The Beagle Channel, which runs through the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, is a 149-mile (240-km) passageway, home to beautiful scenery and many small islands that you'll come across on this catamaran tour from Ushuaia. After pickup from your hotel, you’ll head out on the water and sail through Ushuaia Bay, making your way into the channel. Your catamaran will weave through the islands of the Alicia Archipelago while you keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife that populates the area, like seals, sea lions and birds.
Stop at Bird Island for a photo opportunity and wildlife-spotting, and continue to Seal Island, where you'll see two species of sea lions. Then make your way over to the 74-foot (23-meter) classic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse before heading back to Ushuaia.
you do not see penguins on this tour. the boat was extremely crowded and you could not hear the information. we went on another tour the next day, and it was 4.5 hours this tour is actually only 2.5 hours and we got to see penguins and the boat is much nicer.

It was nice trip. The sea lions were so close to town. It was suprice to us. This trip was including pick up from the hotel, but it did not work out. Noone came to pick us up and it was very hard to get contact how was responsability of this tour. It is much cheaper to buy this tour from the harbour. In winter time the penguins are not around Ushuaia. That should be told before.

Very good image of Beagle Channel and interesting tour. Ushuaia is one of the most exciting view from cataraman. Profesional guide and pick-up on time._br/_
The price could be better if you have time to book on sea shore.

Good 1/2 day tour - saw cormorants / seals / the light house. Couldn't hear guide (via microphone on boat) But nice to see wildlife……….

Enjoyed this trip which gave lots of opportunities for the enthusiastic photographer. Modern catamaran with announcements as to location and wildlife and plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. A little bumpy on the return journey. Sail lasted around 3 hrs with option to disembark on island for 20 mins
