I took my kids and I thought I would be scared, up so high, but the excitement made me completely forget to be scared. The guide on the bus to/from this place, Jean, was very informative and friendly. We learned a lot about the Dominican Republic from him. The staff at the Zipline place was very professional and friendly, too. They put the harness on for you to make sure it's on securely and correctly and at every platform, a staff member met you to hook you line on to the next zip line. Also, they had a way to turn on the breaks for you towards the end of the zip line to ensure no one went flying into a tree. It was a GREAT time! The views were amazing and the rush of going 30 mph over the gorgeous scenery and through the trees cannot be beat!

The zipline was very fun and some of the longest we have been on . The views are spectacular and the safety measures taken are extreme...which is good. Carlos the tour guide was interesting to listen to as he had much information about the Island. We were served watermelon and bananas after ziplining and a shop you can wonder in without any pressure. You also can enjoy the local beer before heading back on the bus. The chocolate is a Must Buy!!!!!

My wife and I did this excursion on our honeymoon and we thoroughly enjoyed it Oct. 2015! Our jeep guide, Manuel Mama Juana, was very fun and entertaining during the ride to and from the rain forest. The zip line crew was fantastic! They took safety first with fun a close second. We had a lot of fun on the ziplines! You can take or leave the picture package they offer but it was only 35 for two people, which was great! Definitely buy some of the locally made chocolate they offer at the end of the tour!

The tour was so much more, it was a long drive in an open safari type truck, about 45 minutes. We drove through the real Dominican Republic and our tour guide, my man Jean was the best, very entertaining and informative. Zipline was as safe as anything here in USA and a blast!!_br/_ Tour was an A+

Overall this excursion was great! The drive up there was a little long 2 hours but had great sights and our guide was knowledgeable and gave some great information. The canopy tour was fun and quite long, about 12 different zip lines. The staff obviously have been doing this a while and knew what they were doing. Recommend this tour if you like a little adventure!

Had an absolute blast! Our driver was Josy and our guide on the ride there was Mau. He was so knowledgeable and was do willing to answer questions we had about the excursion as well as the culture and what we saw on the way. We throughly enjoyed ourselves.

great experience. It was mine and my husband's first time zip lining, was nervous at first but felt at ease and safe with the crew. You can tell they are all trained very well and versed with zip line safety. Our "guide" Manuel "Mamajuana" was great.

My wife and I have ziplined in Mexico and Minnesota on a number of occasions, so it's safe to say we enjoy this activity. The staff were excellent and the runs offered outstanding views of the hillside and farming landscape. Even the bus ride was fun and Patrick was a great tour guide.

This is the most fun any normal person can have! My family absolutely LOVED IT! The instructors were great, very helpful and friendly, really good weather (80's), good food, well worth the price. If you have time, do it! 14 stages of thrills and excitement. A little bit of walking and climbing but really nice!

This tour was fantastic. Hotel pick was on time the tour guide was great he explained about all the different towns we would drive through and we even stopped on the way back to buy various goods that helped the local community. The zipline was very professionally run. An awesome experience.

Everything on the tour was really good. I just wish I had known that the trip each way was more than an hour. It has been suggested to wear pants, long-sleeve shirt, and closed toe shoes....and also to bring bug spray. None of these were necessary. We actually were the only three in our group of a hundred or so that was wearing long pants, and it got very hot even in the morning. The trip can be quite bumpy, but it was also very informative and fun. The guide was very fluent in English, and everyone made this trip a really great time. We appreciated the water and fresh fruit when we were done sip-lining. Just a note that there are several places that you have to hike quite an incline to get to the next line. One of our fellow passengers had to bow out after the 4th line due to exhaustion from hiking. Thrilling trip, and yes, I would do it again! In shorts! :)

My experience with the Punta Cana Zipline Canopy Adventure was a highlight of my trip to Punta Cana! The bus ride was entertaining thanks to our guide, Manual, and informative! We really got to see what the surrounding countryside and barrios look like and how the locals live. The canopy adventure staff is friendly, professional and extremely safety conscious! I have never zip lined before and I am surprised that I did it but SO glad I did! It was a great experience and I was really not afraid at all! Thanks to all the great team members of the Punta Cana Zipline Canopy Adventure!

If you don't mind a long ride in an open-air bus on bumpy and narrow roads (about one hour each way), then the trip would be worth it. Our reservation was for Christmas day and they were closed that day so they had to double up and there was a huge amount of people. It took a long time to get everyone geared up and ready to go. The zipline tour was great but I've been on others that were better. At the end they serve everyone water and fresh fruit which was awesome and there is even a water break during the zipline tour itself which was much needed because there was alot of walking to the next point. The guide on the bus was very helpful and informative and it was even interactive. Would I do this particular trip again...no, but if you've never done a zipline tour then go for it.

