Small Group Niagara Falls Tour from Toronto with Lunch and Hornblower Cruise

Toronto, Canada

Experience Niagara Falls on this 9.5-hour day tour from Toronto. Skip the lines and enjoy a Niagara-on-the-Lake guided bus tour and a Hornblower Niagara boat cruise. This tour includes hotel pickup and drop off, lunch, and a complimentary wine tasting!

This luxury 9.5-hours sightseeing tour from Toronto starts with pickup from your hotel, followed by a 1.5-hour drive to Niagara Falls. Along the way, you'll visit the Whirlpool Rapids to experience the natural phenomenon of the Niagara River. You'll arrive at the Falls at 10:45 am and then after, enjoy a 20 minute boat ride aboard a Hornblower cruise, or choose between the Journey Behind the Falls experience or admission to the Skylon Tower.

At 1:30pm, enjoy a full Canadian buffet lunch at the Sheraton Fallsview Restaurant, located in the Sheraton Hotel Penthouse Level. Savor a tasty meal while enjoying the spectacular view of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and American Falls. This is an awesome photo opportunity!

After a 1-hour lunch break, you'll take a scenic drive on Niagara Parkway. Winston Churchill famously called this "The Prettiest Sunday Afternoon Drive in the World." You'll also visit the Floral Clock, one of the most popular sights in Niagara, located between the Botanical Gardens and Queenston Heights Park. This 40-foot-wide (12-meter) working clock is one of the largest in the world. After stopping over at Queenston Heights, you'll have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs and learn about the famous Battle of Queenston Heights. Queenston Heights Park is the site of a War of 1812 battle, in which Sir Isaac Brock was killed. A 150-foot (50-meter) monument, perched above the Niagara Escarpment, was built in his honor.

After Queenston Heights, you'll visit the "Smallest Chapel in the World' and have 75 minutes to explore Niagara-on-the-Lake. Here, you'll have time to explore all of the wineries, brew pubs, quaint shops and boutiques that line Queen Street, the main drag of Niagara-on-the-Lake. You'll be treated as a wine connoisseur at Pillitteri Estates Winery, a world class winery where you'll enjoy a complimentary wine or grape juice tasting. Feel free to purchase any wines of your choice. The famous Ice Wine is also available here.

This tour ends at approximately 5 pm, and you'll be dropped off at your Toronto hotel between 7:00-7:30 pm.

That was a great tour! We skipped the huge lines at Niágara Falls and had an excellent lunch at Sheraton with a beautiful view of the falls. _br/_ We expected a smaller group but that didn't affected the quality of the tour._br/_ We recommend taking this tour that shows a lot of places besides the falls.

A good tour but in no way is 31 people a 'small group'! We arrived at the falls an hour after we were scheduled to as we spent so long picking people up. Alicia our guide was excellent and knowledgable, the falls were stunning and we got to see some other great places but the reason we booked this tour was because it was supposedly for a small group so overall disappointed and would have to consider booking via Viator more carefully in the future.

Unfortunately the weather was terrible but the spectacle of the Falls made up for this. Our tour guide was very helpful and knowledgable. There was only four of us in a high quality SUV which had plenty of room and was most comfortable. Lunch at the Sheraton was good for a buffet and the views towards the Falls was really very good. Overall very good value for money.

Excellent tour , really good with a small group. Lunch was ok at the Sheraton but would have better spent the time having a quick coffee and more time exploring. Visit to the winery was excellent. _br/_ Our guide was very pleasant, the small coach was quite shabby which was a shame.

What a great trip week organised and the falls were breath taking,I would have given it 5 stars but for 2 things the air con on the bus was a waste of time it was needed but the people at the back and right at the front never felt it,also we had to wait at a souvenir shop for over 45 minutes whilst 4 people took a helicopter ride over the falls.

This was an absolutely wonderful trip. Everything that was promised was a part of the experience. The guide and bus driver were terrific the knowledge our guide had of the area was excellent. We loved how the day was planned. The only thing that was a bit of a hassle was the hour spent picking up all the guests. It's too bad there wasn't a common meeting place with other transportation used. This had to be done when we came back to Toronto as we were running late. An SUV met the bus and took the folks staying in the city back- separate from the other passengers.

Very efficient tour guide, good driver though the very untidy bus left me feeling less than confident. The tour was well planned and fitted together without rushing. Choosing to join a small group made for an easy day at this spectacular location.

I was really impressed with our Tour Guide, Alicia. She really made this tour outstanding with her vast information and passionate feelings on the entire area. I knew that the falls were impressive, but her description and historical knowledge created an anticipation that really impressed me.

Not too much that Viator can do about it but far too many people at Niagra to make this a pleasant experience. Niagra on the Lake much better but we would have preferred stopping there longer.

A really fantastic experience and sight to see! Well worth the two hour journey from Toronto to visit. The best side to take pics of the falls is on the canadian's side!

I loved this tour perfect amount of time at Niagra. The small group made it easy to be able to get around and see as much as possible. Make sure you take advantage of the helicopter optional extra - AMAZING!!!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone!

While the tour guide and driver were good, we were 2 hours late returning because we had significant delays in the morning. I am not sure the reason, but we spent at least an hour waiting and picking up passengers in the morning. The tour should have been shortened to allow for folks to return to their hotel at a reasonable hour. The Falls and Niagara on the Lake were the main attractions, everything else should have been removed to account for all the delays during the day.

Although Niagara Fall is beautiful, the was an extremely long day. The trip was advertised as a 9.5 hour tour. We spent over 2 hours going to various hotels picking people up and over an hour dropping people off. The tour ended up being over 12 hours on an extremely warm bus. The bus was very full and the AC couldn't properly cool the bus.

Excellent tour. Excellent tour guide Melisha and the driver. Excellent tour company. Really enjoyed the tour thanks especially to Melisha. We managed to see as much as possible, spent enough time at the Niagara falls and other sites. Melisha was just outstanding and very sympathetic and friendly and gave us a good piece of Information about the sites and instructions. If there were a possibility of higher rating I would put 7 star.

Review by:   acbuy,    July 2016 Review: 1 star rating: I do not recommend this
I had selected this based on their small-group advertisement and front of the line pass so that I can spend as much time at the falls as possible without having to waste time waiting for other passengers that's usually an annoyance with big tour groups. It turned out that this was more of a commuter van more than anything as there were no guides nor narrator for the entire trip. Having return and read this tour compare to competitors, I felt I could've save the money and taken the other tour as this one not only offers you false claims but there was not even a time saving factor as driver was not on time and even had skipped out on the advertised itinerary and missed out a stop. Only an hour was spent at the falls and an hour for lunch, rest of time was driven to bogus rest area/ice cream stop to patronize their affiliated businesses/ optional helicopter ride that was additional charge which I didn't mind, but the time wasted in dropping those and picking them up/ and highway shopping stop while waiting for those on helicopter ride. A lot of wasted time which could have been spent at the falls instead. Save your money and go with another tour company!
