The Florida Aquarium in Tampa Bay is offering cruises aboard a 72-foot, 130-passenger catamaran, officially named Bay Spirit II. The Aquarium has partnered with the Tampa Port Authority in order to bring this important project to life. Also included is admission to the Florida Aquarium.

We went on the cruise but we did not see any Dolphins, disappointed but it was a nice day. All the guide talked about was fertilizer, boring.

Sadly, no dolphins on our trip so can't give it a higher rating. We also couldn't hear the announcements very well so missed the commentary by the Captain. What we did hear was more about the Tampa bay area/land than about dolphins. I think it would have been more interesing to hear facts about dolphins vs. the radioactive dump site we went by. The boat itself was clean and comfortable.

The presenter for lack of a better term of the dolphin cruise was WONDERFUL, very friendly and engaging. The boat was comfortable and amble seating. The inside bartender on the other hand couldn't have been less interested in helping anyone. Very rude and did not acknowledge you upon walking in, was only interested in looking at her phone and hardly looked up to help you after minutes of standing in front of her. Very extremely rude. She is the only part of the cruise that I would have changed. Other than that, very wonderful experience, lots of fun!

We were disappointed with the dolphin cruise. We had taken our daughter and grandson. We did not see any dolphins or any other kind of see life. It didn't look like a place where you would ever see any dolphins. The sound system was broken, so the portable microphone was very hard to hear. The aquarium itself was enjoyable and educational.

I highly recommend the FL Aquarium Dolphin Cruise. We saw about 15 dolphins, numerous stingrays, pelicans and seagulls. The tour guide was knowledgeable and obviously enjoys his job. This is a great tour for all ages. We also learned a lot about dolphin and other sea life behavior.

Didn't have any dolphin swim up close or come up very high in the water. Did see a lot of them from a distance which was still fun. It was a relaxing and fun time with our little grand daughter.

Enjoyed our visit to Florida Aquarium. Went on the dolphin cruise but unfortunately, did not see any wild dolphin. Perhaps winter is not the best time to go on a dolphin tour.

Well organized. The staff of the Florida Aquarium were well trained in dealing with tourists, full of enjoyment of their job. Do not go expecting to be guaranteed an encounter with dolphins, though we did, but to enjoy the bay, and all the interesting facts and conversations regarding the history of the area. For the price, it was well worth the couple of hours on the water. All in all, a good tourist value, which included the Aquarium admission.

It was hard to see the dolphins as they were on the opposite side of the boat. Instead of turning the boat so everyone could see they just stayed in place. I would have liked to see more wildlife in the area vs. having staff explain all the local industry. This was supposed to be wildlife based and I got very little of that.

Aquarium was good, well laid out and pleasant staff. 800 CS # was awful, "receptionist Margaret" never available when called to confirm. Saw maybe 3 dolphins on cruise, $ didn't exactly match experience. Parking was disorganized.

Very enjoyable. Lovely to get out on the water with a knowledgeable guide. I would have liked more basic stuff explained like pointing out more of the local sights and talking about where we were. But it was well organised, friendly and safe. Thoroughly recommend.

The cruise was amazing. The guide was very informative. It is definitely an eco friendly cruise. Saw three dolphins on the tour. The crew on the boat did not chase them. We just sat back and observed them. Tour was ok for the price.

I would recommend this trip to anyone that is visiting Tampa. I didn't get to see very many dolphins on my tour, however, the tour guide Amy, I believe was very informative about Tampa Bay and it's surroundings.

The staff is friendly, but interpretation is very light and for the cost it leaves you wanting more. The Tampa aquarium itself is shockingly poor when it comes to exhibitions and one on one interactions with docents or anyone that can help you understand Florida's water ecosystem. If you have been to the Shedd Aquarium or the Vancouver Aquarium or any other aquarium of a larger urban centre you will be disappointed. If this will be your first aquarium visit, then at least you won't know all the great things that could be done but the Florida aquarium doesn't have or do. _br/_

It was just okay. We did get to see 2 dolphins. It was brief and then we turned around and headed back to the aquarium. After seeing those two dolphins, we were hoping to keep going because we hadn't seen anything the entire tour, but....It was just okay.

My sisters and I enjoyed the tour. We were disappointed that we did not see any dolphins, it would have been a real treat for my sisters visiting from New York, but one cannot control nature. We enjoyed ourselves inspite of the weather and the absence of the dolphins, I would recommend the tour and would go on it again,.

The trip was just ok, didn't see much and the boat dolphin spotter seemed a bit clueless - didn't seem to realize that dolphin swimming toward the boat would swim under and come up on the opposite side. _br/_
The truth is I saw more dolphin up close in the canal at the hotel.
