This walking tour was excellent. Our local tour guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. She was born and raised within the walls of Sienna and had many colorful stories to tell along with the history and culture of the town. The Siena Duomo was the most elaborate and beautiful that we had seen throughout Italy. We would highly recommend this tour if you are going to visit Sienna while you are in Italy.

Small group of about twelve of us. Exceptional tour guide who spoke English well. Tour guide took the time to familiarize us with the rivalries between different zones of the city. No rush to hurry up and finish the tour. The tour ends inside the Dom so you can take additional time exploring there.

The Siena Cathedral us one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen. Our guide, Claudia was fantastic, knew her stuff and shared her knowledge in an engaging manner. Siena is so beautiful, really cute medieval town. definitely worth a visit. Inside the duomo is incredible. It is so ornate everything from floor to ceiling is covered in art. Warning it is very touristy so can get very busy inside.

The tour was not well paced and the guide spent a disproportionate amount of time discussing the horse races. It would not have been so but, if she would have guided us to visit the Ospedale di Santa Maria Della Scala on our own. However, it was not even mentioned. Also, the guide did not speak English as well as expected. She was difficult to hear and understand. We were disappointed.

Well worth the money and in our case it was like having a personal guide as there were only 3 people on it. No head sets required. We had the chance to ask a lot of questions that possibly in a large group would not have been possible. Claudia was a competent and confident guide and spoke English perfectly. If anything we would have liked it to last a little longer and perhaps focused on Siena history more than the religious aspects but it was still fascinating.

This was a great tour, with a very engaging and well informed guide. The Basilica San Domenico is very beautiful and unusual relative to other Tuscan churches we saw which we would not have seen had we not taken this tour check out the views of the Duomo from the piazza in front of the basilica. The Siena Duomo is the highlight though, in my view this is the most beautiful cathedral I have seen don't miss the library, much more beautiful and accessible than the Florence Duomo and I would say ahead even of St Peter's in Rome in my personal opinion. Skip the line was essential given the queue in the square mid August. Only caveat is that 2 hours can only be an introduction to the history and architecture of this wonderful city!

This tour was incredible-I highly recommend the tour company. We were in Siena on Palio day and there was a mix up in our booking (mostly my fault). They sent someone to meet us anyways and gave us a private, personal tour of Siena with added special tips related to the Palio. Our favorite tour!

We enjoyed our walking tour of Siena with Claudia. Claudia's english, knowledge and personality were all excellent! We learned about the seventeen contrade and the Palio. We especially enjoyed our visit to the beautiful Duomo. We had a bit of a parking problem because our Wednesday morning tour coincided with market day in Siena. If your tour is on a Wednesday do leave extra time to park and get to the meeting spot.

Our guide, Claudia, was great. She is a native of Siena and provided great insight into the annual horse race and made the tour very enjoyable.
