Situated along the southern end of Thailand's coast in the Andaman Sea, you will find one of the most idyllic tropical locations on earth - the islands of Ko Phi Phi. Made famous by the Hollywood movie starring Leonardo di Caprio - The Beach. A day trip to the Phi Phi Islands is easy and a popular tour from either Phuket or Krabi.
On this sightseeing tour you will cruise by express ferry from Phuket to Phi Phi Don. Depending on the conditions you should arrive at the Phi Phi Islands around 10:30am.
Upon arrival to Phi Phi Don, the largest of the two islands found at Ko Phi Phi, there will be ample free time for you to use at your leisure for swimming and snorkeling amongst the coral or just relaxing on the white sand beaches, soaking up the sunshine.
Lunch is included in this tour and will be served at a local restaurant at midday. Around mid afternoon you will board the ferry for the journey back to Phuket.
Pretty easy and no hassle tour. Wish they gave us more time at Koh Phi Phi though. Would probably book a different tour next time.

They were super late in departing, the boat was overcrowded with no place to sit. The restaurant where the lunch is served looked horrible and so dis the food so we passed on that, hired a thai boat and went to Maya beach where this tour does not take you, they just pass by... not so happy overall

Nice tour, a bit shorter on the island than I hoped because the ferry takes a long time. Snorkeling was great. The food was probably the worst I had on my trip (Not saying it was bad, just everting else I had blew it away). It's worth the price I would say.

Phi Phi island is a nice place to see, but to make it a great trip for the day. Don't go by ferry or express ferry. It is so slow, it feels like the trip is one long boring ferry ride. Find a tour which uses a speedboat. I will do that next time.

The tour must be very nice but we had a rainy day, cloudy and windy that made it bad. The ferry moved too much both ways, many people got terrible sick... And we couldn't go to Phi Phi Ley...

This was just a ferry ride over. The ferry was packed and they wanted us to sit on the floor until we complained. Phi phi was beautiful.

The ferry trip over is 2 hours so we paid the extra couple of dollars and sat in first class. A definite must do! Free drinks and goodies not to mention lots of room to stretch out and sleep during the long trip over. Make sure you reserve your spot for the ride back as it fills up quickly and you might miss out. The lunch at Phi Phi was exceptional and the snorkelling off shore was really fun and an experience not to be missed!

Very bad trip. Tour guide we did not see at all. Absolutely to lie - that there is a Hollywood film ... This movie was filmed elsewhere. Maya beach .... showed us very remotely. Snorkelling equipment - absolutely invalid. On the same island actually spent only 3 hours !!! No full-day excursions. I not recommend to anyone!

Travellers should be made aware that allocated beach OR snorkelling time is ONLY 50 minutes, followed by a lovely buffet lunch. The approx travel time used up over 7 of the 10 advertised hours (including hotel transfers). I and #39;d recommend booking a speedboat trip there instead.

Not bad but not great for the price I suppose. You only stop at 1 island and pick up people from another island. There and #39;s no direction once you get to the island, you kind of don and #39;t know what to do with no signs or directions. A lot of people missed out on snorkelling because it was so badly managed.

The island seemed lovely and the lunch buffet was very nice but we were only on land for 1 hour 40 minutes and the rest travelling. Quite a long journey for such little time spent there. Would have liked to have seen more of the island

A bit disappointing. The noise pollution from all the long tail boats arriving at once, coupled with the pushy stall holders on the island didn't make for a great experience. You spend around 5 hours travel time for the whole day tour, with around 30 - 40 mins only at each site. Re-think booking!

