This was a great time! Shorn drove us to the site, they fitted us up and I was able to leave some things in a locker and take the key._br/_ After zip lining so fun! the guys who took us up obviously enjoy what they do!, he drove us to the public beach, which was amazing. The drive was rather long because of the pot holes in the pavement, but once we got there, we were able to grab a couple of beers at the bar and listen to some music. He was very informative about the area and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

This was by far the best part of our cruise! Rafael, Quinn, and Alex made it so much fun it was unreal. They encouraged us to let loose, and I went mostly upside down, which was terrifying, yet exhilarating. My 7 and 9 year olds LOVED it. Be sure and spend the 25 for the photo dvd. One of them took photos, and they are amazing! I wondered about safety, but you are strapped in so tight, you aren't going anywhere!

First off, the zip lines were wonderful. The pickup location was about a 1 mile walk from the ship. We saw the sign immediately and were taken by a private car to the zip line location. Our guides: Preston and Marcos were great. Here's the problem. My husband and I are over 65 and out of shape. The first platform is up such a steep incline that ropes were provided to help you climb up. Our poor guides actually were pushing our backsides to help get us up there and when I reached the top I was so winded that I had to rest for about 10 minutes to catch my breath. Then the fun began. A cameraman took tons of photos and when we were done with the zip line portion he asked for 30, we paid 20. Over 100 pictures. I'm not sure it was over 20 platforms, I didn't count...but loads of fun. At the end of the zip lines we saw the monkeys who were in cages as were the parrots. Yes they took some out for us to hold and take photos with, but all in all, pretty lame. We didn't want to go to the beach so the driver took us on an island tour for no additional charge. The roads are the worst on any island we've been on. DON'T BOTHER! At the far end of the island is a resort with lots of bars and gift shops. Other than that, nothing to see or do. In our opinion, just a waste of an hour at least. All in all it was something that we will always remember, but please be forewarned about the level of stress to get to the first platform. Also, beware of the red ants and wear closed shoes.

Had a wonderful excursion off Carnival cruise ship. Guide was where they said they would be only negative was it is a pretty long walk from terminal up and down a steep hill. driver was friendly, informative and very helpful. Zip lining was a blast 4 different guides helping, 17 zippiness, some very long. My 82 yr. old mother did this for the 1st time and they took great care of her and she loved it. Monkey and bird park is right on premises kind of small but monkeys were cute and playful and we weren't rushed at all. Would highly recommend this trip. When they take you back to ship, they are able to pull up much closer to terminal.

Looks sketchy as heck, but it was amazing! You have your own driver for the day which was excellent. Only issue is you have to pay extra for the beach though.

Excellent adventure! We followed the instructions on the voucher, left the port area, and immediately saw the person holding the sign for our tour. Told him we had a reservation, he checked his list, and then started on a short walk down the main road towards the zip line location. The four of us, my wife and two kids 14 and 11 enjoyed the short walk and it gave the kids a chance to see how others live and work on the island. Once at the tour we got into our harnesses and rode in the back of the truck to the top of the mountain. Our guides Michael, Giovaney, and Marvin were excellent and made sure we were comfortable, safe, and had a great time. After a few of the platforms my son was doing flips and going upside down. This was his favorite excursion we did. At the end we visited the monkey park which my daughter loved and had been looking forward to for months. Overall a great time and I highly recommend booking this tour!

We had the best time ever. This was our favorite excursion by far. There were 9 of us from ages 8 to 56 and we all loved it. Our guides were amazing and lots of fun! Can't forget the monkeys they were the cutest, we even got to bottle feed them.

These guys were great and the ziplines were really nice. There were a total of 16 lines of varying distances and with fairly nice views. The guys were focused on the safety of the group and didn't hesitate to show off their daredevil skills when they were up on the lines. The monkey portion was pretty nice and they were well cared for they were feeding the babies milk in a baby bottle - very cute . The beach portion was pretty cool as our guide waited with us and was in no hurry whatsoever. Overall, a very nice excursion and didn't feel rushed or any pressure to buy or tip or do anything beyond what was advertised. Great experience!!

