The Amalfi coast was magnificent. Positano is a small village with lots of shops. We tasted some lemon cello. This is the land of lemons. Sorrento we stopped to eat at a true Italian restaurant I can't remember the name of it but the view overlooking the coast was splendid. Had spaghetti and clams with lemon cake. Stopped to buy a ceramic plate from a pottery place. beautiful made pottery. Stopped in Revello for a short visit. Also had an Italian ice cream along the way. Our driver and guide were great and enjoyable. The only thing to remember is to take some Dramamine before hand, because the mountain elevation will make you nausea going around. the coast. We just had a wonderful day touring the Amalfi Coast with our private tour guide, Rosario I am unsure how to spell his name. He picked us up at our cruise port at 830 and we spent all day exploring the towns of Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. He even took us to a cliffside restaurant for lunch that had good food and amazing views. He dropped us off at a point in each town and told us what time to come back and where to meet him so we could stay on schedule and see everything we wanted to see during this day. We can't recommend Rosario and this tour enough. We really enjoyed the Amalfi Coast!

Was an amazing day! Our driver Giovanni was fantastic - very knowledgeable and knew all the photo stops and took us to a great place for lunch overlooking the Amalfi coast. These towns are definitely worth visiting, we will back! We highly recommend this tour!

We chose not to hire a guide for this trip so did not have the benefit of learning more about the areas that we visited. However, the small towns and scenery was amazing and our driver negotiated the congested the traffic very well. It was a great day and we were back at our cruise trip with time to spare. We would definitely recommend this tour.

The Amalfi Coast was the best part of our trip. Our driver, Ciro, was amazing. He knew all the great photo op spots and took us to an incredible restaurant for lunch, perched in the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean. I highly recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Ciro.

We had a phenomenal time and can't rave about Rosario enough. He was such a gracious guide and showed us so much in such a short amount of time. If I'm ever lucky enough to be back in Amalfi, I wouldn't hesitate to book another private tour for more in depth coverage.

FANTASTIC! This was an amazing tour provided by our driver/guide Antonio Project Napoli. He provided us with many options as to how to spend our day and made great suggestions for lunch in Positano and gelato in Amalfi. Because we were interested in ceramics, he took us to a ceramics factory for a brief tour and a ceramics store, where we ordered a custom-made table. Our lunch on the hilltop of Positano was one of the best we had in Italy very authentic and reasonably priced. We were able to stop for many beautiful photos and spent more time in the towns that interested us. While we saw a lot, we never felt rushed. Antonio provided lots of interesting information along our route, and constantly tailored our tour to what interested us. We would highly recommend this tour with this driver/guide. Thank you Antonio!

First and most important our drive CHURRO was EXCEPTIONAL - he was really an expert tour guide and new the Sorrento,_br/_ Positano and Amalfi coast extremely well. At the start of the tour I can him a few things that were on our WISH LIST for the_br/_ all day tour. We say these things and much more. What Beautiful views, pleasant villages and great shopping. CHURRO _br/_ provided us with special tour that we will never forget. We have done the Amalfi coast in the past, but we never covered it_br/_ so completely as we did on this tour. The vehicle was very comfortable and all seats had great views on all sides. We also_br/_ stopped for a wonderful lunch at a local non tourist family venue where we had some traditional dishes that were delicious._br/_ We can't saw enough about the outstanding adventure we Had on June 22 2017. I would have rated the tour higher except we had to cut short because I was car sick. Between the windy roads of the amalfi coast and the fact that the car was manual shift, this was not a good fit for me. If you get car sick, reconsider the amalfi coast or request a car with automatic transmission.

Our tour guide Antwanette and driver Mario was excellent. Oh my, I have been saying that all of the places where my favorite part. But I think this tour was my favorite part. Ciro, our driver was so nice and was able to communicate very well in English. He took us to Sorrento, asked us how long we wanted to stay, then took to to lunch to the most amazing life-changing place. He made reservations and waited for us outside. Took us to Positano and then Amalfi. what can i say? It's Italy... Magical, beautiful, charming Italy. Do not do the huge excursions from the cruise ship. This is by far the BEST way to see Napoli. We were promptly picked up at the port and dropped off. All in time, all amazing!

well worth the trip and the drive and guide were excellent. do not recommend you try and drive here yourself. the day we went 5/1/2017 traffic was nuts, but that was not the norm as it was a national holiday. this was our best bang for the buck of our whole cruise.

