Tjapukai Indigenous Dinner with Firelit Ceremonial Dance and Dreamtime Stories from Palm Cove and No
Palm Cove, Australia
Journey into the dreamtime legend and discover the magic of Australia's ancient indigenous culture by night fire at Tjapukai. Enjoy a cultural evening of indigenous entertainment and tastes of the Tropical North including kangaroo, crocodile and local seafood during this unforgettable dinner and show experience.
Your evening will start with a pick-up at your accommodation in Palm Cove or Northern Beaches. Upon arrival you will have time to admire authentic indigenous art in the Rainforest Canopy Breezeway and enjoy a welcome drink and canapès.
Then meet the Bama, the Indigenous rainforest people, who will paint your face to link you to their traditional land. They will take you on a mesmerizing journey accompanied by the sounds of didgeridoo. You will then follow the Tjapukai Warriors along a firelit path to a corroboree or dance ceremony celebrating Aboriginal Dreamtime stories. Become part of the Rainbow Serpent circle to learn traditional language, songs and make music with Aboriginal clap sticks, before the ceremonial fire is lit with a spectacular fireball shooting towards the stars.
Dinner will be served at the Flame Tree Bar and Grill where you can enjoy a tropical buffet dining experience including Australian delicacies such as kangaroo, crocodile, and local seafood. The chef will whip up fresh dishes from an open flame grill.
