Very good tour, comfortable mini bus. Visited Coronado 'island''s famous Wooden hotel, Billboa Park good intro to a range of attractions, LaJolla - brilliant visit to beach seeing sea lions close up and high point memorial with amazing views. Ended up at a heritage old town. The driver/guide was very good and knowledgable.

The tour started 35 minutes late. We didn't see all the stops listed on the brochure of the guide. On the bus we sat in front of a couple that would quit talking to hear Frank the guide. Then moving to the back the speaker there was terrible but I guess it really didn't matter. He was a poor excuse for a guide. Most of the time he talked with out using his microphone so only the first couple seats could hear him. He really didn't know what he was talking about. Use Viator again, NO NO NO

Fantastic tour and well worth the money. Our guide Frank was fantastic!! He went over and above to be sure we had a great tour. I would recommend this tour highly to anyone who comes to San Diego and wants a great overview of the area. High marks, especially to Frank.

Very nice trip. The guide, Ms. Atala was great, the van was comfortable, the other passengers friendly. This trip is packed with attractions and goes fast, you see a lot and it gives you a very good idea where to go back for more. Four hours flew by.

Our hotel was not on the drop-down list so I called the number provided and found out they would indeed come by our hotel on the bay and pick us up and gave us the time frame. Frank was there exactly on time in a van. Our small group of 5 were shown many, many sites around San Diego. Over the Coronado Bridge for a driving tour then a stop at the beautiful Coronado Hotel. Next we traveled to LaJolla for an up-close view of sea lions lazing on the beach and most beautiful Mt. Soledad Veteran's monument. Finally Old Town. A beautiful, well rounded 4-hr. tour with lots of time to get off for photos and browsing along the way. Well worth the 48.

First of all we booked this tour through Viator and the conformation said that we would be picked up from our hotel. We decided to confirm this with the tour company. We call the tour company twice and leave messages and never get a call back. Finally late in the evening the day before we were scheduled for the 9:30 am tour they call to tell us that our tour wasnt going and that we would have to take the 2:30 tour or take a refund. We choose to reschedule and at that time we ask about the pick up and they told us that our hotel wasnt a pick up location and we would need to find our own transportation tothere location. When we got to the location I mentioned this to the man at the desk and all he would do is say that one of the other employees doesnt like to return calls. Anyway the tour was really nice the guide was great but be very careful with the office help at booking. These people dont seem to be very responsible or responsive to there coustermers. I would give the tour and the guide 5 stars but the booking part 1star they need some help

The San Diego tour was incredible! Our tour guide Al was very knowledgeable and entertaining! My husband and I were able to view amazing sites such as the San Diego skyline, beaches, and museums! Thanks for an amazing time!

Our morning tour was good and our travel guide was very interesting and informative. He drove us to a variety of places. San Diego is a beautiful city and I hope to go back one day for a much longer tour.

The tour guide was a very nice man and drove us to the specified highlights of the area. He was not particularly knowledgeable, but we were grateful to see the sights. Suggest that you book for an afternoon tour, NOT the morning! When we called to confirm our tour, we were then informed that they did not have enough people for the 9 am tour and may need to cancel on us at the last minute. They found space for us the day before our tour date with a larger family, who had booked for the 2 pm tour. Be forewarned that they may indeed cancel see their fine print, in which case you will need to find an alternative at the last moment or, as seriously mentioned as an option by the booking agent, pay for an additional 3 people to run our tour. If other tours are available for San Diego, you might be better using another company...

I called the tour company as instructed 2 days prior to the scheduled tour. We waited outside the designated hotel and the van was a no-show so I called to find out the status. The lady asked if we could go the next day because she didn't know if a driver was available. We couldn't go any other day which is why I specifically chose this date/time to go. I didn't get any kind of apology or explanation why they forgot my reservation. She called back and said a driver would be there in 10 minutes to pick us up. So while Frank gave a very nice tour, the trip for my family started 25-30 minutes later than the rest of the folks on the van. So, be cautious with this tour group when booking a trip. I'm only giving this two stars-mostly for the cold response from the office staff and very little attentiveness to customer service. Otherwise, if you book this trip- ask for Frank as your guide.

Although it worked out, there was confusion prior to and during the tour confirmation process about being returned to our hotel after the additional excursion as stated on the website.Prior to the tour I had to escalate to Viator that the local tour company was not aware of or honoring the website content about returning us to our hotel. I was told we would be returned. However when we got on the tour the driver was unaware that he was to pick us up after the excursion for return to hotel and we had to escalate again. There needs to be better communication and/or removal from the website the verbiage about return to hotel after the additional excursion.