A word of advice to travellers to Phuket: do not catch the Tour East fast ferry to the Phi Phi Islands for a day trip. _br/_ On paper the trip promised: a visit the iconic island of Ko Phi Phi - made famous by the Hollywood movie - The Beach snorkelling in the warm crystal waters, being surrounded by colourful tropical marine life and limestone cliffs and to enjoy a Thai lunch at a local restaurant on the island of Ko Phi Phi Don._br/_ We chose the ferry, booked through Viators, rather than the more expensive speedboat trip and it turned out to be a bad choice._br/_ First the hotel pick-up was 40 minutes late and then the ferry was 30 minutes late leaving the pier. The ferry itself was huge and it really was a public transport ferry, loaded with Island holiday makers with their luggage as well as the tour people. It was stuffy inside, but we were lucky enough to find our way to the bow of the boat and stay in the fresh air._br/_ The trip to our destination took three hours, because it was the second port of call. When we did arrive off the island we were hastily transferred to another boat which headed to the shore. There was a nice sandy beach there, but we didnt get chance to sit on it because we were hustled away into another boat a local fishing boat to rush off to the snorkelling spot. _br/_ They turned out to be about a couple of hundred metres off shore._br/_ But I like snorkelling and was looking forward to swimming over the coral among the fish. Then came the shock, There was no live coral and nothing more than a shoal of tiny yellow and black angel fish roaming around. On top of that my snorkel leaked!_br/_ My wife and I spent the hour treading water and chatting to a couple of English girls until it was time to get back into the boat._br/_ And thereby hangs another tale. The steel rungs of the ladder reached about 10 centimetres into the water and I found it impossible to lift my leg high enough to reach the bottom rung. Found this tour disappointing. We were told to be waiting for the bus at 6.45am but it was nearly an hour later before we were picked up. The trip to Phi Phi Islands was long both bus and then boat ride that by the time we got there we only had just over 3 hours to actually spend on the Island and once you take out lunch even less time. Was also disappointed that you only got to snorkel for 45 minutes, would have preferred if they had given us the equipment for the length of time we were there so that we could snorkel as we pleased.

This tour was a waste of time and money. We got on the ferry and headed to Phi Phi islands. We got to the port but stayed on the ferry.The next stop was for snorkeling.. In a high traffic area. It was safe but not a lot to see! It was too crowded. After lunch (wasn't even good)we headedback..boring

This tour was well worth it. Very organised from pickup to drop off. Good ferry ride in a big boat, great lunch and snorkelling equipment available. Great service also from service centre when I had to rearrange a date change.

The islands themselves are beautiful, granted a bit dirty and in some areas covered in trash. However, the tour itself was a bit confusing. There were several different tours on the same ferry so it was difficult to figure out where to actually get off. All in all though, it was an excellent trip.

Not what I was expecting, just a dropp off to a beach and a quick 15 minute snorkeling not to mention how bad the "free lunch" was, I had to pay to get somewhat a decent meal. Overall, a "meh" experience.

This was an outstanding trip for both of us. The pickup arrangements were on time. The travel to and from the ferry wharf was smooth and the actual trip to Phi Phi Island was excellent. It's a MUST DO for anyone travelling to Phuket. Snorkelling amongst the tropical fish was the highlight for us both. Very memorable.

To change my pick up hotel, from Bangkok I tried to call the travel agency in Phuket and could never connect, I contacted viator costumer service by e-mail, I got late response and not very professional and help full, I called the customer service in the USA long distance call expensive, and the agent said He would call the travel agent and change the hotel. He left waiting 20 minutes on the phone and did got talk to me again...

A satisfactory trip to Ko Phi Phi (Don island?) although there was alot of travelling time to get there (taxi was late on pick up and asked for more money) and the knock on timings coming back meant this was a 10hr round trip for 2hrs on the beach. However, snorkelling and lunch were provided and were again satisfactory. I would have preferred the whole trip was privately boated as the big express ferry felt too crowded to be able to see very much.

This would have to be one of the worst tours I have been on in Thailand. This is the second time I have visited Thailand and second trip to Phi Phi Island. They had indicated they would pick us up at a 7 am and to be there 5 mins early they turned up at 7.35 am. When we got to the ferry there was hardly any seats left. We spent most of the day on the boat dropping other passengers off. The only time spend on Phi Phi Island was 1.5 hours and in this time you had to have a lunch which consisted of a 100 people running at a an average buffet. On our return trip it took about another 3 hours to get back again picking up other people. This is a Passenger Ferry and no way an express. On our return trip to the hotel the driver yelled at us for sitting at the front of the bus and that they had booked 11 people on a 10 seater bus. Please also be aware that if you are booking and paying for children be prepared to have them on your lap on both transfers as they do not allow for seats for children.

This basically is a ferry taking people across to the island to stay with a bit of a bolt on. You spend 2 hours on the ferry each way and then get an hour for snorkelling and an hour for lunch on an island and then get to see where the beach film was made from approx. quarter of a mile away
