Very good tour. Hopped on a bus which took us through the residential areas leading to Dachau. Once inside, our guide took us from place to place explaining what happened in each area. The stories were taken from first hand accounts of people who were there at the time. After a couple of hours we were given time to explore the remainder of the camp on our own. Very informative and our guide did an excellent job.

The Dachau Camp site is easily reachable via public transportation. We opted for the tour because we have had very good luck with guides enhancing our understanding. However, while our guide was very knowledgable, he talked for almost 2.5 hours straight. In my opinion, this site--and others like it--should be introduced and key points highlighted by the guide but individuals need time to reflect on what they are seeing and what occurred. If you want a guide who will talk through your experience, this is a great tour. If you want time to actually visit the museum and other parts of the memorial, and contemplate the site on a personal level, save your money, take public transport and skip this tour.

This is a late review, but better late than never... I was in Munich April Easter time of 2017. I had been to Munich before but missed Dachau so it was a must on this trip. No matter what anyone says, tt's a very sobering experience so if you go to Munich, do not miss Dachau. It's just outside of town and you meet as a group at the train station first to travel there and back. I actually went to the Nazi Museum in Munich which is also amazing - spend hours there if you can the day before, which was a great decision - it helped in processing the Dachau visit. We had a great tour guide - very knowledgable. He even recommended some places for lunch in Munich. Take this tour - it's completely worth the experience and price.

Tour guide was very informative and knew when to be solemn. It would have been helpful if the place wasn't so crowded and loud with other groups because at times it was difficult to hear what he had to say over the noise.

Our recent trip to the Dachau Concentration Camp was enlightening and educational. Our guide Ky was an incredible source of knowledge, and his passion greatly added to the experience. This tour is a must in order to fully understand the torment and torture of the victims of Hitler's regime.

It was convenient to get to the site, but the guide didn't seem like he wanted to be there - went through the motions. either risk getting a better, more energetic guide or I would recommend that you find your way to the site on your own and do a self-guided tour.

Our tour guide Achim was outstanding.. Very knowledgeable on the subject matter and the Third Reich period. He gave a thorough yet relatively fast-paced tour which took approx. 2 hours. I came away learning a great deal about the Camp, the period of history and about how these things impact current events. Overall 5 stars for sure.. Highly recommend.

The tour is incredible, a lot of information in such a touching place. BTW I think it could take more time there so we could have more freetime to read tags and deep dive the history. The guide basically knows everything about everything. I'm glad I did this tour.
