Cruise to the island of Capri from Positano, Praiano or Amalfi on a small-group day trip, aboard an intimately sized sightseeing boat! After leaving the Amalfi Coast, see the Faraglioni rock formations, skirt the Li Galli nature reserve and stop along the way to swim, snorkel and pay a visit to the famous Blue Grotto. Then, dock at Capri to enjoy free time for sightseeing, perhaps visiting Villa San Michele or the Gardens of Augustus at your own expense. Numbers are limited to 12 on this small-group cruise, ensuring a personalized experience.
Head to the Positano, Praiano or Amalfi port in the morning, and board your 33-foot (10-meter) boat. Then sit back, relax and enjoy a drink as your expert captain navigates your boat away from the Amalfi Coast.
When the picturesque seaside villages that dot this famous stretch of coastline slip from your view, stare out to sea and admire the private islands and natural reserve of Li Galli in the sea around you. Cross the southern end of the Bay of Naples toward Capri, and circumnavigate the chic little island, enjoying several stops along the way.
Use the stops to swim and snorkel in various coves and lagoons, snap photos of the famous Faraglioni rock formations and learn a bit about the island from your captain. Look out for Casa Malaparte, the Punta Carena lighthouse and Marina Piccola, a docking spot for luxury yachts. Stop to visit the popular Blue Grotto, once the private bathhouse of Roman Emperor Tiberius, if you wish. The entrance fee is at your own expense, but the incredible colors of the lagoon make the expense worthwhile.
Disembark at the main port of Capri and enjoy roughly four hours of free time to explore the island independently. Listen to recommendations and directions from your captain for local sights, activities and restaurants. Perhaps stroll through the gardens of Villa San Michele, visit the terraced Gardens of Augustus, ride the chairlift up to Mt Solaro or explore the area of Anacapri — it's up to you. All entrance fees, activities and food on the island are at your own expense.
After your time on Capri, reboard your boat and make your return journey back to the Amalfi Coast. Pass the marine park of Punta Campanella and stop to swim and snorkel again in a pretty bay in the area of Nerano. Finally, arrive back in Positano, Praiano or Amalfi in the early evening.
Incredible experience with the captain Francesco and our whole crew! Champagne, limoncello, beautiful views, music, and everything was perfect! I wish I could be back on the boat this weekend! This was an amazing tour. Very convenience pick up and drop off, pleasant funny hosts and wonderful views and memories. While the blue grotto is a bucket list item, it is a bit disappointing so think about that before venturing out for this portion of the trip hosts will gladly entertain you if you stay in the boat! Capri is a must add if you can add to your trip. Would highly recommend!

This was probably our most fun tour of our trip. The boat captain did an awesome job and we enjoyed the views around Positano, Capri and the Amalfi Coast. This was without a doubt the best way to see the sights along the coast. We met some great people on the boat and had an enjoyable time. We would definitely do this one again.

Every positive review on this tour is spot on! On of the most memorable tours that we took. The day was beautiful which added to the wonderful time. We had Capitan Pepe who made the whole experience such a pleasure. He was knowledgeable and shared his wisdom with all. The cooler of water bottles and Italian beer were a treat, and the shot of Pepe's homemade limoncello on the way back to Positano was perfect! We loved Capri and Anacapri. As another review said, you do have to get transportation to Anacapri but that proved to be no problem. The vans ran back and forth continuously. It cost us 15 euro per person, roundtrip. A must do and we will again!

Fun boat ride to and around Capri with some stops to allow people to swim/snorkel. There was an option to check out the famous blue grotto, but unfortunately the line was too long and we opted to not wait the hour for our turn. After a lap around Capri, we docked and had about 3 hours to explore Capri. Unfortunately, this felt like not enough time due to the crowd and long wait to ride a bus up to Anacapri and back down again... we were only able to ride up the chairlift to see Capri from the highest point of the island and have a quick lunch afterwards around the docks. After leaving Capri, our boat captain transported us back to Positano while making one more swim/snorkel stop and providing free drinks water, beer, soda and snacks cookies, lemoncello. Having more time on Capri would have been nice, but overall a great experience.

We had an amazing time. The boat driver was excellent new a lot about the area. We and are friends had kids along and they loved it as much as we did. The driver had fruit, pastries,champagne and lemon liquor to finish out the trip. Can not say enough good about this tour!

