See the highlights of Pisa on a 1-hour walking tour, led by an expert local guide. Learn about monuments like Duomo di Pisa and Campo Santo and, of course, the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa – a UNESCO-listed site. Your informative guide will take you on a thorough guided walking tour of Piazza dei Miracoli and its monuments which are called “miracles” because of their incredible beauty and uniqueness
Meet your guide and set off on a leisurely walk to Cathedral Square. The beautiful walled square is said to be the heart of Pisa, and as you explore, your guide will talk to you about its history and monuments. Admire Duomo di Pisa, Campo Santo, Pisa Baptistry, and, of course, the Leaning Tower of Pisa – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Learn how Pisa Baptistry’s construction spanned a period of nearly 200 years, resulting in an array of architectural styles. Stop for photos next to the elegant landmark, and then walk across the square to Campo Santo, an old cemetery that was originally built as a church. Continue to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and pose for photos next to it as your guide explains its famous tilt.
You will be dazzled by this marvelous square which is dominated by the Cathedral, where you will visit the indoor part, a model of the distinctive Pisa Romanesque architecture, the celebrated Leaning Tower, the round-shaped Baptistery surrounded by its suggestive columned arcades and its “Camposanto”, originally a cemetery, an extraordinary quadrangular cloister, delimiting with its marble façade the Square to the North.
The commentary of your guide will be particularly focused on the Leaning Tower, one of the wonders of the world. You will be enthralled by the history and the leaning structure of the Tower which stirs the imagination of all visitors.
Your tour finishes at Piazza dei Miracoli and after hearing about its sights, bid your guide goodbye.
Hi, I wrote to you on Saturday to say that we had only 30 minutes of guide as there was a coach that the guide was more focused on than my friend and I. We had only 12 minutes in the Cathedral and we missed out on seeing other things in Pisa as we thought that our tour would take in the sights but had to leave that day to catch a plane so had no extra time to see other sights. We are not happy with this tour as we paid 29.44.

We had looked forward to this tour and were staying in Pisa. This is the first tour with Viator that left us thinking was that it. The tour started over half an hour late whilst quite a number of people at the meeting point waited for a coach to arrive from Florence. When it started anticipation of the historical facts was awaited by us. A stop was made in front of the cathedral for some info. Inside the cathedral we had a five minute chat in front of lecture sculpture. Then given free time to look around ourselves. We assumed we would be taken around the inside of this amazing building to have a lot more of its history explained but no. We were all asked to exit the cathedral and follow the guide towards the leaning tower where we were given scant facts then told it was the end of the tour unless you had included the tower climb. This tour lasted 40 mins!? somewhat short of the advertised time. It left us feeling very disappointed, the first time with a Viator tour. The guide seemed disinterested and this is also the first time we have not given the guide a tip. Viator should look into this tour

Although a bit confusing at the meeting point as to which guide we were with, it was a very informative tour. Our guide spoke very good English and told us everything we needed to know and more. All in all good value for money.

The guide was really very nice and as all viator guides seemed to really knew her stuff. The walking tour was an interesting way to see the main features of Pisa and even though it poured with rain we enjoyed it, the good thing about Pisa is that almost every attraction is in walking distance and the leaning tower, Baptistry and Cathedral are just beautiful far more so than in photographs. We like viator and use them whenever in Italy, it's a good way to learn that bit extra.

First of all we had to wait 25 minutes before the tour started waiting for a busload of others who joined the tour. No inside visits of sights. Waste of money and time .

this was just OK, not great. Does not include going inside any of the buildings.

A very disappointing tour run by CAF for whom Viator are agents. We were not taken to Piazza dei Cavalieri and the guide denied that this was included in the tour. The tour lasted 40 minutes instead of the advertised 90. We were only given directional indication for the cemetery and a very brief comment on the baptistery. Most of the time in the cathedral was "own time" rather than proper "guided time". Further, Viator have not responded to my e-mail complaint. I shall not use Viator again!

I accept that this tour was basic, but in total it lasted some 40/45 minutes. Other members of the tour agreed. Perhaps there is not much else to see in Pisa, but this tour as such should be taken off the menu. I have done Florence with you and that was much much better.

Tour was shorter than it was advertised. I Did not get to see that much of Pisa. Anyone could have read something about the tower and other places and walked this short distance and save the money...disappointed...
