First I must thank our wonderful bus driver and man of much knowledge... JOSH/JOSHUA... he is he BEST. We had some extra time on the way to the woods so he gave us a tour of the city... passing Mrs. Doubtfires house...little tidbits about the tunnel that was painted the colors of Morks suspenders, things like that... play good music.. stopped once we got over the Golden Gate Bridge to take some photos. Muir Woods is a must see. we were very lucky in that it was not very crowded on our visit since now its by appointment only.. then went to Sausalito... not much there.. had a scoop of ice cream and then took the ferry back.. not a good idea.. the ferry I mean.. by the time you get back to shore the Pier is pretty deserted... better off returning by bus. other then that... it was great!!

PEACEFUL......Amazing such a place is so close to San Francisco....bus ride out to the woods was great and we had picture opportunities of the Golden Gate and the city scape before hitting the woods. Sausalito....excellent fish and chips for lunch...and enjoyed the ferry ride back to the city....great day....worth every penny.

Absolutely loved the Muir Woods section - we were taken out there, dropped off and given a little over an hour to wander and take it all in. Judging by the amount of cars also queuing up to get in, this was definitely an easier way to see it.

This was the best way to kick off our first visit to San Fran! Our guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and fun. The sites and amount of time were perfect and we were able to just walk around to the meeting point from our hotel in union square. We took the ferry back which helped us enjoy Sausalito in a more relaxing amount of time. Definitely would recommend!

It was an amazing trip. Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable about the places that we visited. He had a great sense of humor and made our trip memorable. Our first stop was at the visitor center of Golden Gate Bridge to take a quick picture and admire the scenery. _br/_ Then, we went onto our journey through Mt. Tamalpais which will then lead you to Muir Woods. Our tour guide Josh was nice to take your mind off of the road considering that you are going through a stiff, narrow two way road highway. I applauded his driving skills and talking at the same time about history. He'd even play music about either California or San Francisco!_br/_ And finally, to the place I've always wanted to visit, Muir Woods National Park. This place is beautiful and very serene. We had enough time to see the park and followed his recommendations on how to make the most of it. We were able to see the major sites, take lots of pictures and take a short hike back to the parking lot. I wish we had more time to take other hiking trails._br/_ We then stopped in Sausalito and had enough time to grab something to eat and stroll around this quaint city. You also have an option to take the ferry back to the city. He also gave some of us an option to hop off at different locations such as Pier 39 or Fishermen's Wharf, which are both major tourist spots in the city. For those of us that stayed on the bus, he continued to talk about the history of the city on our way back to Union Square.

Our tour guide was amazing. I forgot his name but he made the whole journey very enjoyable. If you don't take the ferry, you can still take the bus back to SF and they can drop you anywhere you want. Overall a great trip, but I found out that there's a shuttle you can take from SF to Sausalito, then to Muir woods, if I'm not mistaken. So, you might save a lot if you go yourself, because when you arrived at Muir woods you'll just explore it on your own.

Check-in process was hectic. We got bussed from one location to another and almost missed the bus because it left earlier than what we were told on the reservation. But other than that the tour was excellent and the bus driver did an outstanding job.

This was an excellent tour that we would highly recommend. Muir Woods is simply awe-inspiring to see so many large, majestic redwoods. It is a very easy walk at a liesurely pace to see much of the Woods. Sausalito is also very interesting with some great restaurants. Highly recommend booking the tour with the option to stay in Sausalito and take the ferry back to San Francisco. If you do, be sure to check the ferry schedule and plan your day accordingly as the ferries do not run that often. Our guide recommended Scomas for lunch and the Ciopinno Soup seafood and we were not disappointed. All in all, a great tour!

We had been to Muir Woods before so this tour was disappointing because the bus ride was most of the time. There was not enough time in the actual park. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting and of course the park is beautiful and was worth the short stay.

The trip to Muir Woods was really awe-inspiring even in the rain. The hour in Sausalito in the rain was a meh. While the tour description mentioned hotel pickup, and the confirmation e-mail mentioned what time to be at the hotel door for the pickup, and when the reservation clerk confirmed that the bus would be at my specific hotel at 8am, I believed them all. The pickup never came and I was left scrambling to take an Uber to the bus headquarters at my expense to get on the tour on time. Very disappointing.