We had a great time on this tour. We took this tour out of Positano and Francesco, our boat captain was a pleasure to be with and was very informative. Saw spectacular views and were able to have a couple of swims if you wanted. Got to spend few hours on Capri and went to the Gardens of Augustus and also had a nice lunch. Highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic tour! Capri is a good place to visit but it is the boat tour that makes it all worthwhile. Captain Massimo was an attentive and gracious host. You get a different perspective when you can see the places you are visiting from the water and it makes for great sites, better pictures, and lasting memories.

All the reviews about this cruise is true. Everything about this tour was sensatioal. The most important thing for me was to see the Blue Grotto and it didnt let me down. But in saying this there was so many other wonderful things to enjoy. We had the wonderful Pepee that so many people on here rave about was in charge of our tour and he clearly loves his job, lots of personal touches, even made us all his homemade limoncello!! I would do this tour again

This was by far one of our favorite experiences in Positano! I cannot recommend this trip enough! The boat tour was so much fun, Massimo is so knowledgeable and an amazing tour guide. It was such a better experience than taking the large ferry over to Capri for the day. We got to tour around the coast of Capri, ventured into a few grottos which it's amazing how close you can get!, swam off of the coast of Capri, spent about 4 hours exploring the island, and then leisurely headed back to Positano. We were treated with lots of light snacks and drinks on the way back as well! We had such a fun time relaxing and meeting new people on board!

The cruise was beautiful, the caption, named Massimo, was wonderful! Funny, energetic and knowledgeable. The only thing I would warn against, is if you happen to be easily motion sick, avoid this, as it the yacht is bumpy and I was sick the entire time. Other then that mishap, the trip was great!

We absolutely loved our day trip to Capri! Unfortunately the water was too choppy for us to go to the Blue Grotto, but to be honest, even if we could have, the wait would have been at least 1-2 hours. Tons of other tour boats just lurk around and wait their turn, so I feel that going straight to Capri is the best option. Be aware that Anacapri is not reachable by foot, and you either have to take a bus which there is always a long line, or you have to take a taxi which is 25 one way but you can share the cost with other from your group. Other than that, great shops, good food, good atmosphere. You MUST take the chair lift in Anacapri! The views are unbelievable! Our guide was super nice, and the beers/prosecco on the boat ride were much appreciated!

This was the highlight of our 7 day trip to Positano!! We were lucky enough to have Massimo as our captain, and he was nothing short of amazing. He was funny, friendly, kind, and an all around wonderful person. The boat was beautiful, as were the stops we made to swim on our way to Capri. We were so glad we booked this instead of one of the big ferries over to Capri - the boat ride itself was our favorite part of our trip. Massimo provided us with towels, in addition to plenty of beer, prosecco, limoncello, and cookies for the ride! Everything on this trip was perfect. We feel so lucky to have had Massimo as our captain. We even ran into him a few days later and he remembered us and chatted with us for a while. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested. Request Massimo, if you can!!

Awesome day trip to Capri. We were picked up by Angelo at the Marina in Praiano which was 15 minutes from our apartment. We picked up additional passengers in Positano. We visited the green Grotto as well as the Faraglioni Rocks and our captain also stopped at the Famous Blue Grotto before dropping us off at Capri where we were given 4 hours to explore the island and Anacapri. Cookies and a cocktail of limoncello and prosecco were served on the way back. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are in the Amalfi Coast.

This was a lovely excursion. The captain, Angelo, and first mate, Hermes, were very attentive, pointing out towns and landmarks along the way. We also got a very close up view of several grottos. The tour group also provided great information about how to get the most out of the day at Capri. Capping off the trip with Limoncello and cookies was an extra special treat. It was also nice to have a limited number of people on board. I would definitely recommend!

Well worth the time and money. Our boat captain did a great job of allowing us to see amazing things. The tour company made recommendations on what to see while on the island of Capri so we were able to see as much as possible while there. I adored this trip, it was really accommodating intimate experience where as other boat tours can be more larger and loud and touristy. If you want something more laid back and fun and intimate i would choose this cruise again. The cruise captain pepe was awesome providing snack and drinks and stories and a good laugh. We got to stop along the way to swim in beautiful locations in the grottos and see under the water beautiful fish and coral. I definitely recommend this trip for sure!
