My family of 4 did both tours yesterday. We only had enough time to do the tour around the inside of the prison before we had to leave to get back for the city tour. So there was a bunch of things we didn’t get to see but honestly we were ok with that. You could spend all day at Alcatraz just looking at all the buildings. The city tour was really comfy and fun. Plenty of stops and picture opportunities.

Thought it would be hassle free but what was told did not happen. Cheaper to book single trips. Alcatraz and Hope on and off bus. Nightmare time and missed out on city tour as just gave up running around get to g tickets. Waste of money having got 2 tickets.

Smiling and pleasant people needed at customer services desk. Due to constant flow of tourist, we experinced rude and grumy faces at customer service desk.City tour guides are nice.

Alcatraz tour is worth doing but the city tour included in this package is disappointing. Alcatraz is a must see attraction---historical and educational. Ticket redemption is tricky and can get a little confusing, so I would recommend that Alcatraz tickets be purchased separately instead of doing a combo tour.

We booked this tour with a hotel pick-up which was arranged and accepted. One week before leaving Canada they called and cancelled the pick-up saying they don't do pick-up at the hotel. We had to spend and extra 90 in Uber fees to get to the tour's starting location. Extremely disappointed that they accept hotel pick-up so that you will book the tour and then cancel the hotel pick-up._br/_ Great tours but a little disorganized between Alcatraz and San Francisco city tour. After the Alcatraz tour you are left on your own to walk to a different location, about 15 minutes walk. At that location there are no signs telling what bus to take._br/_ Great visit to Alcatraz and splendid views of the city with descriptions. Bus driver was very knowledgeable.

Alcatraz was very interesting ...especially with the self guided headsets. The tour was AWFUL. I think our driver was a fill-in because he did not know much about SF and nothing about the history!!!!!! Questions were not answered. SKIP!the city tour and go to ALCATRAZ or take another city tour.

Great organisation of bus tour and Alcatraz to manage to fit into one day. Also guarenteed tickets for Alcatraz which is sometimes difficult. Would highly recommend. Alcatraz is a must!

The Alcatraz and City Tour were great. Grey Line drivers were excellent, but the front office staff were not well informed or organized. The front office staff gave us conflicting information about where to meet for the Alcatraz tour. For the 8:45am Alcatraz tour there was NO HOTEL Pick up- even though the online information stated there was hotel pick up. We had to take a cab to Pier 41 to get a voucher and walk to Pier 33 to get another ticket for the Alcatraz ferry. It would make more sense to include the Alcatraz voucher in the online booking process.

Alcatraz was a great wonderful start to the day. The headseat tour was done extremely well. This tour was run by Greyline, which is pretty disorganized. The San Fran city tour was horrible. Would not recommend. The driver kept saying stereotypical comments about certain groups of people. I'm not even exactly sure what we saw- but I do remember seeing a nice view of this city afar and an interesting angle of the Golden gate bridge but VERY crowded. His commentary didn't really have a flow, and was pretty much all over the place. Me and my friend could not wait to be done with this tour. I would recommend one of the big buses with the open top deck. We had a motor coach bus where you couldn't see the buildings if you were in the aisle seat.

This is the most amazing tour in San Fran.the only thing is the hassle of exchanging your all ready purchased tickets for the actual tickets. It's a process!! Be warned! After all is situated you will have the time of your life!! It's a must!! Please have a better system of ticket process!

What a brilliant day! Alcatraz was brilliant and everyone who visits San Fran needs to go! Then we went on the tour bus and literally got shown around the whole city, was brilliant! The driver was full of information and it was a great way to visit the Golden Gate Bridge too. Would do it all again!

We got told the wrong time to show up so arrived 1 hour early and had to hang around. We also booked it thinking it was a hotel pick up and it wasn't. We enjoyed Alcatraz and it was very easy to do they just give you the paper work. It is worth mentioning that all tickets sell out for Alcatraz by 8am so you need to book in advance. _br/_ The second half was OK but it was in a big bus and you couldn't get close to some things. The driver was good we had a loud group on our bus and he asked them to be quiet. He was knowledgable and friendly. The bus drops you off back in centre.

The Alcatraz visit was awesome. The audio guides were extremely good, and it really was a great place to visit. The city tour took us over the Golden Gate Bridge and through many of the areas and streets of the city. A perfect combination.
