Aruba Lunch and Snorkel Half-Day Cruise

Aruba Lunch and Snorkel Half-Day Cruise

Oranjestad, Aruba

Journey in style aboard this luxury catamaran as you sail to the best snorkel spots in Aruba. Discover one of the Caribbean's largest wrecks and get close to the abundant marine life. Take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear water before enjoying a sumptuous deli-style lunch with full open bar.

Your first stop is Catalina Bay; a nice shallow area ideal for those who have not snorkeled in a long time. You will have the opportunity to get used to your snorkel equipment while viewing lots of colorful fish and corals in their growing stages.

Then onto the Antilla Ship Wreck, one of Aruba's most famous snorkeling spots. The wreck is 400 ft. (122 meters) long and sits in 60 ft. (18 meters) of water. When the Germans invaded Holland during World War ll, this German freighter was scuttled by its Captain on purpose to avoid confiscation by the Dutch in Aruba. The wreck is now surrounded with colorful fish and corals. Fish include: The Parrot Fish, Barracudas, Fresh Angel Fish, Yellow Tail Snapper, Grunt, Blue Tang, Butterfly Fish, Green Moray , Puffer Fish, Sergeant Mayor, Southern Stingray, Queen Flounder, Stoplight Parrotfish and Trumpet Fish.

The catamaran features two marine bathrooms, two sunning nets, plenty of seating space, stereo music and a fully stocked bar. A special swimming ladder makes it easy for passengers to step into the water. There's a great waterslide too!

Take advantage of a snorkel lesson, complete with all equipment. A full open bar is included after snorkeling, where the friendly crew is always on hand to make the sail a wonderful experience. They keep a watchful eye out for empty cocktail glasses and entertain you with local music, dancing and storytelling.

What a great excursion. Well worth the money. My wife, 18, 15 and 13 year olds had a great time and we were able to see a lot at the three different locations. Food was really good and plenty for all. All in all, we had about 20 passengers. Other excursions that I saw on our day had 30, so I liked the smaller numbers, but that may vary. The crew was fun and very attentive. One passenger needed help and the captain jumped to help. The sunken ship location, on our day, was very windy and the waves and current were stronger we were in 60 ft. of water at that location, so this may be harder for beginners, but doable. The other two locations were in about 8 to 12 feet of water, calm and near the shoreline/beaches, which is very good for beginners. There are life vests available too, along with the other gear.

Aruba was our destination of choice for our annual family Girls Trip and we are so happy that we incorporated this excursion. It was beyond perfect for a group of 11 women, who had various interests. It was suitable for those that just wanted to sail inside or outside the catamaran, those who just wanted to sun bathe and/or those who wanted to swim/snorkel. The awesome crew walked around twice with delicious appetizers and the lunch buffet was icing on the cake - ALL of the food especially the trout was tasty! Another plus is that the open bar was truly an all you can drink with speciality cocktails. It was a relaxing and fabulous day for our family and we highly recommend the experience. We would like to send special shout outs to the entire Red Sail Sports crew members, specifically Randy and Dion that catered to all of our requests and kept the party going!

Was not happy at all with this activity. Crew was unfriendly and grouchy. Food was horrible. Not a lunch at all, went around with acouple trays of snacks. I went on the same snorkel and lunch with ANOTHER COMPANY 10 months prior to this. I was unable to get that on the days we were staying this time. The other company had a crew that were happy, food was great. I guess the people that reviewed this had not been on any other lunch snorkels in Aruba to compare them with. The only thing positive I can say is they picked up on time and returned us back to our hotel without delay.

Highly Recommend! My husband and I had a blast. We drank, we ate, we swam, we snorkeled, we jumped off the boat, great crew if it wasn't for them i would have missed out on seeing the ship wreck the got me out there!

The crew were amazing! The catamaran takes you to 3 snorkeling spots and provide all the gear you need! There is not ample shade from the sun so bring a lot of sunscreen. There were a lot of kids on my tour which kind of prohibited the adults from having a real party but none the less drinks were pouring non stop! The lunch is very minimal so do not count on it filling you up- I advise you eat breakfast because you wait for about 30 minutes to board and then another 3 hours before they offer food. Overall it was awesome definitely would do it again!

The snorkel sites are nice but not the greatest. Equipment was very good as well as the Catamaran and service. The open bar was very attractive for drinkers and the food is ok. What you can expect at this facility.

Had a wonderful half-day with three snorkel stops. The crew was friendly and helpful and the food for lunch was exceptionally good, even healthy! I highly recommend this tour, just the right length!

This trip was nice. There were 3 snorkel stops. _br/_ The stops felt a bit rushed, it would have been nicer to have maybe 30 additional minutes at each stop, to get in, play around, board the boat and just hang out on the catamaran.

