A little disappointed at the lack of color in the coral. Otherwise, the trip was a nice day out on the water. Interesting commentary from the marine biologist that took us out.

Went early December as season coming to an end so boat only 30 passengers as opposed to 100 or so. Crew incredibly friendly and helpful, equipment ready to use, explanation and supervision for snorkeling excellent. Glass bottomed boat with marine biologist, as with a walk round the low isles._br/_ Tea breaks, lunch provided on board, superb day out. Highly recommend

The overall trip wasn't that bad....the crew on our boat were great, the trip to the reef was good however, we had a very very low tide on the day we went to the Low Isles so we couldn't really see much coral....disappointed to say the least!

This was a great day out and the only disappointment was the limited visibility while snorkelling on the reef.

This trip was excellent - once we arrived at the Low Isles. Unfortunately it was very windy and many people suffered with sea sickness, including me! _br/_ However, once we arrived at the Low Isles, the trip improved. Our lunch was very good and very plentiful. The sea was rather cloudy because of the weather but we managed to see some coral from the glass bottomed boat. We had a tour round the island before boarding the boat for our return. Although the sea was still quite choppy on the way back no one suffered with sea sickness. Another excellent trip.

All good, but very hot in November. Unfortuantly once you go to the outer reef, do a cruise looking at the crocidiles , there is not much else except if your wife likes fishing. On a positive note, all the restuarents and pubs sold good food at reasonable rates.

Superb boat trip and view of the reef and fish at The Low Isles. Quicksilver catamaran was very comfortable and whole trip well organised. We were I initially aprehensile about snorkeling but did not use the glass bottom boat and snorkeled all the time. Good lunch provided too. Thoroughly recommend this trip.

We thought we would get some instruction in actual snorkelling when we got to the Low Isles but we didn't. Maybe the wording of the info on the trip needs to make that clear. The cruise stated that it was for people who hadn't snorkelled before so it would have been good to get some instruction in the water.

Incredible! Fantastic fun-filled day! Staff were amazing, informative and friendly. We saw green sea turtles, reef sharks, clams and an amazing array of fish. Snorkel or cruise the reef in a glass-bottom boat, or just laze on the beach. Great day all round. Good for any fitness level and for kids. Do as much or as little as you like.

Really recommend this day trip. The staff were excellent as they took care of a few people suffering from sea sickness. They do offer sea sick pills to those who are unsure how they will be. My wife found it hard going on the way out but was fine going back. Even so it is a wonderful experience with plenty to see and do. The island is lovely and we enjoyed seeing all the sea life including reef sharks coming close to the boat.

It is not good for snorkelling as the water is shallow and the visibility is poor.

We picked one of the worst days to do this trip - windy and with quite a swell on the sea - even some of the crew seemed glad to get off the boat! Those who snorkelled seemed to get the best out of the day, so if you haven't snorkelled before it would be worth having a practice somewhere beforehand. Apparently the glass bottomed boat didn't give us as good a view. The short tour of the island with the marine biologist was interesting.

Very well organised. The staff were really helpful and made sure we got the most out of our trip. Perfect for beginners like us. We got to swim with turtles, sharks and lots of different fish. Amazing experience!

A 45 minute boat trip out to this beautiful island. Whilst the boat was full it doesn't take many to fill it up, but on arrival there were other boats moored in the same area so that part of the reef was very busy, and obviously a little murky with so many swiming in thew same area. Watch for the tides, when we arrived the tide was on the way out and by the afternoon snorkeling over the reef was a little difficult.

This was the highlight of all the activities I persued in Port Douglas. Having never snorkeled before I found the the crew were extremely helpful. The onboard Marine Biologist helped us identify different species of coral and marine life. The snorkeling off the Low Isles was amazing. The lunch on board was excellent. The crew very welcoming and friendly (even remembering my name!) Can't wait to go back!

very nice tour with great experience snorkeling. However just a little remark: it is very difficult to snorkel from the beach and I prefer the trip to the pontoon as it was on the first trip.

The Great Barrier Reef is definitely a must see !!!!!_br/_ Beautiful trip out to the reef on a comfortable boat. Water was crystal clear with gorgeous colorful fish in the water. Had a great complimentary lunch aboard with ample time to snorkel or spend time on the beach. _br/_ Don't forget camera for fotos of the reef ...something you will never forget !_br/_ Highly recommend this tour !!!

Tour was very organized, crew on the boat very friendly and helpful. Low Isles were beautiful and ride out and back was quite senic. However there were too many people on the boat and you had to wait in line to get off the boat, get on the glass bottom boat, get your lunch, and get back on the boat. Next time I would pick a tour with fewer people!

This was a fantastic trip which we would thoroughly recommend. The staff were relaxed and knowledgable and even made a small detour so we could see a whale and her calf. We snorkelled with turtles and the wonders of the reef and saw lemon sharks and dolphins too. The only downside was that we paid $90 more through viator than we would have if we'd booked direct and had no response from the company when this was queried.

A great way to spend the day. Picked up at hotel and driven to the boat. Once on board the staff very friendly attentative and helpful. A marine biologist gave a talk on the area and the local wildlife. Safety run through was give for those snorkelling. The access to the water was fabulous for all ages and fitness levels and and the water was perfect. Take or hire a underwater camera. It is well worth it.

Was great, staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I would change would be how many small boats were used to transport us to the island. There were only 2 and it took a long time for everyone to get from the sail boat to the island. Apart from that it was great many thanks _br/_ Regards pam

Sadly we expected a little better. While the staff were all very friendly and very helpful, the whole island and trip was a bit of a let down. I was hoping for a great day out but unfortunately the weather was horrible. The sea was so rough, most passengers were sick on the way out and not much to do on the island other than snorkel.

Really enjoyed the snorkelling and felt that the day was very well run. Would have liked a little more information on our guided snorkel which didn't really seem to happen. Otherwise very good.
