The ride was great, along with the history of the railroad. Good weather so the views and scenery were quite good.

Excellent trip, one of the best during our travels in Australia. Great blend of viewing the rainforest canopy, rainsforest activities and a relaxing railway return. Great for familiy's and not too intense. Very well organised.

Great day out - scenic railway to Kuranda, then skyrail back down again. Didn't book any other element of the package, but the aforementioned combination only allowed us time for lunch in somewhat touristic Kuranda. Overall great value, would recommend.

The Kuranda Scenic Railway trip is an excellent day out. We caught the train from Cairns to Kuranda and then got the Sky-rail back. A little bit rushed so don't expect to see all the attractions of Kuranda in one day. We saw the Kuranda Birdworld and Kuranda Koala attractions which were both wonderful. The train trip was interesting with many bridges and tunnels to navigate. The Sky Rail was great with the view of the rainforest and waterfalls to enjoy. Not to be missed.

A great day out. This trip proved better than we expected. The coach driver was very well organised, as various people were doing activities in a different order. all the relevant information was made very clear. The train journey is magnificent, very scenic and a sociable ride. There are a variety of activities available in Kuranda, shopping, wildlife, butterflies and river trips and many places to eat. The cable car down provided magnificent views..

Very enjoyable excursion both the train trip and the cable car the views were spectacular however there was too much time available for the market at the top 4hours which was unnecessary especially in the extreme heat.

One of best things we did in our three week trip to Australia and New Zealand. Great combination of seeing the rainforest, scenery, shopping, wildlife habitat, and aborigine culture.

Both the train and cable car rides were very good. Personally I did not think there was that many interesting things to do or see once you got to Kuranda. On the cable car ride down be sure to get out at the stops and have a look around.

Amazing trip but didn't like the Skyrail. Don't do it if you don't like heights!

My wife and I stayed in Port Douglas for nine days. What a great time we had, without doubt this would have to rate as one of the best holidays we have ever had. The accomodation, the food, the town and sight seeing did not give us any time to be sorry we came. During our stay we did three full day excursions one of which was the Kuranda Scenic Railway Day Trip. I booked this online with Viator, It was so easy and prompt. They gave precise details to arrange times and pickup points._br/_ On the day the coach arrived on time and from then on everthing ran like clockwork. We were taken to the Skyrail Station in Cairns, what an experience We were taken over the rainforest to Kuranda then on to the Rainforest Station and Tjapukai where we spent the rest of the day discovering our forest and animals._br/_ We then took the Kurand Railway back to our coach for the trip back to Port Douglas. Unlike other coach tours we have done at no time did we feel rushed off our feet. Although my wife did not have a great deal of time to shop at the Kuranda Markets this was not a problem as we drove back up a few days later._br/_ The tour was very well organised and I thought it was very good value for the money. Well done

This day trip was fab. After being picked up we were firstly up in the gondolas high above the forest, felt very priviledged. Walking through the village then to the 'duck' was great, knowledgable guide, then the very good buffet lunch.Welcoming guide directed us to everywhere, Koalas, Maori presentation through dance etc and then we had a go at throwing the boomerang! Returned by scenic railway (lovely station) back down to reality! Highlight, the gondola.

Brilliant ! The scenery was breathtaking, the Skyride rates as one of the most exciting experiences I have had. The organisation of the trip was executed with military precision, which helped the day to run smoothly allowing time for me to take full advantage of every minute. A must do for everyone visiting The area.

Unfortunately the weather was not on our side the day we did this trip, view from the sky rail because of this was impaired, the so called barbecue was like a feast excellent food.

My boyfriend and I had a fabulous time! We loved the zoo, the Army Ducks, the Aboriginal songs, and the skyrail! The only negative we had was that the day was very regimented. We did not really get to explore the city of Kuranda at all because the train going back to Cairns eparted early. We would definitely recommend this day trip to our friends though!

Kuranda rail and aboriginal park worth the trip. But very disappointed that skyrail was closed just before our go and even more disappointed that viator have still not responded to my email and reimbursed my husband and myself the cost of this part of my tour which . Now in Thailand for next couple of days and had every intention of booking some trips with you but of course that will not be happening now .

We did the Sky, Rainforest and Rail trip. The skyrail was the highlight of the tour. The views were briliiant. However, the train journey was very underwhelming. The views were great in places, but not very interesting for the majority of the trip. Kuranda itself doesn't have much to offer, and the tour didn't give enough free time to allow us to visit the butterfly sanctuary (we had 45 mins in the town altogether and it's a 10 min walk from the skyrail to the main part of the town).

WOW the views from the cable car are great, over the rainforest, stopping at two stations and looking at the different plants and views to the dam. The area at the top of the island was full of stores, etc. but we didn't have enough time to look at everything. Lunch, aboriganul dancers very good, the wildlife Jack the ripper was enormous and now I know why he lives by himself. The train ride down was quaint and you could see the cable car on the opposite mountain. Lovely views of the waterfall and Cairns below.

What a great tour not to be missed so much to do a chance not to be missed to see and learn so much about Australia and its wild life and habitat.

This was such a marvellous experience. I didn't expect to have so much included in the day trip. Aboriginee Dancing, cable car ride through the rain forest and wonderful scenic railway trip back down from village of Kuranda. Coped with everything in spite of being disabled. Good value trip!

A lot of activities but, poorly organized. You get on a bus from your hotel, handed a voucher and schedule and left to fend for yourself. Multiple connections are needed and very little time for error. I have been traveling for over 25 years and had a problem finding where to go to pick up on connections. Once you make one mistake you will ruin the rest of your day on this one. It would help if they actually had someone to guide you at least at the switch points. Instead you just get dropped off by yourself with a map.

This was a brilliant day out with lots of different things to do. The scenery was beautiful. My only negative comment is that we were rushed back to the cable car when infact there was enough time to browse around the village for a little longer and still make our transfer back to the hotel. Other than that I totally recommend it!

The scenery was breathtaking from both the train and the cable car. We were given only 40 minutes to be in Kuranda before the bus left for the rainforest. We would have loved time for the butterfuly sanctuary. Very sorry we missed that. The rainforest station is very nice but a bit touristy.

Unfortunately, it was a cloudy, rainy day and many of the best views were obscured. There was plenty of time in Kuranda, but not quite enough time at the Skyrail stops to walk into the rainforest. The Tjapukai segment was outstanding except for the explanation about the bush foods and medicinal plants which was rushed and not very understandable. Learning to throw the boomerang was a highlight.

A good day with lots of things to see and do. Efficient pickup and drop-off. Friendly helpful driver and guide. Very well organised. The train and Skyrail were stunning journeys. Tjapukai was well structured, with plenty of things to do and see. Perhaps a little too long in Kuranda. It's a fairly interesting place, but you can 'do' it in 1.5 hours. I would recommend doing this tour; it was run by a very reputable company, and I felt that it was a quality event.

The train ride was very scenic and Skyrail had great views out to the ocean. It's so quiet floating above the rainforest canopy. The highlight though was Tjapukai, it was interesting hearing the stories and about the culture of the Aboriginal people of the area.
