On this exciting 3-hour tour, travel over to Bowen Island and enjoy dinner at Doc Morgan's. Take a short walk around the Island shops before jumping back onto your tour boat for more exploring. You will have a chance to see Stanley Park, The Seal Colony, Lighthouse Park, Ocean Freighters and much more. Your tour includes your dinner and one drink.
Check in at historic Granville Island to start the tour. At this location, you can order your food and the order will be phoned into Doc Morgan's -- so that your dinner will be ready upon arrival.
You'll be equipped with survival suits, which will fit over top all dinner attire. This ensures that you can dress for dinner and not worry about dressing for the weather. Board a 30 foot, 12 seater ridged hull zodiac and leave False Creek. Your guide will give historical facts about Granville Island, the Burrard Street Bridge, Bard on the Beach, and the Eugenia Building. After leaving False Creek, the boat will speed up to 30kts or 50km/h and follow the shore line around Stanley Park, allowing you to see the park as if you were traveling around the Seawall.
The boat will take a quick stop around Siwash Rock, where you can take photos of Vancouver's most photographed natural structure. At this point, the zodiac will depart and follow the shore along North Vancouver towards Point Atkinson. From there, you'll take a short break and your guide will give more information on the park and other relevant facts.
Afterwards, continue to Bowen Island for dinner. The estimated time of arrival is 1 hour after departure. You'll have 1 hour on Bowen Island to eat at Doc Morgan's and take a walk around the Bowen Island shops. Then reboard the Zodiac to continue your tour to the seal colony.
The zodiac will depart to Spanish Banks (time permitting) and take a short detour to see the Freighters up close. Listen as your guide talks about freighters and shipping facts. Then continue along the south shore of English Bay around Jericho and Kits beach.
The tour will end as the zodiac and all the guests return to Granville Island. At this point, you'll disembark and return the survival suits.
