We were lucky enough to have Alexander as our driver and tour guide. Alex was a lifelong resident of Nice and the local area and knew all about it. He was only interested in making our tour experience incredible and catered to our every need. The tour was incredible and all the stops were well worth it. Highly recommend the tour and, if you can, ask for Alex!!

Amazing scenery from small towns on top of the mountains, the ride up and down from the hill tops were bumpy and can be tricky for people who suffer from motion sickness. The guide was courteous, professional and very informative._br/_ Would recommend this tour to family and friends if visiting countryside and small towns is your thing!

This tour was professionally run and our guide was friendly and his van was comfortable. There were four of us all together so we were quite comfortable. I feel that there was too much crammed into one day, making some of our stops feel rushed. We would have enjoyed spending more time exploring the towns on our own. We visited Canne, Grasse, Gourdon, Tourettes de Loup and Saint Paul de Vence. I would suggest eliminating the stop in Canne. Canne didn't offer anything. We stopped and looked at a bunch of fancy Yachts in the harbor.

We all enjoyed this tour. It includes lots of driving but we would not have been able to do this on our own. Would have liked more time at the last village as it was far nicer than the others.

Our tour guide was great and we had a fun day despite the rain. However, the tour did not include a stop at Loup Gorges or a visit to the Florian confectionery.

This is a lovely day trip--even when, as on our trip, there is fog. Our guide, Victor, was excellent. He provided great information as we traveled. We started in Cannes and saw the sights and view. Our main interest was Provence and the trip provided a great introduction to this area. We had an interesting visit to the Fragonard perfume factory in Grasse before having a great lunch in Gourdon, a charming old village with great views. The drive was fascinating even with the fog. And we especially enjoyed the lovely town of St-Paul-de-Vence. There was enough time at each stop to enjoy each place we visited.

Great tour to get a feel for French country side. visited St. Paul where Chagall spent his last 20 years. Tour guide - Viktor, he provided interesting insights. A quick visit to the perfume factory. Tour date Feb 2, only my wife and I were on the bus! Definitely recommend.

We're so glad that we took this tour. I had no idea we'd get to see glorious mountain views, a waterfall, and the Mediterranean Sea from high vistas in charming villages. Cannes was underwhelming since it was early in the day and not much was going on. For some reason, we didn't stop at Loup Gorges and the Florian confectionary, but we loved visiting the Fragonard perfumery, Gourdon, and Saint Paul de Vence so much that it made up for missing it. Our guide Caroline was friendly, knowledgeable, and a safe driver. I highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour with an excellent guide, Victor. Stunning views from top of Gourdon and the beautiful town of Saint Paul De Vence. The food at the little restaurant at Gourdon truly scrumptious.

We had a wonderful time on this trip. Our tour guide, Victor, was extremely knowledgable and very friendly. It was the perfect amount of time in each city and we never felt rushed. This is a great tour for people who want to see various parts of the French Riviera but aren't sure how to do it. We learned a lot and had a great time- would highly recommend this tour.

In a crowded field of similar tours, skip this one. Guide was extremely unhelpful, rarely slowing down even enough to let anyone get a picture of some of the big attractions whereas other vans seemed to pull over so everyone I was often sitting on wrong side! could take photos. It felt cheaply constructed and not that interesting, most of the information provided was about Hollywood celebs and not the history of the area. Guide actually spent almost the entire trip having side conversations with one of the passengers in a language two other passengers didn't speak so we never got a chance to ask any questions we had.

Don't miss going to this awesome place! You'll see and have the opportunity to buy some of the many wonderful handicrafts/artwork/jewelry designed and/or made by local artists. The Fragonard perfumery is an interesting place to see and observe how perfume is processed from beginning to end. Thanks to Viator for offering this trip.

Overall it was a great experience. The driver and guide, Evia, provided tons of information and made the trip enjoyable. The only complaint I would have is the stop in Cannes isn't really worth it, and Grasse should be visited only on weekdays as the town was pretty empty due to it being early morning on Sunday. Loved visiting Gourdon and Saint Paul de Vince. I wish the trip included two more little villages like these instead of Cannes and Grasse. Beautiful drive through the Alps and countryside meant great views. More stops along the way for pictures would be nice.

This was the best tour we had in the French Riviera. Our guide, Pierre was very opinionated but he made it very entertaining. He was very honest and open and left it up to us, the tourists to decide how long we wanted at each stop to accommodate everyone in the group. He was a treasure trove of information that made the rides seem very short. Gourdon was such a peaceful and historic town, like right out of a Harry Potter movie. The Fragonard factory in Grasse was great as well as it was a lot more modern and renovated compared to the one in Eze. St. Paul de Vence was like a larger Gourdon and just spectacular! Would definitely recommend this tour to everyone and try to request Pierre if possible, you won't regret it!

The tour was simply wonderful, we had Joe as our driver and he was fabulous! there were six of us on this particular day, four English speaking and two Spanish speaking and Joe explained everything twice, in both languages and always with a smile. My favourite part of the tour was La Tourette, which is not usually on the tour but because of weather conditions Joe took the time to take us there instead it was absolutely the loveliest village, so many thanks to Joe for being so thoughtful, he really made the whole tour very special!

