Set sail with an experienced crew as they serve up scrumptious snacks before your 3-course meal. All you have to do is relax on deck with a drink in hand from the open bar and watch the stars! Numbers are limited to 16 on this small-group tour, ensuring a personalized experience.
Make your way to your meeting location and embark on your dinner cruise from Simpson Bay. Aboard the Passaat, a 100-foot (30-meter) sailing schooner built in 1911, there’s ample room to lie out on deck and enjoy an unforgettable evening. As the sun sets, your experienced crew will turn off the engine, allowing the wind to carry the sails for a relaxing ride. Watch the last of the sunlight glimmer over the clear Caribbean Sea as you soar along the southwest coastline of St Maarten. Enjoy unlimited drinks from the open bar, including wine, beer, rum punch, soda or juice—accompanied by snacks like homemade veggie pizza and French cheese. You’ll receive personable service from the crew as you dine on your 3-course dinner, served on board while the schooner is anchored. Start with mixed salad served with French bread; then choose a main course of mahi mahi filet with mango sauce or Caribbean chicken curry—each with rice, plantains and veggies. Top off a joyous evening under star-scattered skies with coffee and coconut cream pie for dessert! Watch for shooting stars as your crew returns you back to shore, completing your 3.5-hour evening sail.
Very pleasant evening, good care, great meal, family atmosphere. A little unexpected that the meal was actually served after the sunset, however that allowed us to fully enjoy both separately. :-

This was a beautiful experience, and the highlight of our trip to St Martin. We have a timeshare on the island and have visited many times but have never experienced an evening sail. Our hosts, Miriam and Peter were extremely welcoming and accommodating. We were on board The Passat with about 12 other people, and had a wonderful sail and conversation while we sailed into the sunset. After sunset, we returned to their mooring in the calm bay and enjoyed a wonderful dinner with our newfound friends. My wife had Chicken and Curry, and I had a delicious Mahi Mahi. There were plenty of drinks including non alcoholic and wonderful company. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone, younger or older. It was awesome.

What a wonderful evening. Very friendly, informative hosts who couldn't do anymore. Made everyone welcome which also ensured we all interacted with each other. Sailed to ensure we got best views of sunset and other sights. Finished with a very nice meal which was also served by the crew.

This was one of our top three experiences while on our 2 weeks vacation here. It was such a small, intimate group that went out. We sailed and watched the sunset while be provided with appetizers and drinks. After the sunset we began to sail back to Simpson bay while be treated to a wonderful dinner prepared right there on the boat. It was a lovely evening, very relaxing and romantic. We will definitely be doing this again! Perfect experience and very well priced for everything that it is.

Marian and Peter were the greatest hosts, Peter, the Captain, really knows his ship and handled her beautifully and we had some rainy spots along the way and he made sure we stayed ahead as much as you can with a sailboat. You felt more like friends over for dinner than a " cruise".The food was great and home cooked, homemade mango chutney yum. _br/_
You can't always control the weather, so don't base a review on whether there was a sunset, that's silly. Base it on the personal experience, Marian and Peter are wonderful and you'll enjoy yourselves very much.
