If you're arriving to St. Thomas via a cruise ship and only have one day, why don't you spend a few hours exploring a water park? Coral World Ocean Park is perfect and fun for people of all ages, so jump off your ship and come explore 5 acres (217,000 sq. feet) of aquatic paradise!
There's so much to do at Coral World! You can stay dry while viewing an extraordinary array of marine life in the open ocean through the windows of the undersea observatory or get wet with Sea Trek, the ultimate helmet dive! Pet a shark, touch a starfish or sea cucumber, swim with the amazingly agile sea lions and have in-water encounters you'll never forget!
Other exhibits include the Caribbean Reef Encounter, Sea Turtle Pool and Marine Gardens; 21 jewel-like aquariums displaying a wide variety of marine life, from tiny seahorses to giant lobsters.
Coral World is adjacent to Coki Beach, which offers some of the best snorkeling in the Virgin Islands. Admission allows all day re-entry from the beach and access to showers.

Other activities which are available for purchase within the park include Sea Trek, Shark Encounter, Snuba, Turtle Encounter, Sea Lion Encounter, Sea Lion Swim, Semi-Submarine and more!
Please note: this is an admission ticket only and grants you access to all exhibits within the park. Additional activities are available at an extra cost.
This excursion is located just a short taxi ride away from the cruise port so you determine the time you return to your ship in St Thomas. Please allow yourself ample time to enjoy the excursion and ensure your timely return to the port. This excursion is not covered by our Worry-free policy.
Our guide was great, but the Ocean Park was a little disappointing. It was much smaller than we thought it would be... We did enjoy the snorkeling and beach next to the Park though!

This was a neat park where petting stingrays was included in the general park admission, as is a pool where you can feel starfish and sea urchins. Underground aquariums had a variety of sea creatures to see. Cab fare is currently $9/person each way to get there (20-25 min). Confirm with your driver before getting in that you are going straight back to the cruise ship if you're on a time limit (not related to the actual park)! Small iguanas wandering all around, which was fun. At the beach, umbrella rental was $10 and lounge chairs were $5 each. Park staff were friendly and helpful.

Very enjoyable afternoon, the people at Coral World were knowledgeable about the sharks and other aquatic life. The young man who took us in shark shallows was awesome! Only negative $20 taxi ride per person on top of the admission price!

This is a small park and doesn't take long to do...There is no transportation there from Viators so you have to catch a taxi or shuttle and that can be expensive if more than 2 people going....I would like Viators to provide transportation to and from and then you don't have to worry...but we enjoyed ourselves

We very much enjoyed Coral World. Unfortunately our friends who were to join us were caught in the bad snow storm that hit the east coast! They missed the cruise and vacation with us. I contacted Viator for refund of 2 tickets we could not use but I recieved no response from them I am disappointed.

It would have been nice to have been met at the port gate and be a round trip included in the price since I have mobility issues but the excursion was at my pace and very enjoyable. Considering the time of year, it was very pleasant and comfortable.