This was the best zipline adventure ever! One of our guides, Big John must have been a monkey in a past life! He jumped off of the platforms performing backflips, hanging upside down even laying down with his hands behind his head! We did relax laying down as they did the breaking for us. Marvin made sure that all went well. A fellow zipper lost his hat during a stunt and Marvin retrieved it.

We booked this as an excursion on our Royal Caribbean cruise. We had no trouble finding the person holding the sign and he had our guide, Trent, there to lead us to the zipline within a few minutes. The walk was about 10 minutes from the port. There we met our zipline guides, Kevin and Big John, got harnessed up and away we go up the hill in the back of a pickup. Once we got to the top of the road we had to walk up a steep incline to get to the start of the zipline. I'm an asthmatic and Grandma has a bit of trouble with stability but Kevin and Big John helped us up and told us we could take breaks if needed. We made it and were glad we did! Once at the top Kevin took a picture with my phone for us and then went through a safety talk. It's a freestyle zipline so we didn't have to wear helmets and could even do tricks. The first line Big John tandem zipped with Grandma so she felt safe. After that it was freestyle fun for our full group 6 people ages 12-75. Kevin and Big John showed us tricks and even helped us figure out how to do them ourselves. There were a couple of Indiana Jones bridges and the guys walked in front and behind Grandma to help her across. Every time we thought the zipline was over there was more. Definitely worth every penny!_br/_ After the zipline was done we ate at the restaurant and enjoyed fried iguana, chicken and red snapper. After lunch we headed over to the monkey park. It was smaller than I expected but we were able to hold and play with the monkeys for as long as we wanted. The kids were able to go into the cage with the fawn and then we were able to hold the Macaw. Once we were all done with that, Trent took us on a tour around the island on our way to the beach. First we went to a resort but when we didn't want to pay to enter, he took us to another entry on the beach. Tip: if utilizing the free access dress in your swimsuit because there is no where to change on the beach. We spent about an hour on the beach because we wanted time to shop but we could have stayed even longer if we wanted to and Trent would have waited for us. This was an amazing experience! Be sure to have cash though. Bottled water is 1 per bottle. Photo CD of all your zipline photos are available for purchase 6 people was 30 and the zipline guides, as well as your driver should be tipped. If you want to eat at the restaurant, meals are about 15. Even after all of that, it still worked out cheaper to do it this way than through the cruise line and we got to go at our own pace.

Instructions from Port and pick up easy and no issues. Ziplining was great although some of the lines were very short. Lots of lines though . Our guides were Michael and Jeovanie and they were fun and fantastic. We were given the option of a public beach or private one. That cost extra but was worth it for the pool and bathrooms. The monkey park was not really a park but behind the zip lining 4-5 cages of animals. The kids did love the monkeys though as they got to hold them. Beware however.. this is a RUSTIC ziplining place. No helmets, waviers, etc required. platforms and bridges were simple to say the least and how often maintenance is done would concern me. We did have a great time and our guides were phenomenal, friendly and efficient. I think there are other ziplining places on the island but if you are looking for something very close to the port this is a good option.

For us Shawn our driver made this trip for us. He was such a nice guy and really went above and beyond to teach us the history of the area and even took us shopping in the local market when we asked. He even went on the zip lining adventure with us, which apparently he would never do cause he was afraid of heights! We love the zip lining, we always do. We have done it before in other ports of call and felt like this one was a lot of fun and the staff was fun and tried to get us to make the most of the experience by teaching us tricks like spinning, flipping, and hanging upside down. I will say, I think the harnesses were put on way to tight because we all ended up with massive bruises from the harnesses but better that safe than dead. Overall it was one of the best tours and we would absolutely do it again and again and again!

