Meet your guide at Oslo City Hall, and then hop aboard your luxury coach for your city tour. Your first stop is at Vigeland Park to walk around the world-renowned collection of sculptures by beloved Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland. Boasting more than 200 bronze and granite sculptures, the park is one of Norway’s top attractions, and regularly draws visitors from around the world. Look out for the 46-foot (14-meter) Monolith sculpture, as well as Sinataggen, a model of an angry London boy.

Continue to the famous Holmenkollen Ski Jump, used during the 1952 Winter Olympics, it has since been totally rebuilt and the new centre opened in 2010. Enjoy roughly 20 minutes of free time to soak up the views over Oslo and take photos. Perched on top of a hill, the iconic ski jump is known for being one of the city’s finest vantage points. This is a photo stop only.

Return back into central Oslo and resume your whistle-stop tour around the city center. See a collection of top Oslo attractions such as Akershus Castle and Fortress and the Royal Palace Park (Slottsparken) while learning about the city’s history and culture from your guide. The exact sights seen depend on the route taken on the day, but typically you will also see Oslo Cathedral, Oslo Fjord and Oslo Opera House, too.

After two hours of exploring the city, travel back to the start point at Oslo City Hall where your sightseeing tour finishes.

I missed this tour because I could not find the bus stop. I asked the locals but nobody knew where exactly the plaza is. _br/_ Perhaps it would be good to provide a map versus instructions.

This was an excellent introduction to the sights of Oslo. The tour was very well run and we were well looked after by our lovely guide Anne-Grethe. First we were driven around Oslo town and given lots of interesting information about the buildings. Then we drove to the Ski jump and had 25minutes to get out and look around. As we drove to the next stop Anne-Grethe talked about the Norwegian culture and how Norwegians live today with plenty of humour thrown in. We got out and were taken through Vigeland park and introduced to some of the statues by our guide, then back in the bus to our starting point. This was really only a brief introduction. If you want to spend time at the sights choose a hop on- hop off bus. This was just the right length tour for us as we only had two days in Oslo.

First 45 minutes of tour were completely silent from tour guide. Not a single word and I'm not exaggerating as I looked at the clock on the bus. Drove around the downtown area but seemingly without much purpose. First stop was the ski jump. Sadly, all the bus tours are kept inside a fenced area so we could not walk up the jump, or down to the winter activities area which had a great biathlon going on. Wothless and pointless. The back on the bus for another totally silent drive to Vigeland Park. Our guide spoke in three languages, but her stops were short and not that informative. Then back to our pickup location with the only words being the tour is over.

Good tour but a little more walking than we'd anticipated as my husband has arthritis. You can stay on the bus however whilst others walk around the sculpture park, so not a huge problem

Started off poorly with a mix up with buses, tour was late leaving and late coming back making us miss a connecting ferry. Tour wasn and #39;t too informative and very military style with hardly any free time to explore. Highly disappointed in the tour. Oslo itself is beautiful

This is a good tour to do if you are in Oslo for a short space of time. You get to visit all the major attractions with the comfort of a coach. The tour guide was also good at explaining all the historical symbolism in Vigeland park.

We had very little time in Oslo after coming through the fjords and over the mountains on the Flam. This quick tour gave us an overview of the must see highlights of Oslo very efficiently.Not much timeat each stop but that's how they fit it all in.

in spite of the bad weather , the fact that I speak spanish and my english is not verey good, I appreciate the tour as a very good experience recomende principally because the guide is very kind and learned, she spoke slowly so I could understand almost everything...
