I was initially excited about this stop, but after seeing many of these same animals in their natural habitat on other tours, it seemed sad to view them locked in a zoo. The kangaroos were huddled at the gate trying to get out as visitors came into the enclosures. You could purchase food to feed them, but they didn't seem to want it, perhaps due to so many people trying to feed them all day long. There was a bird some kind of owl? in the gift shop sitting on a perch and it fell onto the floor at one point. It just overall seemed pretty sad and touristy unfortunately.

I very much enjoyed my experience here. There are plenty of opportunities to interact with the animals. The animals were all very friendly, as were the people working there. You pay extra for a picture with a Koala but it's a great keepsake. I didn't know what to expect but this experience exceeded my expectations. I purchased the lunch option as well, but I personally did not think the lunch was very good. You can easily spend a half day here or more depending on how much interaction you want with the animals. Well worth the trip if you are in the area.

Nice place to wonder around, especially outside. Food was ok, but nice to get close to the birds and have them flying around.

Definitely a must-do while you're in Port Douglas! Nothing could beat the experience of being so up-close and personal to the many animals they have here and even more-so feeding them!! feed bag definitely recommended additional small fee It's nice to see the majority of animals roaming free and though it's not a huge park like Taronga Zoo, it is still a decent size to explore.

This place is a tropical rain forest. High Temperature and humidity. Plenty of things to do. We took a trip to the Great Barrier Reef and went snorkeling. The downtown area is very nice with plenty of shops and places to eat.

Great park. Very neat and well maintained. Loved holding a koala - so cute. I have the photo which I will treasure. The free wifi at the park was a nice bonus. Prices in the gift shop, including the photos with the koala were very reasonable. Easy transportation from the ship to the park.

Great lunch, beautiful birds. Touring the various eco-environments was interesting and very informative. Being able to interact with the animals freely was excellent
