We were unable to get our card when we arrived as they were closed and we were unable to get our card in the morning before our Sound of Music tour so we ended up paying a lot in taxis and bus fare before even getting the card, so we really didn't get our money out of the card. Many of the sights closed at 5 so after out tour we got in one sight before everything closed. Not sure it was worth it.

This pass was well worth it. We got the 24hr pass and prioritized all activities we can enter for free because of the pass. We did other free actuvities on another day. This pass is enough for old and new town in one day. I dont think you need to get one for a longer period unless you really want to take your time or do activities outside Salzburg.

The Salzburg card gave us the opportunity to visit several local sites and some out of town places. A very easy bus ride out to the cable car to go up to the top of the mountain and see everything for miles. Many free sites and many with reduced fees. Well worth the money.

This card is great! Great value for the Money. We drove frm Munich in the morning and got to Salzburg around 11am. It took us a little time to figure out the best Place to park - I would recoment Mirabell and then walk into the old town to pick up the card. in 7 hours we saw the Castle, took the Train both ways, saw the catacombs, the cathedral, had a great lunch at Zwettlers, visited Mozart's birth house and ended the day With the zoo before driving back to Munich.These were all included in the card. Had we come earlier we could have done a few more Things, but this was anough. A great day.

First off the value of this card is awesome! Usually these are total traps but in Salzburg you really can't beat this and would be foolish not to get. All of the major sites are covered and given how close everything was we went to places to check out cause they were included. Was fantastic. ONLY reason I gave this 4 stars is viator NEEDS to fix the rules for this voucher. MUST print out as they only except printed vouchers. Was annoying to have to go to an internet cafe. If this is fixed it should be 6 stars :

The Salzburg Card is definately the way to go. I bought the 3 day pass and even though we did not take advantage of everything to see, we still got more than our moneys worth. All bus fair is free, so we were able to take the bus out to Untersberg, where the gondola trip up the mountain was 'free'. The Palace and funicular was free- card has now paid for itself. Everything past this point really was 'free'. I would NOT recommend the modern art museum- I was so thankful that it was included on the card so that I didn't have to pay for it. However, a trip up the elevator to the outdoor grounds at the musuem is worth it for a nice view and a little outdoor activity. If you are up for a beerhaus, the Augostino brauhaus is fun and full of locals. It was a past Monestary so when you walk in you are greeted with religious statues until you get to the basement brewery.

We had a wonderful time on our Sound of Music Tour! the guide was knowledgeable about the city AND the various scenes from the film! We had to cajole him a bit to sing the songs - how many times has he sung them I wonder? But he obliged us! The tour bikes were in good condition and we really enjoyed seeing the sights, sounds and people of Salzburg in this way. We are mid-60's but the cycling was easy as was the tour guide's patience! I highly recommend it!
