The bus/van we were on broke down on the highway. We were going so slowly I thought we were going to be rear ended. We had to change vans on the side of the highway. We continued on to Quito but the driver for some reason went thru the bus station. I think he was in the wrong lane. He was pulled by a cop and given a ticket for a missing headlight. We reached the street below our hotel and had to walk up 1/2 a block..

I was the only on the transfer as I arrived late at night on March 2nd. There was a driver as well as someone who greeted me in the airport. He was very nice and provided me with some helpful tips while on the ride. He even walked me to the door of my hostal and waited with me till they came and opened the door. Then spoke to the lady to let her know who I was since she didn't speak much English and I couldn't speak Spanish.

My arrival transfer last night was GREAT! Our flight was about 40 minutes early, and I don't check a bag, so I walked quickly through customs and out the exit -- I was afraid the ride would not be there yet, but my driver was waiting with my name on a board! We did have to wait for the other 2 couples using the transfer, and that took another 45 minutes or so, as they were among the last out of the security area. The van was new and beautiful and easily held 5 passengers and all their 3 weeks worth of luggage. The 9.99 price was well worth it -- the drive into town around midnight took about an hour. I wish I could get a return for that price!

I would give this Quito airport transfer a 0 star rating if I could. Our plane landed at Quito airport at 11:15 pm. Our driver said that we would have to wait until 1:15 am while we waited for more passengers arriving on later planes. I did not intend to wait 2 additional hours for my ride to my hotel. I had been traveling since 9:00 am that morning and had no sleep. I decided to take a taxi to my hotel which cost me an additional 28. I thought that this was ridiculous, expecting someone to wait for 2 hours at the airport for their ride.

This is such a great deal! I arrived very early in the morning 1 AM and was concerned about just walking out and getting a taxi, being a solo female traveler. Right after exiting baggage claim, the representative was there holding a sign with my name and I was immediately walked out and put on a van with another couple. It took about 40 minutes to get to the hotel. I really recommend this company, as it is most efficient, safe, and will save you money!

We were met at the airport in Quito. A gentleman was waiting with a sign showing our name. He escorted us to a nearby seating area where we waited just a few minutes until the other guests arrived, then we were escorted by him to the outside of the airport, where a clean minibus met us for transport into Quito. Our luggage was loaded for us and also unloaded when we reached our destination. We were pleased that we were delivered to the door of our apartment building.

My flight arrived 2 hours late. The driver had to wait for 3 other flights to collect 6 other passengers so it would have been an additional 1.5 wait for me. I simply took an express bus. Easy and convenient. 13.50 round trip. Not worth buying this service.

The person meeting us at the airport repeatedly lied to us. We ended up waiting at the airport for more than an hour for his other clients after being repeatedly told we would leave in just five or ten minutes. Five or ten minutes came and went many times. We could have been to Quito and back by the time we finally left the airport. To add insult to injury, the same person told us we would be dropped us first before the other clients. However, when we got to Quito, the driver and this guide instead dropped off the other clients first. Not only that, they got lost in doing so adding another half hour while we drove up and down the streets of Quito looking. Overall it was more than two hours from when we first met our guide to when we finally got dropped off at our hotel very late at night.

Grayline's very personable Adrianna and her driver were waiting at the predesignated spot and time 5:45pm . The pickup was smooth...we were the only pickup at that. Adrianna warned us that the ride into Quito would take 60-70 minutes since it was peak time. She even walked us right to Hotel Reina Isabel's concierge desk. Great service. Muchos Gracias

Would have given this tour 5 stars had the driver not gotten into an accident en route from the airport to our Quito hotel. Pickup was on time and professional. Traffic was a nightmare going into Quito and our bus got into an accident. After much delay, we had to be transferred to a taxi to take us to our hotel. It was a cold, rainy day in Quito and we were very tired. Not a very pleasant experience at all.
