Don’t miss hanging out with the locals at Seal Island, especially at feeding time, and meet the aquarium’s most mischievous inhabitants in the Otter Empire. Hold on tight when you come face-to-face with huge sharks in the Shark Shipwreck, and see rescued sea turtles hanging out in the Turtle Temple.

If you are in the Sunshine Coast area and have a few hours spare it is worth taking a trip to Underwater World. Primarily geared at kids and little ones it has enough of a fascination for a short trip. The highlight is the seal show with an opportunity for a photo shoot with a talented seal. More shows would certainly keep you there longer, but it is none the less a fun quirky place.

Good fun with the kids. Wouldn't be worth paying the full-priced entrance cost. Some of the information not as visible as it could have been, eg. about the various species in the tunnel tank._br/_ Whilst being able to see the seal show from below would be kind of cool, if I was swimming with the seals, I'd wear shorts as I suspect there are some viewing from below for their own enjoyment.
