On this 2-hour Sunset Dinner Cruise, enjoy the sunset, listen to live traditional Khmer music, coast past floating villages, see the Royal Palace, and see Phnom Penh skyline from a different perspective. You'll also enter the point where the Tonle Sap, Mekong, and Bassac rivers meet. Our Khmer and Western all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet is prepared on the boat using fresh, local, organic ingredients, with no chemicals or MSG; while offering vegetarian and vegan options. Full bar, cocktails, coffee, and a la carte menu is also available for purchase.
Your journey will begin with free pickup inside Phnom Penh. Upon boarding you will receive a free Sunset Cocktail, a Cambo Cruise original. Departing at approximately 5:00pm, you'll be cruising along the Phnom Penh riverfront while enjoying the subtle sounds of live traditional Khmer music on the upper-deck. You can also view the scenery from the main deck for a more cozy experience near the bar. After passing the Royal Palace we will journey to the junction of the Tonle Sap, Mekong, and Bassac rivers. Up the Mekong River you will see floating villages and fishing families living on their house boats. Along the shores of Silk Island is where you will see the sunset over Phnom Penh in the distance. The sunset is the highlight of the journey.
Dinner is served after sunset. An all-you-can-eat buffet made from fresh, local, organic food that is stored, prepped, and cooked fresh daily on our boat in our stainless steel kitchens, never prepared on land hours before, and definitely not on a rusty charcoal grill. No food is frozen, nor shipped in from other countries. No fish from the river is served, ever. All original sauces are made onboard. Salad, spring rolls, organic brown rice, curry, fruit, fresh bread, sandwiches, and a variety BBQ with Texas style BBQ and Asian teriyaki sauce is served. There are low-carb, vegetarian, vegan, and halal options available. If you choose the "cruise only" option, our buffet and an a la carte menu is available for purchase.
The bar has spirits from around the world. Most any traditional cocktails can be made, but be sure and try one of many original signature cocktails, satisfaction guaranteed. Local and imported beers, as well as red and white wines by the glass or carafe. Fresh, locally grown coffee beans are ground just before brewing to ensure fantastic espresso, and coffee.
After dinner, we cruise down the Mekong River before turning up the Tonle Sap to take in the Phnom Penh riverfront skyline after dark. This perspective is stunning, only to be seen like this by boat. After passing under the Japanese Friendship Bridge we return to port. The bar will stay open, and you are free to stay and enjoy the river views.
The Cambo Cruise boat is a new vessel that seats 75 people. It's a wooden Traditional Cambodian design with modern touches. It is equipped with two commercial quality kitchens, men’s and women's toilets, running water from fresh water tanks, and a water filtration system for clean, purified drinking water. Hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction are our priorities. You can feel safe knowing that our boat is licensed, inspected, and has staff that are well trained in safety and first-aid procedures. Flotation devices, safety equipment, and fire extinguishers on board. We are confident that no other boat in Phnom Penh can offer you all of these things.

Nice evening, not great, but good. The buffet was very varied and tasty, but not outstanding. The entertainment was nice and the music was not intrusive. We had a man propose to his girlfriend, who said yes, and that was special. Nice views from the top deck. This review isn't glowing, but I was glad that I went on the cruise.

Had a great time. If you have an evening to spare this is quite a nice way to spend it. The staff are very friendly and will chat to you about your life.. I think because there was only 12 people that day there was a little pressure to purchase drinks but if you said no thank you they did not push any further which was appreciated. The food was above average.

Nice way to spend a night in Phnom Penh. Right from the tutu pick up, the steep stairs from the riverside to the boat and friendly staff the night was a great experience. The staff were very helpful pointing out everything of interest as well as sharing information about the people of Phnom Peng and themselves honestly when asked. It was a gentle cruise with local music being play and lots of opportunities for photos. The buffet was plentiful and freshly made on the boat. Highly recommended

Was average. There was no coverage of what the river means, the history, locations of monuments along the river. Was basically a drink-a-thon. Food was ok. Over commercialized boat. Cocktails were ok. If you go during a storm/rain - there is no wind or rain protection.

I thought this was a tremendously good value. There were just six of us on the boat. The two Cambodian musicians played some really lovely stuff as we watched the sun set. Staff couldn and #39;t have been nicer and made an effort to chat with everyone and talk about Cambodia. Food was very good.

This tour was not very exciting really. I was disappointed to be met by an American man, who obviously owned the tour . It would have felt a lot more authentic if it was run by Cambodians. However, the whole thing was a bit tame, you didn't really get to see much of the sunset and the meal was mediochre. I would not go again.

No coats and only 2 umbrellas. _br/_ Top floor leaked to main cabin._br/_ Wine was disgusting. Threw it overboard. _br/_ Picked up and taken home in a tuktuk. Expected a car for both journeys.

The crew could not do enough for us to ensure we had a great time. Good views of the Tonle Sac and Mekong Rivers with plenty of photo opportunities. Food was plentiful and delicious and the Cambodian live music was a great change to a karaoke machine pumping out the latest hits - far more relaxing and enjoyable. Just note though that the transport provided is only to the jetty to board the boat, not from. They will arrange the return, but you will need to pay the tuk-tuk driver yourself - something we found out as we got out of the tuk-tuk.