Crew was great, food and drinks were great. The shipwreck was ok, to many other boats out there at the same time, water was a bit rough. went to one of the snorkel sites later in the week on our own, just as much fun. Would recommend this.

The tour was great. The only problem was that the driver that was supposed to pick us up for the event never showed and we had to scramble to find a way yo get to the pier before the boat left.

The tour was not very much fun. The water was very choppy and cloudy at the shipwreck so it was hard to snorkel and hard to see anything. Also the lunch was supposed to be deli so we thought it would be sandwiches but it was fish and rice and other sides. So my husband went hungry. Usually on these snorkel trips the crew is really fun and there is music and dancing. Not here it was pretty boring.

We visited Aruba by cruise ship and booked this trip to avoid the cruise ship crowds and inflated prices. The pick up point was easy to access and close to the pier. The driver was prompt and friendly. Our wait to get on the catamaran when arriving at the pier was lengthy and the check in process was somewhat unorganized. The staff however was very friendly both on the pier and catamaran. The catamaran was spacious and in good repair. There were only 12 of us on the entire thing. The lunch was average and typical of this type of voyage. The snorkeling was fair this date because it was windy and the water visibility was low. we have snorkeled in Aruba before and it is usually fantastic and well worth it. This trip is definitely worth doing and I would recommend it.

It was wonderful, at first my daughters admonished me for planning my roundtrip pick up and drop off to our Aruba hotel. Then they admonished me for planning our snorkeling tour to Catalina Island with food and a magnificent Captain and Crew. They gave my adult daughter who could not swim one on one attention and she was snorkeling like everyone else. The other daughter thought she could sit and watch everyone else, but gave in and snorkeled until the crew told her we had to leave the area. It was the best water excursion all of us ever had and we are well traveled, the food was excellent. We had the time of our lives!!!!! Thank You, Jamila Ali WHNP BC MSN

The first snorkel spot was good but the staff did not assist with water entry or exit which was difficult for many passengers. At the second snorkel spot the water was so rough my 66 year old mother had to get out of the water and was so fatigued from trying to swim against the current and swallowing lots of salt water in doing so that she skipped the third spot. As other reviews detailed, the food was good and plentiful.

Best way to book instead of going through the cruise ship. A lot less people on our boat, great hot lunch, and awesome drinks. By far the best way to book is through victor. I recommend this tour to anyone who likes to snorkel. The guys on the boat were awesome also. Will book Again on another cruise

This was a very enjoyable trip. We were brought to three different snorkel sites including a ship wreck. Equipment was provided but we used our own. The captain was very professional and informative. Lunch was tasty and there was plenty to eat and drink.

There were four people in our group, three with no prior snorkeling experience. The staff didn't provide any general snorkeling know-how tips before the first dive, so we made due with the information furnished by our one experienced member (one dive, 40 years in the past). After several panicked minutes everyone was able to get their faces in the water and see some of the abundant marine life, though there was a significant amount of coughing due to swallowing and breathing salt water. But in spite of the steep learning curve, everyone had a good time. The staff was personable, the boat comfortable, and the three dive locations were beautiful beyond words. You will be better off if you can get in some snorkeling practice before you hit the water. Don't miss the chance to see and experience what is just below the water surface.

A great time! The boat was not so huge, there were the perfect amount of fellow snorkelers (not too big like some other outfits) and the crew was professional and very friendly. They seemed to really care about us having a great time. the food was excellent (as opposed to sandwiches served by another outfit) and the drinks flowed freely. The water slide off the back of the boat was a perfect and fun addition. I would recommend this excursion for anyone who enjoys snorkeling, sailing, and Aruba in general.

Pros - Beautiful sites chosen with lots of fish. The ship wreck was wonderful where we could clearly see to the bottom as the scuba divers swam below us. Their air bubbles tickled us as they rose to the surface. -A great place was chosen to anchor for lunch where there was access to a beach cove and places to stand up in the sand. - Food was great. - Drinks were served maybe too freely. I drink beer and beer was not available. - Ship was nice, we did not visit the bathroom. - Pick up by van was on time. Cons - Ship scheduled to leave 30 min after we arrived. We rushed to catch our van only to wait at the dock where we waited for the crew to ready the boat. - their time is more valuable than ours. - The ship did not have slip proof coating on stairs. My wife and one other person slipped and fell before the crew placed a towel on the stairs. - Crew was not quite as professional as other catamaran excursions. I have seen uniforms worn and you could clearly see the roles of each crew member. On this trip I could not tell who was a crew member and who was a guest. The guests were of mature mixed age and not the partying crowd. - Accent was so heavy on the crew member providing instructions that you could not understand his English.