My understanding of a canopy tour is one where use the zip from that platform go to another platform. Hiking of all the steps for a person with asthma almost killed me. But I have to say the guides and the people on the towers were super super Patient. I would definitely recommend this tour to Puna.

It is a long drive up into the mountains to get to the starting point. It was fun though driving through local villages. Our guide was great because he gave us a lot of info about their culture. There is some hiking involved so be ready for that. I wish there would have been more lines. I zip lined in Jamaica and the lines were longer and there were more of them. This excursion was pretty good but definitely not my favorite.

Great tour, we did this on our honeymoon. There is about an hour drive each way with 20 minutes of rough terrain. Our driver "Salomi" did a great job getting us there and back safely. Our tour guide "Mama - Juana" made the trip fun, we got to try locally made chocolate and the actual drink Mama Juana (we were even able to purchase some for $25 a bottle which made a great gift). Be sure to wear proper clothing, some of the other ladies who wore shorts complained about being uncomfortable in the harness, I wore pants and had no problems. There is a bit of uphill hiking, you will definitely get a workout on this tour! The lines were great, such amazing views, only wish they would have lasted longer. Overall, even though the actual zip lining went by quickly, we enjoyed this trip and would definitely recommend it. Oh, we also purchased the picture cd for $35 and it was so-so, not as many pictures as we would have liked BUT they don't allow personal cameras so we felt it was worth the money.

Wonderful! The guides on the bus ride there are so much fun. On the way back, make sure you bring some extra money. They stop in a little town where you can buy chocolate they make right there in the village. You really can't get it anywhere else, I've been looking every where for it. They dry the cocoa beans right in their driveway, then mix it with cinnamon, vanilla and honey. It's heavenly. Also, try the mamajuana from here. What they give you at the resort is crap, the stuff from the towns people is amazing!

We've done ziplines on other vacations in the past, but we felt this one was just over-crowded. Still fun, but not much of a chance to chat with the others, as they had you going through the lines pretty quick._br/_ We prefer a smaller group of 15-20 not 100+.

Me and my husband did this on our honeymoon. It was very fun. The tourguide was nice and they teach you how to safely zipline. The trip up to the mountain was about an hour long with a lot of ATV-like maneuvers for a big truck but we got there and back safely. We highly recommend this adventure. Dont forget to bring the bugspray! :)

Very Fun. I felt totally safe since they uses double cables. The ride to the mountains was a little longer than anticipated but all of the employees were very friendly and made the trip there and back a pleasure. I will definitely go ziplining again!

Great experience! Our guide, sexy chocolate banana strawberry was excellent and entertaining. Be advised the trip there from Punta Cana is long and the last half is VERY bumpy. The crew is very organized and safe. We ziplined in Maui and only had about 5 lines. This zipline was line after line after line. Worth the money.

YOU MUST CALL once you get to your hotel to let them know you arrived and have made reservations. This is a half day event. It's best to go in the morning before it starts to get HOT. Wear something comfortable like jeans for the harness and preferably shoes you will get dirty. Make sure you eat before you leave. You ride on back of a truck holding on for dear life. You pass through parts of the small island giving you a little idea of how people live. Once you get to the bottom of the beautiful mountain you're in for a bumpy and dusty ride or what they call a dominican massage or cowboy ride because of how many bumps you go over in the dirt road. You get a quick overview with a small model they have of the ziplines you will be doing. You get suited up and checked twice for safety. It's very professional and I saw people from 8yrs to 56yrs trying this tour and everyone loved it. I have been on ziplines in Hawaii, Jamaica, Cancun but I have to say this one is the BEST. It has a great view and feel for being in the jungle. There are some extremely long lines and some short ones. Once back at the camp where you started they have fresh fruit for everyone. I extremely recommend this tour.

The zip line was awesome! Excellent scenery flying thru the trees and across creeks. Only downside was the long, bouncy truck ride up. Take what ever time they estimate for you to get there and double it. Also no cameras allowed.

Very enjoyable. The 'Black Monkey' was a great tour guide, the 'Dominican massage' (AKA, truck ride up the mountain) was fun and the zipline was a blast. Very professional, and we felt very safe throughout the entire experience.

Loved it! I enjoyed my trip. The ride in the truck was rough. At first I thought it was the road, but my ride to the airport was smooth. There is a reason there are signs regarding seat belts. I would do it again. The guys were very professional.
