My husband and I loved this tour of the Muir Woods and three wineries in Sonoma and Napa. The Muir woods are magical and I would love to explore them even more. The wineries were great too. Great tour for couples. Our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable about the area.

I did this when I was on a solo trip in San Francisco. I wanted to see both Muir Woods and go to Napa valley, but wasn’t sure the best way to do this since I didn’t have a car and only was there for three days. Our tour guide/driver was amazing and the wineries we stopped at were great. Although I was the only solo traveler, I was able to make friends and thoroughly enjoy my visit. It was the highlight of my trip.

I wish we would have spent more time at the Woods. There was an awful lot of driving between wineries and we only spent 45 minutes at each. The first one was boring, he kept you in the cold warehouse droning on about wine making. The second was very pleasant, but again, only 45 minutes, the last was Cline, which has a farm. Again, Not enough time. Felt very rushed at the two wineries I liked. I was glad I got the gourmet lunch, cause others on our tour took their chances with food and were disappointed. Overall, I'm glad I did the tour as I'm unsure I'll ever be back to Sonoma/Napa. Note: If tour operator asks where you want to be dropped off, just say your hotel! She gave us the option of Lombard Street, she dropped us off 4 blocks away, we had to walk uphill to get to top of Lombard, all while carrying wine purchase. Ruined the day for us!

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Ben was awesome. Very knowledgeable of San Francisco and the surrounding area. Muir Woods were amazing and we got see wineries_br/_ In both Napa and Sonoma. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Had a great stress free tour. Got to learn a lot from Roman out driver/director. He’s a got a great personality and made the tour full of laughs. The woods was amazing and the wine tour was was perfect. We prepaid for lunch and it was very good. There was no pressure to buy anything extra. Highly recommend this trip.

We've really enjoyed this tour. Lars, the tour guide, was amazing. One of the best tour guides ever. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and funny. I also liked all three wineries we visited. This is a very convenient way if visiting Napa. We also enjoyed our visit to Muir Woods. I suggest participants to take a coat with them as the woods was chilly in morning hours.

This tour requires a large chunk of your time, but if you have it, it's well worth it. Don't just go for the Wine Country part and skip Muir Woods; Muir Woods was better than we expected. The redwoods are huge, and the woods are very clean. Just bring a sweater because it is much colder in the woods than it is just before you enter. Be sure to check out both gift shops, as they are quite different. A camera or smartphone is a must. The road there is VERY winding and it can be scary for those who are afraid of heights; this should be taken into consideration. The bus was great, as was our young driver.

Our female bus driver was not only a great driver around the mountains of Muir Woods, but was also knowledgeable about Muir Woods history and wine making in the greater San Francisco area. Muir Woods was a delight of nature with wooden railed paths. Each winery had its own identity and was enjoyable to hear about. Was a timely, organized tour but allowed for a surprise stop that overlooked the Golden Gate Bridge because of clear skies (No Karl). Thank you even without the Gourmet Lunch.

So glad we booked this trip last minute (the day before). So worth the $$. The driver was so friendly and gave a great entertaining commentary throughout the day. Muir Woods was beautiful with just enough time for a walk through. All three wineries were different and we got to taste excellent wines from the Sanoma and Napa regions. We decided to get our own lunch and there were plenty of options available in the Sanoma plaza with enough time there to eat, get ice cream and then walk around the square. If you’re wanting to do a day trip to the wineries and see Muir Woods - do this trip. We loved it!

LARS was our driver and guide. He is from the Netherlands - and he has such a great personality. Muir Woods was something we adored. Loved the connections this gorgeous place has - to Star Wars and George Lucas. The wine tour was great as well - going to two wineries in Sonoma and one in Napa Valley. Loved the wines - and no pressure to have to buy! And being on our own in Sonoma - having lunch wherever we chose - and getting to shop - was delightful. A MUST WHEN YOU ARE IN SAN FRANCISCO!!!!

I had considered renting a car and doing this on my own. I am very happy I made the choice to do the tour. We had ample time to walk Muir Woods and then visit three vineyards. All three vineyards were ready and waiting for us with samples of wine and education about the wines and vineyards. I am very pleased with the value of this tour.

It was a nice balance between nature, food-drink, and people. The driver had a great knowledge of the area and presented it in a relaxed, casual manner. His suggestions seemed right on the mark for this day's festivities. The Redwoods were majestic as the wine tasting was generous. I'll do this again in a heart beat. It was the fastest day of our trip by far!

Trip is great. We visited some good winery and the wine was all fantastic. Our tour guide Aoka is friendly and helpful. There was one thing we were no satisfied was that they did not put our name in the list and just that close we cannot join the tour!! The Muir Woods hike is easy and there are many excellent selections for lunch. Great tour guide who gave us extra by stopping at the Presidio to give us a phot op of the Golden Gate bridge.

This was a trip i took with a friend for her retirement. We decided to go with this group, versus renting a car. Very good, but our bus lost air conditioning during the trip, which was really bad. There should have been a back up bus, ready with working air conditioning, especially as some of us did partake of wine, and when you combine drinking wine with no cool air, not good, I for one got irritable with that.

Wow! This was our favorite tour on our San Francisco vacation! As always, the Muir Woods are amazing - we all wished we'd had a little more time there but wine tasting was waiting! We went into both Sonoma and Napa, and visited 3 really decent wineries. We also did the gourmet lunch, which was very nice and a good way to visit with some of the other folks on our tour. The only negative was that the bus got pretty warm when we were in wine country it was in the 90's, and the AC just wasn't doing the job. Luckily, the driver took us up to the Marin overlook on the way back, and we all got a chance to cool off, stretch our legs and get some amazing photos of the city and Golden Gate. HIGHLY recommend this tour!
