Atacama Salt Flats, Toconao and Altiplanic Lagoons Day Trip

Enjoy a day trip to the Atacama Salt Flats. Visit Toconao and the Altiplanic Lagoons to admire the incredible landscapes and enjoy a day away from the hustle and bustle. Your tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off.
We started picking up all our passengers from 06:30 am. From their respective hotels (approximate travel time between 30min hotels). Our first stop will be after approximately 1 hour of travel in the Miscanti and Miñiques highland lagoons located at 4200 m.s.n.m. In these lagoons breakfast is taken and the fauna of the place can be appreciated.
The next visit is the Salar de Talar, known as Piedras Rojas, the beauty of the place will leave you speechless.
We continue to our next stop in the Atacameño village of Socaire, where you can observe the terraces of cultivation and the village church.
Then visit the Salar de Atacama, Chile's largest salt lake, where the national flamingo reserve is located and the Chaxa lagoon is visited to watch 3 types of flamingos, as well as other species that inhabit the lagoons of the to Salt.
As the last stop we can visit the town of Toconao where we will appreciate the fantastic architecture of the bell tower and the village church, to return to San Pedro de Atacama around 17:00 hours.
It was okay. I was a bit disappointed with the lagoons...maybe the time of day early morning isn't great to see the blue colours these lagoons are known for.
