed.

My wife and I booked a sightseeing tour through Viator and had Mr. Lawson as guide. Lawson was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the local sights and areas in Mumbai. We visit many different places and feel that we have seen the most important and special places in Mumbai. We tried local delicacies from the ladies' s society cafe. The food wasn't only delicious but the income goes towards the education of woman also, so it was a nice touch. Great tour with Lawson! I had a free day in Mumbai so I took a tour. Lawson was a great tour guide. We hit all of the major sites in Mumbai while Lawson provided the exceptional commentary on the site. Part of the tour is a private car for the day. We had time to get a traditional Indian sandwich with Chai Tea. We even jumped on an Indian commuter train which was an fun experience. Overall, a great day from a great tour guide and company. You can't go wrong with booking Lawson.

Ganesh, our city tour guide, was superb. He was knowledgeable and showed us lots of interesting places in the city. He spiced up the tour with his personal stories and witty jokes. Thank you to our superb tour guide Ganesh and his skilled driver for taking us on a comfortable, very enjoyable and thought-provoking tour of Mumbai on Monday! Ganesh gave us a good insight into life today in the city as well as some of the history, We particularly enjoyed the sights and smells of the flower, fruit and spice markets, as well as the peace and tranquillity of Mani Bhavan and the hanging gardens, with beautiful flowers and butterflies. It was also interesting to visit the old colonial parts of the city and to see the contrasts between rich and poor. There was just the right amount of variety in this tour, with a mixture of old and new, helping us to understand a bit about what it is like to live and work in this city. The train ride was great, along with the delicious street food!_br/_ I would highly recommend this tour and particularly our guide, who took us to places that we wouldn't have ventured to as tourists on our own - thank you Ganesh for an excellent quality, well priced tour with prompt and friendly pick up service from our hotel!
