Explore the natural beauty of Oahu’s western coast on a 3.5-hour catamaran cruise that includes a wildlife experience and snorkeling. Glide along the unspoiled west coast from Ko Olina to look for whales and dolphins in the pristine waters off of Oahu, then snorkel in a secret spot that affords a great view of the coral reef and fish. Wrap up with a Hawaiian buffet feast accompanied by alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks. Expert crew share informative commentary throughout the day as you discover the treasures of this Hawaiian paradise.
After pickup from your central Waikiki hotel, travel by comfortable air-conditioned coach to the marina where you board the 61-foot (18.5-meter) catamaran for your 3.5-hour cruise. You can choose from three departure times — morning, midday or afternoon — to suit your schedule.
Head north along the pristine western coast of Oahu to look for dolphins, whales (when in season), flying fish, green sea turtles and more. When your captain locates a pod of dolphins or whales, your boat stops to allow you to get an excellent view of the mighty mammals from the spacious deck. Your expert crew can answer any questions that you may have about the animals you see.
Afterward, your captain steers the boat into a special spot for snorkeling. Put on the provided gear and receive detailed safety and snorkeling instruction. Then hop in the water to marvel at colorful corals and a multitude of fish. Enjoy an hour of snorkeling in the clear tropical waters, with guides available to assist you with fish identification throughout your exploration.
Back on the boat, you can rinse off in one of the boat’s six warm, freshwater showers. Two changing rooms and restrooms are also available.
Once the snorkelers return to the boat, the crew serves unlimited non-alcoholic beverages or your choice of beer, wine, mai tai or margarita (up to four alcoholic drinks included). Then tuck into a sumptuous Hawaiian buffet that may include teriyaki chicken, kalua pig (pulled pork), potato-pasta salad, rice and fresh fruit. As you eat inside the cabin, your boat begins a leisurely cruise back to the marina.
Throughout the tour, your captain and crew shares the history and legends of the Waianae Coast. A professional photographer takes photos both on the boat and in the water, which you have the option to purchase back at the dock before you're returned to your Waikiki hotel.

This was a rainy day and with a crowd of 40 attempting to fit in the galley it was very crowded - once rain stopped we spotted a whale but again if you were not quick enough to get to the front of the boat to watch there was no room_br/_ Lastly suggestion to make sure you check the pictures prior to spending 40 on pictures that were out of focus or of a whales tale 30 at least

Great experience from beginning to end. Bus on time and very nice color commentary on ride from WB Marriott to marina. Can't say enough good things about Capt Jim and his crew. Super nice and helpful. Excellent buffet lunch and beverages. Saw dolphins at Stop1 and saw turtle at Stop 2. Don't miss This!

What an amazing cruise and crew. The whole experience was wonderful for the five of us and the crew went way above and beyond. We saw dolphins we saw on the way out which we stopped and they put on a great show for us. They had those who weren't actually snorkeling involved by feeding the fish and one crew member spent about 30 min in the water working with a young girl 7 or 8 yr old snorkeling for her first time. Swimming with the turtles and fish was awesome. Great food and drinks. I would def recommend this cruise and will be joining you again if we come back to Hawaii.

This was the highlight of our Hawaiian vacation. Even though the weather wasn't looking good when the boat left the dock, the cheerful crew kept us laughing and having a great time. It did eventually clear up and we were able to snorkel in beautiful clear water full of tropical fish and a pod of dolphins. We were fully trained on how to use the equipment and I felt safe the entire time. They even helped me when my mustache was causing water to leak into my mask. The food and drinks provided on the boat on our trip back were great. I highly recommend buying the pictures that are taken throughout the trip - they allowed us to focus on enjoying ourselves without having to constantly take pictures. I can't praise this tour enough.

Fantastic boat. Fantastic crew. We didn't have the best snorkeling location because we had to go further out to find the dolphins, but the crew made sure a good time was had by all. Food was surprisingly good as well. Awesome trip, Highly recommended.Captain Jim was excellent, so were his assistants and a great photographer as well. Would book again with same company.

We saw dolphins, turtles before we even snorkeled. Staff in water to offer assistance to snorklers and was always checking on those in water to verify that we were ok! I would like to give compliment to the front desk staff, Drina on April 19, 2016. On that morning I arrived Ilima Hotel @ 10:25 a.m. to wait for the Catamaran excursion with Ocean Joy Cruise Company through the booking with Viator Travel. They told me that they'll send me the bus to pick me up @ 10:45 a.m. and reminded me to arrive the Ilima Hotel @10:30 a.m. I arrived early than they told me @ 10:25 a.m. Unfortunately the bus driver left the hotel before 10:25 a.m. without waiting for me. I have no cell phone to contact them, but the front desk staff, Drina helped me to contact the tour company despite that she had to wait for a long time to get hold of the right person to arrange the Sunset cruise instead of the morning cruise for me. If Drina didn't offer her help for me, I guess I'll miss the Catamaran tour because I leave Honolulu the next morning. Drina is such a wonderful lady with patience and kindness to help the tourist like me to enjoy the time in Hawaii, without her I'll surely feel miserable of the unreliable Ocean Joy Cruise Company's bus driver for not waiting for me despite I went there early than the appointment time. I wish everyone will like Drina to do an extra mile service for the tourist, so that we can enjoy more of the fun in Hawaii instead of feeling frustrated of the unreliable service from Ocean Joy Cruise Company.

Entertaining. Saw lots of dolphins who put on a bit of a show for us. One green turtle and loads of colourful fish. _br/_ Food was good. First drink was lovely, but then they ran out of Mai Tai mix??!! However you had a good choice of spirits, wine and beer.

Awesome experience!! We got to see whales and dolphins! Snorkeling was the best part, although I wish they would have explained how to breathe through the mask in more detail. By the time I figured it out, it was time to get out the water. I would have liked more snorkeling time.

We found this cruise to be really fun. We found a school of dolphin and two humback whales. We swam with a sea turtle and the temp was great. The food was plentyfull. The pork was bland but the chicken was really good. Mix drink variety was limited, staff was great. They took a whole lot of pictures which made it very easy to enjoy the cruise. Just tell them ahead that you are going to buy it 40.00 so they can concentrate on you.
