This fully narrated e-bike tour will take you through the old city center and the green belt of Turin, the first capital of Italy. End the tour with an amazing view over the city from a panoramic belvedere.
Turin was founded by Emperor Augustus around 28 BC, and remains of its Roman days, such as the Porte Palatine and an amphitheater, can still be admired today. Up to the 16th century Torino (the Italian name for Turin) remained a small trade town. In 1563 its fate changed as Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia decided to make it the capital of his Duchy: aristocratic palaces replaced medieval buildings, and to accommodate a growing population the town expanded beyond its ancient Roman walls.
Your tour will take you through the city's royal center to view historic palaces, squares and buildings, and thanks to our fast e-bikes and the convenient urban cycle lanes, we will also be able to reach less known places such as the River Po banks, Parco del Valentino and Borgo Medioevale (a full-size reconstruction of a medieval hamlet). End the tour in a panoramic belvedere overlooking the city.

We visited numerous sites including a park, several palaces, medieval churches, and ancient Roman ruins. Roberto explained the historical impact of each site and we learned all about the significant importance of the city to Italys proud history. Our tour ended with a wine tasting in the vineyards of Villa della Regina Queens Villa, high up on a hill overlooking the city of Turin, such an amazing view.
