Puntarenas City Tour Country Drive and Shopping

Punta Arenas, Costa Rica

During this tour you will be able to enjoy some of Costa Rica's country side aboard an air conditioned vehicle. You will be able to find local fruits and shop for local souvenirs as well as enjoy lunch at a traditional Costa Rican restaurant.

The tour begins at Puntarenas pier where you hop on an air-conditioned motor coach for a one-hour drive along scenic roads, passing quaint villages on your way to Orotina. Costa Rica's topography is one of the world’s most diverse. Rolling hills, high mountains, plains, valleys, and riverbeds are just part of the gorgeous landscape that make you think of one word: paradise.

Once in the area, you can find many types of souvenirs including some truly exotic tropical fruits, such as caimitos (star apples), cashew fruits, cashew nuts, mangoes, Star fruit and many more amazing fruits, most endemic to Costa Rica.

Stopping at El Jardin Souvenir Store, you will be allowed to walk around the place, go shopping or taste a local meal at the restaurant.

Continuing our scenic drive, you will return to Puntarenas City for a short sightseeing tour. 

After the tour, you can decide to stay in the city or make your way back directly to the ship.
