Escape the city Tour the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers and watch the sunset over Phnom Penh whilse relaxing on the Mekong Tara Prince. We cruise by the Royal Palace before turning into the Mekong, passing the floating villages all from the comfort of the top decks enjoying the included BBQ and drinks. Once owned by the prince, this beautiful boat has been refurbished to offer comfort and style ensuring a perfect journey, and its unique double haul enables us to navigate areas other river boats cannot.
Come and join us as we escape the city of Phnom Penh and cruise up the Tonle sap river and join the mighty to watch the sunset over Phnom Penh. whilst and relaxing on the special Mekong Tara Prince.
Itinerary
Pick up and return from Hotel/Guesthouse can be arranged, pick up times will be confirmed to ensure the boat can leave promptly for 5pm. or larger groups can arrive at the dock area where they will be met by the guide and escorted onto the boat
5pm the boat leaves
Step aboard the Mekong Tara Prince as we set off down the Tonle River taking in the sights of the city from a different perspective, enjoying the breeze away from the noise and heat of Phnom Penh. We sail down past the Royal Palace and the banks of Phnom Penh riverside watching the sunset over the city as we turning round into the Mekong River at 3 river junctions . There we pass some of the floating villages passing fishing boats, farms and seeing another side of Cambodia that seems far removed from life in Phnom Penh. We then slowly cruise back seeing the city transform as it lights up in neon ready for the nightlife to swing into action. All this is from the comfort of the top decks of the boat enjoying the included BBQ and free flow drinks.
7:30pm: the boat docks back at the riverside.
All food is MSG free, cooked on the BBQ and where oil is used we use only vegetable oil. BBQ consists of Pork Ribs, Chicken Wings, Chicken Kebabs and Fruits.
Relax on the rivers with the hectic boat traffic and the noisy shore sounds at a distance. Enjoyable cool drink of your choice and grill food and fruit while the sun sets and all the city lights make a colourful experience.

Excellent experience!! Honestly when i saw this boat, i thought 'small'. but captain is very friendly and BBQ was good. we really enjoyed conversation with other group and that was our highlight of this cruise. there is only one table so we number of people sit together and have food and alcohol. we had a great time together and i will never forget this lovely cruise!

We had a great tour of the Mekong River. Summit the tour guide has good english and knowledge of the area. Food was nice and fresh. A great experience.

Unfortunately the picture did not match the boat. Was disappointed however the guide was very knowledgeable about current events in different countries. BBQ and drinks as advertised.

A very exciting experience, Tim picked up us at our hotel on time and give us all details during the cruise. Food was delicious and the sunset amazing. A really good experience on the Mekong river!
