Swim with Dolphins Day Trip from Perth
Perth, Australia
Swim with wild dolphins in the sheltered bays and islands off Rockingham, only 40-minutes by road from Perth. This is a unique opportunity to interact with the dolphins in their natural environment. Over the course of 20 years, the crew has befriended over 200 local dolphins, and this familiarity makes for an incredible day interacting with these amazing, intelligent creatures.
Your day begins with a coach transfer from Perth. On arrival to Rockingham, you'll board the custom-made dolphin swim vessel complete with a large rear platform, making access to the water very easy.
After your crew has located a pod, you’ll gear up with wetsuits, masks and snorkels (all equipment is included) and then dive into the fun, as you are quickly surrounded by excited whistles and splashes as the dolphins arrive to play. While many resorts provide opportunities to swim with dolphins, the crew’s rapport with these precocious marine mammals has created one of the best swim-with-dolphins excursions in Australia. Better still, Rockingham is a brief, 40-minute drive from Perth, making it an easy day trip.
Following your swim, you’ll be treated to refreshments back on the boat before your return journey back to Perth.
Absolutely loved this tour. Have been on dolphin swimming tour before but never got so close to dolphins as on this trip. There were so many of them and we had so much time swimming with them. Heaps of food, warm tea, wetsuits, even a towel, and snacks were provided. This is a MUST DO when in Perth!!

The trip far exceeded my expectations. I didn't realise how many dolphins there were or how close you actually got to them. It is just you, a snorkel and a dolphin next to you absolutely amazing.

I loved everything about the morning we spent with swimming with wild dolphins. Beautiful day, the guide was punctual, the crew was nice and very easy to connect with, great group. We saw dolphins at our first stop already. It's important to be aware of the fact that they are wild. Don't expect to touch a dolphin or playing with them. It's all about observing them in their natural habitat. I guess we were in the water about five times for a couple of minutes each. Last time we were in, we could watch the dolphins eating some fishes which they caught with help of a sting ray. We even got free pictures sent to us by e-mail.

Fantastic experience to be in the water with wild dolphins. We were really well looked after by the friendly instructors who made sure that everyone was comfortable in the water and had an opportunity to get close to the action. A memory for a lifetime.

Perfect day with dolphins. We have spent only about 1 hour to search the dolphins. Staff were very friendly, funny, nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend to choose them if you want to swim with wild dolphins. Amazing experience.

This tour was fantastic. The staff are brilliant. It took us 5 hours to find a pod of dolphins, however this only made me even more sure that they were 100 wild. When we did find the dolphins, swimming with them was amazing. We spent a lot of time with them and the staff took plenty of pictures. I would recommend this tour to anybody. Definitely worth it!

Amazing experience! So glad I did it. The tour guides were so friendly and we got to see and swim with a bunch of dolphins and a playful Australian sea lion. Super cool! Would recommend!

This tour was NOT eco-friendly at all. When we saw a dolphin and her calf, about 28 people + guides got into the water at the same time. The crew use motorised power units to move. One of them is the photographer and she literally chased the dolphins. This made me feel very uncomfortable !

What an absolutely stunning experience! It was of the highest importance to me that the dolphins were wild and not bated at all and I am pleased to say that they were indeed wild. The staff was very friendly and informative about the dolphins we saw and very respectful of them too. It's clear that their welfare is high on the companies list of priorities. _br/_
We saw 2 different pods and spent about 40 mins in total with them, I got up close to several dolphins and this was certainly a dream come true for me :-). I urge anyone that wants to do this to go with this company.

My friend and I both went on this tour as part of her birthday present and found it was a really awesome experience. The staff were all awesome and the entire trip was really well organised from start to finish and they made sure we all got several sights of dolphins. No complains at all!

A wonderful half day trip. The hotel pick up was on time and we were at Rockingham within about 45 minutes. After time for a coffee we boarded the very comfortable boat and headed out to sea. Maybe we were lucky but we found dolphins within about 20 minutes. We had already donned our wet suits and been given instructions on how it works. We were split into 6 groups of about 6 in each and when told to go, entered the water and by holding onto the person in front were towed around looking at these wonderful creatures. Magical! After about an hour we moved on (their licence restricts the time permitted for interacting with the dolphins). Moored in a bay we had lunch and swum off the back of the boat before returning to shore. All the staff were very enthusiastic, knowledgable and encouraging._br/_
Highly recommended._br/_
Why not 5 stars?_br/_
The minibus could have been a little more comfortable. _br/_
Also, with my wife and I both in our 60s and new to snorkeling the instruction could have been a little clearer. I was OK but my wife struggled a little and had to sit out a couple of the swims as she regained her breath and confidence._br/_
Otherwise fine. The took photos of us in the water and posted them free of charge on the internet. They responded very quickly and efficiently to my query on how to download the photos.

The people were fantastic. The dolphins were out of this world. It was over too soon. We located dolphins within 10 mins and if finished early.

The guides are friendly. Everything go’s on an easy way. They tell how to behave in the water between the dolphins. We saw today dolphins, at one meter distance. This was an amazing experience. Everything was organised very well. It was a very nice and relaxed day. Thank you for that.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day out swimming with the dolphins in Rockingham. The weather was perfect, and the team who took us out were friendly, fun and knew their stuff. It was an amazing experience to swim up close and personal with the dolphins, who were especially playful on this particular day. And the piping hot cups of tea and lunch were especially appreciated after coming out of the cold water!
A terrific day out.

We had a fantastic day and the crew were lots of fun, if you are from NQ or not used to the cold, don't go end April/May as we were freezing, my friend missed out on swimming with dolphins as she was so cold she got out of her wetsuit before we found "social dolphins" our first swim the dolphins were not social, so we got back in boat and had to sit in "wet" wetsuits whilst the boat found a group of dolphins who swam with us, we forgot to take any snacks on board and the simple "wraps" for lunch were delicious and so was the hot milo/tea/coffee to warm us up, i would like to go again and take my older children in summer!

Took hours to find the dolphins, and only actually in the water with them for about 4 mins max!!!!!
