4-Hour Semi-Private Oporto City Tour

Start through the main avenue, Aliados, considered the "Living Room" of the city with plenty of important monuments and Portuguese focus to celebrate. See Bolhão Market, the most emblematic market in the city of two floors used by locals for their daily needs.

Tour the major Oporto spots, passing by Batalha Square, and Santa Catarina Street, the most commercial artery of downtown Porto. This area is mainly reserved for pedestrians traffic. Have the opportunity to visit the famous and traditional Cafe Majestic, where JK Rowling spent much time writing the infamous Harry Potter book.

Be amazed when visiting the Lello Bookstore, with its unique historical and artistic value. See the Alongside Porto’s historical sites and some of the city's modern attractions:  Dom Luis I Bridge – an iron bridge that was engineered by one of the apprentices of Gustave Eiffel. Become amazed by the classic Rabelo´s boats (flat-bottomed cargo vessels) lined up along the quay. 

Afterwards, we are going to visit a typical and awarded Porto vineyard that you will have a guided visit to see how the process the famous Oporto wine and also in the end will have a wine tasting included in the tour.

Luis Morgaodo was our private tour guide for 4 hours. He was without a doubt the best tour guide we had in all of Portugal. My husband and I didn't have very much time in Porto, so this tour was our only opportunity to see the city. Luis not only told us the history of the main city attractions, he also told us the history of every building, neighborhood, hospital, school, etc. Porto is his city and he knows it extremely well. I can not praise him enough. He has excellent English and is extremely professional. He makes several stops along the way for great photo opportunities and he will also customize the tour for your desires. If my husband and I have the opportunity to go back to Porto, we will absolutely us Luis as our guide again.