We absolutely loved this tour. It was a great way to see areas outside of Nice without having to navigate and drive ourselves around very unfamiliar territory. Cannes was our least favorite stop, although it's fun to say we've been there and seen the hotel where Grace Kelly met Prince Ranier, and window-shopped the swanky shops! We opted to explore the old town of Grasse vs. tour the perfumery, only because we'd done the perfumery tour on another excursion. We loved walking up and down the narrow walkways and exploring the local shops. I would recommend eating an early lunch in Grasse or packing a lunch to eat in Gourdon, the 3rd stop. Restaurant options are limited in Gourdon, and you will want to use your short time there to explore this quaint medieval village. The final stop, St. Paul de Provence, was probably our favorite. We aren't really artsy people, and this village is know for it's artists. Even still it is a lovely village to explore. Our tour guide, Sylvia, was so very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING and very engaging as we drove around the countryside. Another bonus for this day trip is that we are driven around in a 9 passenger van vs. a large tour bus. This makes it much easier to get around and get quickly from one place to another. I highly recommend this trip!

We had very foggy weather, which was a worry, but it turns out that medieval villages have some extra ambience in a dense fog. I adored this day trip, as it allowed me to scout out the countryside, visit some tourist-y locations and some less tourist-y locations. I learned enough to know I want to go back and spend more time in the mountains, and less at the beach.

Guide talked too fast to understand and we asked repeatedly to talk slower. The order ad content of this tour was not very good. There should have been more time in Cannes. In Grasse it w us have been nice to have time to explore the town it looked really pretty. Too much time spent in Goirdon

We were extremely lucky to be the only ones on the tour, and to get a russian speaking guide! Everything was marvelous and very worth every penny. We could have never seen so many beautiful places with such comfort and great company. My mother, who have never been in Europe before, who finds bus or train day trips exhausting and doesn't speak any language besides Russian, was especially pleased and happy with the tour! Thanks a lot!

Our tour with Joe was the most excellent I have ever experienced. As a tourism professional, I am sometimes looking for more than the average tourist might but this tour and Joe surpassed every expectation I had. For changing the booking one of my two daughters was unable to attend and Viatour's app made the policies and communication very clear. 100 satisfaction! One the day of the tour, it was a treat to have Joe arrive punctually with a new, clean and air conditioned van. For such a long day from 9 pm to 5 pm the vehicle was a very important part of our experience and I was dreading the sort of half-hearted AC that I'd experienced in many southern Europe vehicles. Joe even considerately asked about our comfort level. An excellent driver with deep historical knowledge and superb English, Joe was the consummate guide. A tour guide can make a break an experience and Joe not only possessed excellent historical, geographical, etc. information but was experienced enough in customer service to know how to address and meet our needs. For example, I am a history buff and my daughter more of an adventure and glamour seeker and Joe knew how to deliver a presentation that was delightful for both of us. What most amazed me was his knowledge of the sites we visited and his relationships with various vendors e.g. he knew where the clean washrooms were, were he could park, where we could find vegetarian meals and deals on wine, etc. but most importantly, his knowledge of the area cracked a life-long mystery for me. I took this tour to visit the hill-top middle ages town of St.Paul in order to make pilgrimage to my favourite author's soon to be demolished home. It's an obscure and long abandoned home with no address that even my online sleuthing skills couldn't find. With a wish and a prayer, I asked Joe about it and he set about talking to his local contacts in St. Paul and he found the house!! A life time dream come true for me! A guide without such in-depth knowledge of the area, local contacts and understanding of human nature could never have accomplished that. In summary, I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to all to wish to discover the region. We toured Cannes Joe knew all the shopping and hotel tips, the perfumery at Grasse with its lovely staff and gift shop, Gourdon and St. Paul with excellent commentary and customer service the entire time. The combination of Joe and the ease of using the Viatour app made this tour the highlight of my long history of touring Europe!

This tour was particularly nice because it allowed me to go to several small towns which on my own would be a pain. Several parts of the trip were so-so Cannes was boring and the Fragonard tour in Grasse was ok but clearly suited for tourists - it didn't have the small country feel. So why did I give this five stars given what I said. In the end, the place were we had lunch was really nice and scenic. And the town of St Paul de Vence made it all up. That town was an excellent way to spend the afternoon and I just love that place. I guess going to Cannes and Grasse allowed me to check boxes but perhaps that part could have been modified to have something else.

It was definitely a nice experience away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. I went during the low season in March so it was a very small group, which made it felt more personal. The guide was very informative too. Would have been nice if they tour goes past the flower fields, especially as I can imagine that when the lavender blooms, it would be a very pretty sight. Still, I would recommend this tour.

This tour was worthwhile - we were able to see many things we would not have otherwise seen. I am glad we got to experience Cannes even though it wasn't my favorite place preferred Nice, no contest. We had a short time there, but honestly I wouldn't have wanted much longer. If you really like to shop it may not be enough time. The perfumery in Grasse was really neat. I did wish we had a little more time to shop here - we only had about 5 min left at the end. The town of Gourdon was gorgeous and the experience of being there was so awesome, and the tour allotted a perfect amount of time. Same with St Paul de Vence. Our tour guide was excellent. If you don't otherwise have plans to see Provence, I highly recommend this day trip!

We decided not to drive in Provence so we booked this 8 hour tour to explore places we wanted to go. We were delighted that we decided not to drive, and that Caroline was our guide. We saw Cannes and got pictures, Grasse and bought perfume, Gourdon and explored this beautiful area sitting on the mountain. Our pictures were beautiful from that mountainside venue. Our favorite place was saved for last, Saint Paul de Vence! We had heard from several people that we needed to see this picturesque town. Words don't do it justice ,it's unique._br/_ Caroline is professional , eager to please, and just a pleasure to be with. We would do this tour again because it was a fabulous day! By the way, we would request Caroline again.
