This is a terrific tour for anyone visiting San Francisco or for anyone who lives in SF and wants to know more about their community. Tour guide Kathy is a wonderful knowledgeable person who has lived in the Castro for at least a decade. She knows the history of the community as well as the history of human rights in her country. I can't recommend this tour enough. Other people in our tour group today were interested and enthusiastic and a pleasure to be with. Take this tour - you'll love it!

This tour really was an amazing experience. We went through the events and the great people that made history in this neighborhood and that had an impact in the whole word. I had goosebumps throughout it. I highly recommend it as there are so many hidden gems in these streets that you could not discover by yourselves. And Kathy is a great host! Kathy was not only informative, but patient and very in touch with everyone's needs. She always starts the tour trying to learn everyone's names and what they want to get out of the tour. She spents the entire tour trying to include things for everyone included and goes at a pace that allows people who are slower to not get worn out while active people like myself don't get fidgety or bored because there is so much to see. She keeps it interesting, includes current events, and shares everything she can with the group : She is a sweetheart and I will highly recommend any friends visiting San Fransisco book this tour!
