We six of two generations took this private tour in February. The contents of the tour were mostly different than those advertised when booking, only the Museo de Malvasia was included. But, that was no problem at all - the tour was really a great experience. There was a lot of room in the big minivan. In addition to our highly knowledgeable guide Alexis, we were accompanied by a local enologist and two professionals from the company running the wineries we visited. We saw four different ways to cultivate wines, tasted wines on spot at two vineyards and finally a large variety of wines and other drinks in the lush back garden of the Museo de Malvasia, with plentiful snacks enough for lunch. During our driving periods, including long stretches of beautiful minor roads, Alexis also taught as a lot about the geology, nature and living conditions of the island.
