This 2-day adventure from Vancouver takes you to Whistler and the Sea to Sky region. Follow a scenic stretch of road along the seaside before climbing into the mountains, with great sightseeing stops along the way to take in the surrounding mountains, waterfalls and lakes. Once in Whistler, you have a full 24 hours to explore and take part in optional activities such as hiking, swimming, mountain biking, ziplining, bungee jumping, the famous Peak 2 Peak Gondola and more. Round-trip transport and comfortable hostel accommodation is included.
Whistler and the Sea to Sky region is an area the rivals the Canadian Rockies for scenery. It's close to Vancouver and makes for an amazing short trip away from the hustle and bustle.
Start your day with a drive though Stanley Park and onto the Lions Gate bridge. Within a few minutes, you'll be whisked up to the Cypress Mountain viewpoint for the best view of Vancouver (weather permitting). You'll stop at a small shopping plaza so you can grab a coffee and some picnic lunch supplies from the grocery store.
Then visit Shannon Falls, the third-highest waterfall in Canada. At this point, you'll have an option to join a short scenic flight over the area ($49 CAD) or you can proceed with the tour to Alice Lake to relax, swim and enjoy your picnic lunch. After lunch, reconvene with your group and continue up toward Brandywine Falls to check out another unique waterfall.
Soon, you will arrive at the HI-Whistler, a great hostel that was built to serve as athlete's accommodation for the 2010 Olympics. You'll have an included dinner there and have a full 24 hours to enjoy Whistler independently.
Explore the alpine village, where you can walk around, shop and hit the pubs and clubs. During the day, take advantage of a ton of adventure activities, including hiking, swimming, ziplining, bungee jumping, the renowned Peak 2 Peak Gondola and more. Your guide can assist you in planning your activities.
After a day enjoying Whistler, depart at 4pm and head back to Vancouver with a couple scenic stops en route. Arrive back in the city by evening.
This was a good tour and we got to do everything in the program. We had time for ourselves and the hostel near Whistler was good as well. There is a nice short hike with a suspension bridge near it. We also went bear hunting on the way back to Vancouver, and we did saw one. It was a good trip.

The tour was a lot of fun. Met a lot of great people on the trip. The only issue I had was the tour guide wasn and #39;t very good. He didn and #39;t give us times and places to meet. We also skipped the first stop.
