Be dazzled by this marvellous square which is dominated by the Cathedral (where you will visit the indoor part a model of the distinctive Pisa Romanesque architecture, the celebrated Leaning Tower, the round-shaped Baptistery surrounded by its suggestive columned arcades and its “Camposanto”, originally a cemetery, an extraordinary quadrangular cloister, delimiting with its marble façade the Square to the North.
Then, both groups meet back at a pre-arranged point near the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Head to the entrance and then walk up the 294-step spiral staircase to reach the top.
After spending time at the top of the tower, admiring the views of Pisa, head back down the stairs to finish your tour.
Please note: If you have no head for heights, walking difficulties or aversion to enclosed spaces, the Leaning Tower of Pisa climb probably won’t be for you. Use the time to relax at leisure in Cathedral Square, instead.
Please note: In case of long queue, if you cannot visit the interior of the Cathedral, you will be offered a guided visit of Piazza dei Cavalieri.

Good tour - we saw inside the Cathedral. Be aware that there is a certain amount of waiting before you get your chance to climb the tower - this was an incredible experience. My 12 year old son loved it!

The only reason to book this walking tour of Pisa is for the skip the line pass. Even with this tour you are still assigned a time to enter the tower, you do not truly skip any lines. There was nothing else that was of use for this tour.

The arrangements were a bit shambolic to start with. There were nearly one hundred people joining from different tours and the three guides had difficulty giving people their radio guides. Once the tour started it was well worth it and our lady guide was very informative and helpful

I came to Pisa to go up the tower. The tour was a little slow getting starting as we had to wait for another group to arrive, then get sorted out into two smaller groups. Once things were finally organized though it ent very well. The guide was very good and got us to the Tower in good time to be able to visit the tower. The view from the top of the Leaning Tower makes everything worthwhile, even the winding walk up! Great trip!

Pisa was a nice place to visit, but to be honest, once you have done the Leaning Tower there isn't much more to see or do I know thats a bad thing to say The tour was great - you meet under the arch near McDonalds - the tour just turn up as they must be doing something else beforehand. Our guide was very informative and led us around well. Then you climb the tower - to the very top - it was great although difficult on the legs!! Great fun! You must do this in PISA!

In a rush to get there we left our Camera in the hotel and the cell phone was dead, the guide went well above and beyond to find us a disposable camera so we could could still capture our experience, would rate her higher if it was possible

This was an interesting tour. We found out some really interesting facts about the history of the area, which helped make the buildings come to life. Perhaps a little over-priced, however, given that the actual guided tour was less than an hour. Still, we had fun.

Do not buy this Tour - you only get the cheaper one Leaning Tower of Pisa only and NO Cultural Walking Tour. You can see Leaning Tower of Pisa without paying additional money for a nonexistent tour.

Nice review of Miracle Square in Pisa. I actually saw and learned more than I expected about the location. The guide was friendly and funny and knowledgeable. Although I'm not sure I would return to Pisa, this was a nice way to see it and get the most out of it for a single quick trip.

We were very disappointed that our guide left with the group 15 minutes before we were supposed to meet. We realized when we were taken up to them that we had passed them earlier. We thought it was very rude of them to leave without us especially as we got to the meeting point at the designated time. Because of this, we did not have whisperers so had to stand right next to the guide to hear.

This is the only time I have felt it necessary to criticise any Viator tour. There were about 22 of us with earpieces my partners didn't work to begin with! There really wasn't a lot to see and the timing of the visit to the actual tower was a full hour and more after closure of the tour. We didn't wait!

The tour was interesting however it was shorter than the promotion indicated. Your advertisement of a 1-1/2 hr tour lasted only half that time, and since the advertisement indicated 'learn about the baptistry' we incorrectly understood it to include visiting the baptistery and the cemetery which it did not. It was very misleading. Also finding the meet-up location was confusing.

Maybe the best tour we had, with a guide whose name I cannot place right now who was nothing short of stupendous. He imparted so much intrigue and history, including a long-running battle between Pisa and Florence, that we did not want it to end, but it did, with our climb to the top of the famous leaning tower.

Very disappointing. We booked a 90 minute tour for 6 people that was to start at 3:00 pm. Due the late arrival of a larger group, we got started late and only spent 5 minutes in the church. Not worth the money or the wait.

The walking tour focused on area surrounding the tower. As entrance to tower itself was pre-booked to manage crowd control, sufficient time was given to both climb the tower and to take in the view from the top before descending. One challenge - where as most of the tour leaders had a very visible identifying symbol, our tour leaders only wore a lanyard identifying company's name making it difficult to find them in the crowd as majority of participants were arrivals from cruise ship and did not have struggle to find out where to go. For those of us who walked to meet the starting point, it was difficult to assess as area very crowded.

We took this tour from Pisa and had to wait for the arrival of the bus from Florence, which was bringing more folks to join the tour. The wait was short, but it was very difficult to locate the tour operator, who advised us of the delay and where to wait. The tour lasted all of about 30 minutes, as they took us through the PIsa Duomo Cathedral and around the exterior of the Baptistry. You must purchase a separate ticket to tour the inside of the Baptistry. There was really no cultural walking tour of Pisa included in this tour, as it only tours the exterior of the Baptistry, the inside of the Cathedral and provided you with a ticket for the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We had thought the walking tour would take you around Pisa, as described, and introduce you to a few of the local buildings and areas. The Leaning Tower of Pisa was amazing, but you have to unload all of your carry alongs, including any small purses. As I was not comfortable leaving all of my passports, credit cards and cash at the counter, I did not make use of this ticket. My husband and two teenage sons enjoyed going up the tower and it was certainly spectacular to see, even from the outside for me.

Disappointing tour of Pisa. I thought this was going to be a cultural tour more than a tour of the church and tour. We were shuffled into another group and we only went through the church and tour. You can go through the church by yourself and the tower paying of course. I was really disappointed in this tour.

Our guide Roberto was brilliant, very knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately we weren't able to get into the Cathedral, no ones fault, a service was being conducted so rightly so we couldn't go in but it did mean the tour finished rather earlier than planned and we were left to our own devices on the Tower climb.

Très mauvaise organisation. Il était demandé de venir 15 minutes en avance et en fait on m'a fait attendre un groupe venant de Florence arrivé 20 minutes après l'horaire de début du tour. Du coup le guide n'a pas fait la visite des quartiers historiques. Je suis très déçu de cette première expérience et ai le sentiment de m'être fait avoir. Je ne conseillerais pas ce tour.

The beginning of the tour was quite disorganized with the different language guides and the headsets and the people clamoring a bit crazy. This being said, once our tour got started, we had a great guide. I think her name was Chiarra sp She was knowledgable, cheerful and mindful of the hot hot sun and kept getting our group into the shade! Would still recommend this tour highly.
