Great opportunity to be on one of the prettiest places on the planet. The food on board was excellent and the crew knowledgeable and fun. The only downfall was the sandflies that can eat you alive so be warned. An excellent addition to any time you are down in the extraordinary New Zealand South Island.

Very beautiful! It rained for part of our trip, but the guys still went out in the kayaks and had a great time. The waterfalls everywhere and the shear cliffs above us were spectacular. I and #39;m sure the rain made for the increase in water production for the waterfalls. The food was even good.

Phenomenal! There were only 14 of us on this cruise so I'm sure our experience was more intimate than that if the boat was full up to 60 I think. Staff was awesome and food was fabulous. Of course the highlight was the hundreds of waterfalls we got to see since it had been raining a ton for days on end. No sunshine but still amazing. Accommodations were small but adequate.

Great trip! Milford Sound is amazing! I recommend staying and doing the overnight as it is a long drive if you are coming from Queenstown. I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much if I tried to return to Queenstown the same day. The staff were wonderful, the food was great and it was fun meeting people from other places. Beware of the sand flies, they are everywhere!

Wow! An absolute must! Got up at 5am for the sunrise and what a site! Guide was brilliant on the way there and you will not got a better view than the plan back to queenstown! Only downside was load mouthed yanks, only interested in getting drunk and being stupid (not all of them)

Excellent cruise and great staff! Stop by places during the coach ride such as mirror lake. The coach driver was very knowledgeable and provided commentary on the way to Milford Sound. Everything was explained clearly and in detail so that you know what to expect. Highly recommend this cruise! Absolutely breathtaking you will not want to leave.

The bus ride there and back was comfortable, informative and entertaining. Our room on board was small but all we did was sleep there, so no big deal. Everything was clean and in good working order. We didn't use the ensuite shower, so I can't comment on that. The staff were all very personable and made all the activities that much better. Dinner and breakfast were great. About the only negative I can think of is that, like all Kiwis, the staff at the bar labor under the delusion that 30 ml of whiskey is a shot. I'd recommend this trip highly.

This was the highlight of our south island trip. Simply superb scenery on both road to, and on the cruise. The coach driver, Adrian was very friendly and knowledgeable and we've stopped at many beautiful spots for photos. The coach itself has windows on the roof which let us see the high mountains of Fiorland National Park. The ship is modern and although our cabin was a bit small, it was quite cosy and comfortable. Plenty of nice foods & drinks available. As the weather was permitting, we went right out to Tasman Sea at sunset!

The bus driver was very knowledgeable and provided cafe stops, very nice, to help break up the drive to Milford Sound. As to be expected the scenery was outstandind. We were blessed with beautiful weather on the cruise. The food was wonderful and plentiful, thanks to the chef. A small backpack or carry on is all that is needed, as the cabins, though adequite, are very small.

The must for any traveller to New Zealand! Not the Milford Sound itself, but also the road to there - after it you may imagine for what reasons Peter Jackson shoot his Lord of the Rings movies in his native New Zealand! And, I guess, this choice is much better than one day (or half-day) cruise on Milford Sound. The evening in the fjord, the night on the ship and the fjord in the morning are the best of my impressions of New Zealand (where I have spent 2 weeks and have seen lot of attractive places). The only bad thing - weather was not good, but of course this is what any trip organaizer could not prevent or change.

Justin was our coach driver and his knowledge of the area is excellent. He consistently amazed us. He is also a very friendly, helpful guide.

Spectacular location, even more so in the pouring rain - hundreds of waterfalls in every direction, some blowing sideways, some raging torrents, some twice the height of Niagara - and the boat was warm, comfy and kept me well supplied with food and drink. Great scenery and views thru the glass roof of the bus there and back too.
