This was a terrific tour. We had amazing guides who made sure we were always safe and having a great time. I am terrified of heights and I was able to do everything - even with a little fear. My teenagers and husband loved this. It was well worth the money. Our guides were PeeWee, Marco, and Ceasar. Groups start by putting on a wet suit shirt and then getting on a donkey to ride up a hill to the first zip line. There is a bit of a hike where the donkeys can't go- but not far- there are water stations all along the way. Starting with the first zip line, there is a series of activities- from various length zip lines, repelling down next to a waterfall , ziplining into a pool, dropping slowly from a platform more repelling- very safe and slow and 2 waterslides. Lots of adrenaline- but a great experience- my family loved it.

I'm giving this tour 5 stars because it was the highlight of our trip for my three teens and me, but I do NOT recommend purchasing the excursion via Viator. Instead, wait until you get to Puerto Vallarta, then find a Vallarta Adventures kiosk they were stationed every few blocks on the beach in the Zona Romantica. You'll get a better deal, plus you can get a discount for multiple excursion, plus you won't have to worry about calling when you get there. I could not reach a live person and had to go to a kiosk and beg for help to reach their office.

I'm not a fan of the trip up there with enslaved mules. However, I am a fan of the rest of the day! It was absolutely a pleasure to get to know more people from different countries while doing this activity. I enjoyed the tour guides very much they were friendly, outgoing, helpful, and quite hilarious! Do I recommend this? yes if it doesn't involved riding an enslaved mule.

THIS WAS THE BEST ADVENTURE EVER!!! It definitely exceeded my expectations from reading the description of tour. It was FANTASTIC from minute one to end. It began with the approx. 30 min speed boat ride to the coast of boca de tomatlan, once there, boarded 4x4 jeeps thru quaint town proceeding up the mountain to the base site to begin this great adventure. After receiving detailed instructions, we were equipped with zip lining gear/safety equipment. We then were matched with Mules and began our escalation up the mountain for approx. 20 min. The tour consisted of about 9 zip lines, additionally a great rappel alongside a beautiful waterfall and at the end a wonderful waterslide splashdown. During this tour we got to appreciate the amazing scenery during our hikes from one site to the next. The staff helped you feel at ease and very safe always. This was definitely for me a bucket list item. We were a group of 4 being the oldest of tour group of 15 in our 50's we had the best time ever!!!!!

EXHILARATING! HEART PUMPING FUN!! Our family travels 1-2 times every year and always takes in a couple of excursions. Our entire family me, my wife and 3 teenage kids - and our friends all agree that this was the BEST adventure we have ever done! The number of activities in one tour is phenomenal and the guides made this an adventure to remember! Starting with this huge rush is the speedboat ride across the bay, followed by the Mercedes all-terrain vehicle ride up a twisty mountain road high into the Sierra Madres, then a slow ascent on mules up a dirt trail...when you get to the top, the FUN begins with numerous ziplines including ziplining upside down, rappelling down a waterfall, vertical drops into refreshing cold ponds, surfing over the tree tops, and a final scary waterslide going 1 mile in 22 seconds!! After this adventure, you receive snacks and refreshments and can relax at an archery range before the all-terrain ride back to the docks for a final speedboat ride back!! Thanks to our excellent tour guides - Mark, DJ, Carlos, Charly, Tyler, and Lancer!! We would highly recommend this adventure to all thrill seekers!!

This was one of the highlights of our trip last week and worth the money. Vallarta Adventures is hands down the best Tour company in Mexico. On this excursion, we ride a speedboat to an place where we were picked up in a 4X4 safari type vehicle. After that ride up the hill, we got on mules for another ride up the hill. After that, we got to zip line, rapel down waterfalls and into pools of quite chilly water, rode a couple water slides and just had an absolute blast. Our guides, Javi, Wunder, Cesar, Alvin, Mario, Mack and Luis were awesome. Keep in mind that they do have you put ALL of your stuff in a bag prior to starting the tour, so if you wants pictures and videos, you are buying theirs for 170 to 230, but theirs are REALLY good.

One of the best zip-lining experiences! The guides are super professional and make you feel safe the entire time. Only downside is that they won't allow you to bring your GoPro and pictures packages start at 60.

This trip was well worth it! We packed so many fun things into a beautiful day - zip lining, mule ride, water slides, rappelling, etc. You even get to try the last zip line upside down if you want! It's impossible to bring a camera with you and they have a photographer with your group the whole day. We bought a photo package for 2 people (CD + 2 5x7 prints) for $60. They have all the equipment you need, as well as a safe place for your backpack while you're gone. As far as safety goes, there are so many trained guides helping you along the way and you're always attached to a safety line. I always felt safe and secure in my harness.

We went in September - rainy season - but it made it even more enjoyable. From the speedboat to the mule ride to the 4 x4 to the actual zip lining - all of it was simply awesome. My wife was a little nervous but they helped her all the way along. Safety is very important. Only thing I would say : if you get motion sickness, the speedboat ride may effect you (but remember it was rainy season and the water was choppy as a result). 5 Star, highly recommend it.

This was one of the most wonderful tours I've ever been on. The zip lines and rappelling were exciting and the tour guides were very safety aware. After we got over the nervousness of the first zip line, everything else was super-fun! The guides had a great sense of humor and they made an effort to make sure everyone had a great time. The professional photographer was wonderful and got some amazing shots. We were able to buy a CD with all our photos for 30 per person which is WAY better than the 15 per photo we were expecting.
