Overall a good tour given the price you pay which is cheap so my expectations weren't too high. The pickup service and bus was well organized. Unfortunately I went on the last Sunday in the month so cars and buses are not allowed downtown. This affected two destinations but instead we saw the Chinese Budda Temple which had a ceremony going on when we were there so that was nice and went up Mount Faber with all the other buses and tourists which was quite crowded. It is the highest viewing point around the city other than in a building. The highlight of the tour was the Orchid Gardens where we had ample time. The lowlight was the Little India visit which was not much to see. This is also were the tour ended.

The tour started promptly and we were guided by a knowledgeable Singaporean who passed on his enthusiasm for his home city. There was plenty to see and learn about. China town and India Town were interesting and encouraged us to visit them in more detail. The Orchids were magnificent. All in all very interesting and a good introduction to Singapore.

Good afternoon tour around Singapore if youre only there for a few days as we were. Really helpful to be collected from our hotel and returned there. Took in some lovely sights and our tour guide was knowledgeable but at times did speak to us as if he was addressing children on a school trip, especially with regards to being back at the coach on time! To be honest I dont see the point of going to Little India. There is nothing to see there. I think most people would have preferred to have longer at the Orchid Garden at the Botanical Gardens. Either that or there needs to be another place of interest to visit instead of Little India, perhaps China Town which has much more to see. When we got back to the coach after 10 minutes in Little India we were then put back in the taxi but it wasnt explained properly that we were not going back to the original starting place in the coach. Luckily I remembered that I had left some souvenirs on the coach seat. Most people were not aware that this was the end of the tour as it came to an end rather abruptly. But it was good value for money as it was over 2 hours long and if youre only in Singapore for a short time then this is a great way of getting a feel for the place.

I wish we would have had more time to walk around at the sites we visited. It was very condensed and very rushed. These sites are all free with no charge to enter them. You can walk to most of them if you are staying in the Marina area or take a taxi to them which also is really reasonable.

The tour covers one part of the city - particularly Chinatown and Little India and you see the famous sites such as the lion/fish symbol of Singapore by the harbour. If you have not got much time, or just want an orientation tour this covers the basics well. The stops that occur are reasonable in length so you do not feel rushed. The Botanic garden concentrates on the Orchid garden which is well worth seeing.

This tour is one of two 1/2 day city tours offered by Viator/Trip Advisor. I have done both the second one to accompany family members on their first time in Singapore. Both offer similar itineraries, but this company includes a visit to a Chinese temple in Chinatown rather than just offloads people for a few minutes in Pagoda St, so it was more interesting. The driver was very well spoken but talked at great length about Singapore real estate and public housing - which is interesting and unique to S'pore but perhaps not in such a great detail.

This tour suited our needs but could have been a lot better. We couldn't understand the guide when he was giving the information on the coach, he didn't speak clearly enough and at each stop stayed at the coach rather than guide us at the sites. _br/_ Also it finished far earlier than expected, before the 4 hours, so we could have more time at the botanic gardens for example.

Ive taken quite a number of tours through Viator and Ive enjoyed most of them. I was expecting this tour to be equally interesting and insightful. Instead, we were merely brought from one spot to the next with very little information from the tour guide. We could have done the tour ourselves on a cab or Uber and would have spent much less.

This was good and well led. However the content maybe needs re- consideration. The walk around Little India was a bit rushed and sadly didn't include the temple. Nor did it include the famous Mosque. Too much time was spent on/at the new Marina area. Many people had already seen it on a boat trip. It was still enjoyable though.

While on the bus en route from place to place, the guide did commentary, but his accent was so heavy we could not understand most of what he said. At each stop we were simply told what time to be back at the bus, then were left to figure things out on oue own. The one thing we were able to understand was the guide telling us emphatically at each stop that if we were late getting back to the bus, the tour would leave us there._br/_ To make matters worse, one couple brought a baby on the tour, who cried for 3 hours. The mom tried to distract her by singing and providing a toy that made a very loud sound like a cat meowing. We listened to that for 3 HOURS! We finally left the tour in Little India and took a taxi back on our own.

A reasonable entre to guage Singapores attractions. Our tour guide was good and clearly loved her city with boundless enthusiasm. Well worth the money and 'viators' should do this trip first in their itinerary. We did this then the following: D2. am Orchard Road, pm Clarkes Quay. D3 am Zoo tram pm China Town and trishaw.