I highly recommend this tour_br/_ Our guide Antonio was nothing short of professional. He took us everywhere we asked to visit and showed us several hidden gems along the way including this restaurant, Costa Diva, that overlooks the Mediterranean what an unforgettable lunch. _br/_ Antonio even fulfilled a pair of special requests for local pastry and pizza. BTW pizzerias/restaurants are closed between lunch and dinner but after sevaral stops he found one that was open.

This was one of the best trips we have taken. Amazing driver and tour guide. Though he knew minimal english, he was able to understand and he being a local, he was able to add his flair to the trip. He knew all the scenic spots and he knew the local pretty well. Definitely a trip that you should take and if you are coming off a cruise, Simpy go for this. The shore excursion offered by the cruise is expensive and it doesnt cover the places that this trip offers. Just its simply worth it.

This tour was amazing! We opted just for the driver and could not have been happier. Giovanni was amazing. He was waiting outside the cruise terminal right when we got off and during the long drive to the Amalfi coast he told us about the history of the places we were visiting and kept us well entertained. He stopped all along the drive so we could take beautiful pictures of the scenery. Since we went in December we had no traffic at all so we were able to stay in the towns a little longer than normal. I would highly recommend this tour!

We booked a driver and a guide for this EXPENSIVE tour for THREE people. 1. We got a Spanish speaking guide and we do not speak Spanish. The driver spoke acceptable English and we insisted we would be fine without a guide. They insisted we have a guide and the problem was handled as quickly as possible. They insisted we must have checked the Spanish box even though I explained I booked on the phone. So, okay, it was our fault! 2. The vehicle was a mid sized sedan. The guide and driver sat in front. Luckily one of our participants was sick this day or one of us would have had to sit on the hump in the middle of the back seat for an all day driving tour. Trust me, we would have walked. 3. Both the driver and the guide smoked not inside of the car and as a result, the smell in the car wasn't great. 4. The driver and the guide spoke Italian between themselves much of the time which is uncomfortable. Obviously we don't know if they are talking and laughing about how stupid we are or where they are going to take us to kill us! 5. Guide was texting and took personal phone calls during our tour. We had MUCH Superior tour guides using Trip Advisor and calling the individual owners. Less expensive and much superior! On a positive note, the driver was a good driver and the guide was knowledgable as she stated she normally lead tour busses. She was not as adept at answering/explaining questions regarding social economic and the political environment as our other private guides had been so well versed in and glad to share.

Wow - what a great day!! Very nice van. The driver and guide met us at the port. The driver was excellent and very safe. Our guide was Analisa and she was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. So glad we spent the extra money to have a guide. Since it was just our group of four we were able to customize the time at each place. This is such a great tour and so much better than being on a big bus.

What a great tour to go on and experience the Amalfi coast with its winding roads, beautiful seaside villages and towns and outstanding scenery. Our guide was very knowledgeable but their was a bit a language issue when we asked any questions. She did a great job overall and we saw a lot over the 8 hours. We stopped for lunch in Positano recommended by our driver and was so impressed with the view and the pizza the best we had in our visit Just an excellent tour overall .

I knew when I booked this tour that it would be a lot of driving. However, I have always wanted to see the Almafi Coast. We had so little time to walk around in Sorrento and Positano. We were given more time in the town of Almafi which seemed the least interesting to me. The tour guide was just ok compared to all the other Viator tours we took while on our cruise. We were all disappointed with the tour. I debated between Capri and this tour. I think everyone would have been happier with Capri. However, I did enjoy seeing the cute little town of Positano and would like to go back and spend a few days there.

Manuel was our driver for our trip along the Amalfi coast. From the time he picked us up at the port until he dropped us off at the end of the day Manuel gave us the most memorable day!! During the trip he pointed out so many beautiful spots and pulled over whenever he could so we could take pictures of the beautiful countryside. We visited Salerno, Almalfi and Positano where we had time to walk around,shop and even had lunch in a beautiful restaurant he suggested Da Costantino overlooking the sea. Manuel grew up in Naples so he was the perfect driver and guide to show us the Amalfi coast! Besides, what other guide serenades there guests in Italian while showing them his beautiful Italy? Our driver, Mauro, was a very good driver very important for the winding and narrow roads on this tour! and was also very helpful and informative for our full day excursion. We enjoyed a lovely, scenic lunch along the Amalfi coast at a family-owned restaurant a bit pricey, but they except major credit cards -- would be totally worth it for the view alone had it been a sunnier day for us... we had a bit of rain. Mauro was very friendly and we had a very enjoyable visit.

This is a perfect tour! It is so much better to book a private tour than take a cruise excursion.
