Alex and Gio picked us up promptly at 9:15am. They were wonderful! Alex’s English was perfect and his knowledge of all the different areas along the Amalfi Coast was great! He allowed us to customize the tour as we wanted, made sure we had lots of amazing photos and recommended a wonderful place to eat lunch overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Amazing experience!!!

Our tour guide Alex Scellok was just amazing! Alex met us at the port of Sorrento and was very friendly and enthusiastic. We only had about six hours to visit the towns and ports of the Amalfi coast and the many other beautiful locations, but Alex and his driver, Enrico Di Biase, made sure to get as much as possible accomplished during our day tour including a beautiful lunch with a view of the amazing Amalfi coast including a stop at the beautiful Piccadilly Ceramiche factory and most importantly a visit with a Limoncello producer for tastings and purchases. Excellent and well-informed tour and visit of the Amalfi coast - many great memories and pictures. Thank you, Alex and Enrico, for the tour, the legends, the pictures, and the singing!

We usually don't do private drives, but wow this was worth every penny. The driver, Giovani was really great, knowledgeable and spoke English well. If we wanted to stop for any reason, he was very helpful and accommodating. Plus while driving he was happy to teach us some Italian, while we taught him some English words.

Our guide was very congenial but had very little flexibility. I suggested we might want to visit some places other than the city centers but he ignored that suggestion. It would have been much cheaper and much the same to have taken a small group tour. In Italy there is a significant difference between a driver and a guide. Within the confines of his job our driver did a good job. And he took us to a very nice family owned restaurant outside of town. The traffic was horrible and there was not much to do but shop. Although the views are amazing I would probably have skipped this tour if I had known it was mostly for shopping.

Pepe Is the best driver on the Amalfi Coast! Traffic was horrific but he made the trip relaxing, beautiful, and fun! He picked us up on time and took us to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. He gave us great tips on what to do, including a magical place for lunch! Bravo Pepe!

Great tour of the Amalfi Coast!_br/_ Our driver was friendly, from the area and spoke English flawlessly._br/_ He picked us up at our hotel in Sorrento and drove to Ravello where he let us out to explore for an hour._br/_ From there we started back on the winding roads through Amalfi, where he dropped us off to look around._br/_ Lunch was next and we invited him to join us and take us to a favorite restaurant if his, Locanda Costa Diva._br/_ Amazing fresh seafood restaurant perched on the Bay of Naples!_br/_ After lunch we went to Positano and again spent time looking around town before heading back o Sorrento._br/_ A totally enjoyable day, no worries about driving the Amalfi Drive, or parking impossible at each stop._br/_ Could not have been better!

Great tour along the most beautiful coastline in Europe. The driver was excellent with a good humor, the guide though could have been a little more informative. If you go on this tour you might want to skip the Emerald Cave not much to it. It was not a part of the tour, but was offered to us. In stead we would have preferred to spend more time in Amalfi town. But all in all a wonderful tour.

This was an amazing tour. What an amazing finish to our Italy trip. The company was very accommodating to our travel needs picking us up on time and dropping us off at the end of the day also on time as arranged without missing a spot during our day trip. Our driver Pepe was just the best, he was amazing! He would bring us to the perfect spots for pictures and stop at any corner he could per request for more pictures. He took us to a great pizza place and also to the Grotto dello Smeraldo which was a surprise for us. He kept us in track with the time so we were able to visit and enjoy Positano, Amalfi and Ravello and drove us back through the back roads for a final surprise of a stunning view of Mt. Vesuvius during sunset. Totally recommend this tour and our driver Pepe.

Brilliant day out with a great driver and tour guide, Rossiario. The day was real pleasure, Rossario was relaxed and careful driver who negotiated the crowds, traffic and winding roads will skill and ease. This tour was great way to see the villages of the Amalfi coast, the itinerary was flexible and negotiated with the driver, his recommendation for lunch was excellent. The meal was very good quality and the view was perfect. I highly rate this tour and congratulate Rossiario for making the day so enjoyable and a wonderful experience.

Really fantastic experience. Our driver was very friendly and informative about the region. We had time to walk around the villages and stopped at picturesque vistas along the way to take pictures of the beautiful countryside. Also, we were taken to a lovely restaurant for lunch with an amazing view and great food.