The tour and folks in Routan were great. Zip line was so fun, loved monkeys, beach beautiful. Only down side was Viator. No customer service. You call the 800 number a women answers and doesn't know anything. She hung up on me three times. It cost me money using my cell too. However, if you called the tour company directly, they were very helpful

This was our first time zip lining and it was unbelievable!!! We were met when we got off the boat and our guide Cameron drove us to the course. From there we were taken thru an amazing experience of 20 zip lines. Our guides thru the course were Rafael and Ronald and they were great! They were patient and friendly and made the experience one to never forget. Our family of four was made up of me, my wife, my 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter. As first timers we were nervous at first but by the end my son was going upside down and my daughter no hands. After we were done we got to hold a monkey before Cameron picked us up and drove us around the island. We were unable to go to the beach resort because it was full but we were able to get a great tour of the Island of Rotan. I can't recommend this tour and these guides enough. Save money from cruise excursions and use these guys. You won't regret it.

This had to be the best thing on the island! _br/_ We had so much fun, there were so many Zip Lines and the beach that they took us to was amazing!! Our tour guides Charly and Dani were excellent ask for them!! They treated us like family visiting from out of town. We got to see the island plus experience the adventure. _br/_ We had so much fun and were so excited and overwhelmed, we left without buying our photos. We were too busy talking about how much fun it was and the total experience. I am hoping the company hasn't deleted them yet because I still want to buy them. _br/_ I would definitely do it all again. My family cant stop talking about it.

This was an all around awesome shore excursion! As everyone who has been on a cruise knows, it always makes me a little nervous booking a 3rd party shore excursion and not directly through the cruise line, but I couldn't be happier I did! Not only did I save about 30 compared to a similar shore excursion through the cruise line, but the quality of the excursion was second to none.

OMG... The Best Zip Line Ever at Jungle Top. Just a 3 minute walk from the cruise ship for Amazingly fun Zip Lines. Our Guides were Andy, Peter and William they were the Best of the Best... Fun and Zip Line Acrobats. They show you incredible move for jumping off the platforms and now its up to you how your adventure will go. Will you dare to zip line upside down? you can if you want to... but if you book a zip line tour from the cruise ship they will have rules and more rules. This is the best journey up on a Pick up truck bumpy fun ride. Lots and Lots of platforms! Great Uva grape soda at the bar. They have lockers and a fun capuchin monkey encounter and a very cool spider monkey. You get a great tour of Roatan by private van instead of 40 people on a bus. Your choice of a Resort Beach or Public Beaches The staff if Great! This is a DO NOT MISS Zip Line Excursion!!!

This tour incorporated multiple stops which turned out to be a fun filled day. Once we passed the gate we met Chris, who told us he would be our guide for the day. He verified our names and the trip that we booked then told me the plan for the day and assured me that we would be able to do everything and get back in time for the ship. Chris drove us around to the locations for the trip and on the way gave us a lot of information about the Island and the people there. I really enjoyed talking to him and I felt like he was honestly happy to see us enjoying ourselves. _br/_ The First stop was the Zip-Line and Monkey Park. The Zip-Lines were a lot of fun, I think there were between 19-21 Zip-lines that we did on the course. There is some moderate exercise required to get to the top of the hill so be prepared. William and Geo were our guides for the zips, they were a lot of fun, very helpful and they also seemed to enjoy knowing that we were having a great time. They were very interactive and made what Im sure would have already been a great activity even better. I also liked that it was just me and my wife with them so we didnt have a big group holding us up. This was our own personal experience. After the zips we say the Monkey Park, which is very small and I wouldnt consider it a park. I did enjoy seeing the monkeys and holding two of them. There were also a few other animals, nothing to be super excited about._br/_ The second stop was to the beach. They beach here was absolutely beautiful. The section we were in wasnt crowded and had security around to move away the constant vendors. I didnt like having to pay an additional 20 for facility usage, but I did just to avoid any issues with us using the chairs and restroom. We spend a good amount of time at the beach and told Chris when were ready to go. We got back to the dock with time to spare and a great set of memories. The only downside is that we were having such a good time we both forgot to put on sunblock...
