Great tour. On time pick-up, great driver and guide. Milford Sound there aren't any words that will do it justice, simply beautiful.

great experience and bus driver has stopped at his favourite spot, and I must agree with him that it was breathtakingly beautiful. Milford Sound boat ride has been memorable.

This was a great tour! Milford Sound was one of the highlights of our South Island tour. We wished we could have stayed longer! My biggest problem with this tour was the driver especially on the return trip luckily we sleep most of the way there. The driver chose to go very fast on very tiny 2 lane roads in a gigantic tour bus. This made me very queasy and I am not someone who gets car sick easily. I think we tried to do too much in the short time we had. Lunch was a bit later in the afternoon about 2 or so so make sure to bring a snack. The juicy cruise was awesome. The only downside is that it is really crowded. If we had chosen to do this on our own, I am sure it would have been easier to get pictures etc. The scenery of Milford Sound is well worth everything!

Milford Sound is amazing. The tour stopped along the way at 3 areas for photos, and that was good also. The boat trip on the Sound was superb, and due to the cancellation of one of the other tours, the boat was not crowded at all. The boat captain moved us up next to some seals, and at the mouth of the Sound, a school of dolphins joined us. He also steered the boat very close to one of the spectacular waterfalls. The weather, which can be quite variable, was perfect and quite warm for the time of year.

A very long day on the coach 12hrs but well worth the trip, The coach driver kept us well entertained and was very knowledgeable, but just a shame about the weather on the day we visited, but that's the luck of the draw when booking a holiday. But was still very spectacular on the boat trip and definately recommended.

An extremely long day, but would return in a heartbeat! Traveling to the Milford sound from Queenstown does take some time, and is not for those who get car sick. The roads leading down to the sound are very winding. The views are BREATHTAKING!!!! I would recommend skipping the free lunch wasn't that great and purchasing your own on the boat. Its SPECTACULAR EVERYONE MUST GO HERE

the coach was not as comfortable as promised. Though the tour guide and driver complimented it. The board ride was good and fun.

Make no mistake, this IS a full-day trip 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. While most of it is spent on a bus to and from Milford Sound, the scenery and stops along the way make it worthwhile. Out of Queenstown the bus takes you along the scenic Lake Wakatipu, with stops in Te Anau, Fiordland National Park, Mirror Lakes, and the Chasm. The bus was large, new, and comfortable, with expansive windows to take in the views. Our driver, Marcus, was knowledgeable and provided wonderful commentary throughout the drive. He was also particular about keeping to schedule. He even pointed out a couple of keas somewhat large parrots that have an inexplicable fondness for the rubber linings found around car windows.

As long as you are prepared for a long day of travel the day the day is fantastic. The scenery is majestic. Our coach driver, Marcus, was skilled, he was prompt and informative. The Milford Sound cruise was amazing and long enough but the lunch was not as good as I had hoped i'm a bit concerned about the hygiene at buffets at the best of times and this was no exception. Just one thing to note is that as skilled as Marcus was, if you are a but worried about speedy driving along narrow winding roads, best to have a sleep on the coach, or if you can afford it, catch the helicopter from Milford Sound back to Queenstown. Sadly I couldn't afford it!

I waited 2 hours in 10 For a pick up that. Never came. Then your operator told me nothing could be done. I traveled 9000 miles to see one of the great wonders of the World and caught a cold and you haven returned my money,!

Very, very, long day. I had read the reviews before going on this trip that it was long, however I can't stress just how long it was. The driver was great and tried to make the experience more exciting with a commentary and by stopping along the way a photo spots. The fjords themselves are just like other fjords that exist. I had been to the ones in Norway, and after seeing Milford Sound through a long day, it wasn't as exciting. The meal on the boat was an Asian meal without many variety or options. I cannot eat certain ingredients that are common in Asian cooking, so this was disappointing. Overall, if you don't mind sitting on a bus for a long time and have not seen a fjord, it is worth it. Otherwise, choose something closer.

All around an excellent tour. Our guide unfortunately I forget his name was very knowledgeable and engaging with the tourists. There are several stops along the way to Milford Sound that were nice, only one area was the typical tourist trap with shops / bathrooms. The boat cruise was lovely as was the Indian food on board.

Being able to do this as a one day tour from Queenstown - I was very pleased. The scenery was spectacular, we were kept engaged during the long bus ride and given much information about New Zealand as well as places and things we saw on our tour. Even on the way back, we were able to watch a movie about a New Zealand true storey that made the drive very pleasant and interesting.

It was a rainy day on Milford but that's how Milford is all about. We were picked up at the designated spot on time and driven to Milford making a few stops along the way for snacks and toilet use. The driver was very knowledgeable and kept the group entertained all along the journey. The lunch buffet at Milford is very good and plentiful. Excellent cuisine.