This was the most amazing tour!! Our driver Giovanni was so incredibly nice and easy to spend the day with. He picked us up in a very nice touring mercedes for our trip down the coast. Definitely spend any extra money so you don't do this tour in a big bus or a with lot of people. He always pulled over and pointed our great viewpoints for pictures and took many pics of us along the way. He knew how to expedite the travel along the coast. We ended driving to the farthest town first b because he knew that the road would get busy on the way back with the big tour buses and then stopping at each little town for us to spend some private time exploring each one for and hour or so. In positano he suggested a restaurant not visited by all the tourists. It was high on the hill overlooking the ocean and the town with the most amazing view and he prearranged the best table in the house. I can't say enough about this tour and our driver. I highly recommend it. It was the highlight of our trip.

He pointed out boys of viewing places for the best pictures and took many pics of us. He knew how to expedite the drive because he knew the tour buses would become very busy by driving to the farthest town first and stopping in each town on the way back and let us stop and explore each one for an hour or so. Then in Positano he suggested a local restaurant not visited by all the tourists, high on the hill with the most amazing view and prearranged the best table in the house for us. This trip was truly the highlight of our trip. I would recommend a smaller group so you can go in a car rather than a tour bus for sure.. Thank you Giovanni

Our driver, Gionni, made this trip absolutely wonderful! The trip was expensive, but I absolutely think it was worth it. He was friendly, spoke English very well, and took us to all the best locations! We were on our honeymoon and he made lunch reservations for us at this fantastic restaurant overlooking Positano. It was so special, and we will have memories to last a life time. He knew all the right places to stop for pictures, ceramics etc. If you can do it, I highly suggest you splurge on this tour!

Was a fun day and the guide was very informative and the driver was amazing and pleasant. I think you'd be better served taking a bus to the locations though so you could spend more time. Lunch option was scenic but worst meal we had in Italy.

We took the private tour with driver and guide. My friends and I took this tour because we thought we would get something really special and spend as much time we wanted and stop at the best picturesque sites as they passed. In the end we could have done the same tour and probably get the same experience from a group tour or from a hop on/ hop off bus tour. We went to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello but only stayed like 30 minutes per area. There were 2-3 pieces of trivia given per city but I guess you would have received the same from a group tour. Many times we asked to stop but we could not because the guide thought it was dangerous to stop. Unusual because other tourists with rented cars were stopping as well.

Guide and driver excellent we wouldn and #39;t have done as much without them. Tailored the tour to our wishes found a really good restaurant and returned a different way to visit a hotel we had first visited 28 years ago on our first rtrip to the Amalfi.

The description says limited English but our driver, Manuel, was quite fluent. And terrific. He was lively, interactive, and fun. A pretty good singer, too. He knew the best way to approach the route to avoid some of the crowds. He tweaked the schedule to our request to spend more time in Positano and was patient with us when we got back to the car late. We felt completely safe the whole time. The car was spotless and very comfortable. Worth every penny!

This was a perfect way to see the coast. My husband and I were both able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and stroll through the towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello at our own pace. Our driver, Rosario was great. He had been driving the area for years and was able to point out places of interest along the road and answered all of our many questions. We would do this again over a bus tour.

We loved our private tour of the Amalfi Coast. Based on other reviews, we requested Giavonni as our driver. He definitely lived up to our expectations. He made the day perfect for us. We were traveling with our daughter who had just graduated from college and he related to all of us! The sights were stunning and we were able to customize our time in each area. This was a very enjoyable trip. Rosario our driver picked us up at our hotel and could not have been more professional and friendly. We did not book the guide option and this did not detract at all as Rosario was very knowledgable and his English was very good. Rosario stopped at various scenic points along the route so that we could take photographs. At each of the stops, Rosario advised us where to go and we were then at liberty to explore on our own. Before our last stop at Positano, Rosario recommended a lovely restaurant for lunch with stunning views - we would never have found this if Rosario had not recommended. While this was quite an expensive trip due to only bring two of us, we would highly recommend it and it was well worth the money.

It was a wonderful day excursion in a private car in early October that was well worth the fee. Johnnie, our driver was great. Although he wasn't a guide, he pointed out interesting sites and features of this amazing coastline. He also took us to a wonderful restaurant high above Positano that had very simple but amazingly fresh and homemade food. One of the best dining experiences we had in our 3 week stay in Italy. Don't do buses heresplurge on a private car... you won't regret it.

This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip to Sorrento! Giovanni Johnny was wonderful. He spoke great English, was polite, funny and was focused on making sure we had a great day. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and was very flexible if we wanted to stay in one place a little longer. He was punctual and arrived early to pick us up at the hotel. He took us to a wonderful place for lunch with impeccable food and a stunning view. Driving the winding road back to Sorrento Johnny played the most wonderful music. I will always remember listening to him and my mom sing Italian songs all the way home. It was like something out of a movie. Thank you Johnny for making this truly an unforgettable day that both of us will cherish forever.
