This tour is a lot of fun, and our guide was excellent. Both the guide and the bus driver are lots of fun thanks for the extra circle around the roundabout during the sing-along of DoReMi!. The tour takes you out of the city to see beautiful mountain and lake scenery. You learn lots of fun facts about the filming of the movie. After the tour, I recommend going to St. Peter's cemetery in Salzburg and hiking up to Nonnberg Abbey, since the tour bus cannot go up to those sites.

Imagine youre in a foreign country, youre suppose to be at a certain point at a certain time for the tour you have looked forward to..... and you get lost, and realize that you wont be on time!! You make a phone call to explain the situation, and the voice on the phone assures you that you will not miss the tour and gives you instructions to the meeting point. You see the sound of Music bus and just as you are about to cross the street it drives away! You are screamingNoooooooo as you have already missed 2 trains that day from Passau Behind the bus theres two guys with huge smiles on their faces and with their arms open wide, guide you to the tour they especially made for you, the late American! This is where I have to tell you that DAVID, our lifesaver, turned a crazy, hurried, hectic person into a 10 year old kid, singing her favorite songs from the movie and giving her a tour she and her three other tour mates will never forget. He calmed us down, made us relax, made frequent breaks/stops for water, bathroom visits, lunch, etc. THIS WAS THE BEST TOUR EVER! Thanks so much for showing and telling us all the aspects of my favorite movie! You are our HERO! And David, if you found my blue bag with the Einstein quote on it and all my hotel info and ticket vouchers in it, just keep it, my gift to you for turning a bad day into the best!!!

Our tour guide April made the rainy day bright! She was very enthusiastic and cheery in spite of rainy day. We really appreciated her attitude! We need more people like you in the travel industry! _br/_ The bus driver Zoro was the best driver! I have motion sickness, but I was in perfect condition even when I was watching the screen on the bus. Thank you Zoro, too!

I loved this tour. Being a Sound of Music fanatic, I didn't need to be asked twice to join in the sing-a-long. A great tour, showing all the famous film locations. A really lovely drive through the countryside too.

It is unfortunate that we cannot actually access all the sites due to the fact that the properties are in private ownership. Our guide Bettina was very professional and provided us with a lot of other information about the area. She shared information that we would never known. Thank you Bettina for advising us to go to Unterberg. It was an amazing experience

Really enjoyed this day long trip. Our tour included sights in Salzburg and the surrounding area. We went up into the mountains during our tour and through the lake area to the lovely village of Mondsee. We had free time to explore and shop on our own during the tour. If you are a Sound of Music fan, I highly suggest this tour and if by chance you aren't a fan, this tour is well worth the time, as you see some very beautiful country during the trip.
