Your guided Temecula wine tasting
tour begins with hotel pickup by H1 Hummer. Enjoy the views as you depart Palm
Springs and travel over the mountains, looking out on the valley’s
dramatic landscape. Soon you’ll arrive in the Temecula wine country.
Some
of Southern California’s best wines are produced in this valley
southwest of Palm Springs, thanks to its Mediterranean-like climate
(warm days and cool nights). Grapes for making syrah, grenache, tempranillo
and sangiovese thrive across the region’s more than 3,500 acres (1,416 hectares) of
vineyards. Upwards of 40 wineries showcase the best of the best in
upscale tasting rooms, but don’t expect a Napa vibe; Temecula is more
casual than its northern counterpart, and people often pass on fine
wines for the popular almond-infused sparkling wine.
While the
almond wine might flow, your tour focuses on classic red and white varietals at
three wineries. The tour operator specializes in going to hard-to-get-into vineyards that have won 4 stars or more for their wines. Let your nose and taste buds, and the sommeliers, guide you
through the differences, as you taste up to 18 wines throughout the day.

My wife and I really enjoyed the tour, and would highly recommend it. Our Guide was knowledgeable, and fun. The locations were great, and we brought a lot of memories and wine back home with us.

This trip did not meet our expectations! Our guide was cheesy and unprepared. Our trip was basically an overpriced ride to wine country. We were dropped at the door and stood at counters to do tastings. Our lunch was ordered at a counter and we ate on paper plates. This trip was not worth what we paid. We've used other companies in the past and had a much more personalized, professional tour.

Loved this tour. Our tour guide Bruce was brilliant, flexible to our requests and amazing with the knowledge of snakes, plant life and the terrain. The big yellow hummer ride to the wineries was the most awe inspiring unique way to travel. All the wineries were great and we picked up some great finds. We found a great summer white Cabernet Sauvignon at Wilson Creek plus they have a fun almond champagne that made us all giggly. This was a great find of a tour. I'd like to have lunch at some of the other wineries.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The tour guide took excellent care of us at each winery. The choice of wineries was top notch. We recommend this tour to anyone who would like to see beautiful views, taste a variety of wines and not be burdened with the driving.
