Capilano Suspension Bridge Admission

Vancouver, Canada

Only minutes away from downtown Vancouver, Capilano Suspension Bridge lets you experience the natural splendor of British Columbia. Breathe in the cedar-scented rainforest air as you make your way across the spectacular suspension bridge, walk through the rainforest on the Treetops Adventure and feel like a bird as you soar over the evergreens on the new Cliffwalk!

With mobile tickets, simply scan your phone for direct entry into the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.

The Capilano Suspension Bridge, Treetops Adventure and the brand new Cliffwalk are sure to make you feel closer to the stunning temperate rainforest of British Columbia. Just minutes from downtown Vancouver, you'll be able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and learn about this unique environment, while also getting a real kick of adrenalin.

The Capilano Suspension Bridge was originally built in 1889 and its 446 feet (136 meters) spans the Capilano River. A walk across this bridge is a truly unique experience.

New for 2011 is the amazing and awe-inspiring Cliffwalk. The Cliffwalk juts out from the granite cliff face above Capilano River taking guests to previously unexplored areas of the park on a series of unobtrusive cantilevered and suspended walkways. Not for the feint of heart, it is high and narrow and, in some sections, glass is all that separates you from the canyon far below.

Treetops Adventure in one of Capilano Suspension Bridge's attractions and the first venue of its kind in North America, offering a squirrel's eye view of a thriving coastal forest. Visitors venture from one magnificent Douglas fir tree to another on a series of elevated suspension bridges, some reaching as high as 100 feet (30meters) above the forest floor.

In addition to the three main activities, you can join a guided nature or history walk or explore on your own.The Living Forest area provides panels with interactive displays, fun facts and "what's that tree?" identification clues. You'll be well informed for your stroll through the rainforest, past tranquil trout ponds and majestic evergreens. Join a friendly eco guide for a complimentary 20 to 30 minute tour of Capilano Suspension Bridge's West Coast rainforest and discover the mysteries of an old growth forest and its life cycle; learn about the flora and fauna found in our ecosystem; and identify various trees and plant life unique to Vancouver, Canada.

Amazing experience! The wooden suspense bridges through the trees were lovely and we had the added bonus of seeing some of the Christmas decorations being mostly put up. The Suspension Bridge was lovely and felt safe the whole time. Definitely recommend this if you're passing through!

In the summer lines are long and you feel rushed. But apart from that the trip was worthwhile and enjoyable.

The bridges were pretty cool, but it's priced a little high for something that takes about an hour to walk through. I would recommend you plan on getting there at opening. We got there with hardly anyone else in the park, and when we left an hour later, it was an absolute zoo.

This was a great activity and we really enjoyed our time here. Be sure to do all the different activities. One of our favorites was the treetop adventures.

I'm from the US midwest. An adult son and I went to Vancouver to fish and ride the Sky Train. Then I learned about the Capilano Bridge and found a free ride there I was staying down by the Kid's Science Center. The park and bridge were well worth the time, and they have a good coffee bar and food too. I'm a country boy, so I'm used to nature, but for a city kid, this would be like a trip to a national park. It has the bridge plus the surrounding ecosystem. Also, it's time efficient 1/2 to 3/4 of a day will see the sights there.Glad we went

The bridge, tree top experience and park was awesome. We learned so much from the shuttle driver on our trip out too! My 11 year old had a blast and we are still in awe of the nature and the bridge!

Well worth a visit. Beautiful setting and the views are spectacular. Not only is the suspension bridge included in the price, you can also do the cliff top and the tree tops walk. The bus picks you up from a number of locations in Vancouver depending on where you are staying. Go early in the morning to beat the crowds and the queues.

Loved the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Awesome Views and Worth It. Free Shuttle from Downtown Vancouver was Concenient. Although It Was Raining, It Was Still Worth It. The Park Also Gave Free Ponchos Which Was Great.

Excellent. If you have the chance to go take it. We took the free shuttle from Canada Pkace and had a really informative and funny driver who told us all about the city and Stanley Park as we passed through. _br/_ There was a bit of a queue when we got to Capilano as our ticket was an ethic jet and didn't scan but had to be printed out. After that we stamped our guide and set off. I do not like heights much but was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the experience. Quite stable with only some swaying. Going across I held on all the way but coming back I was able to just walk over - no hands! We then went in the boardwalk at treetop level which was lovely and cool. There were plenty of viewing platforms for photos. We saw some Douglas squirrels. On the other side of the ravine we undertook the cliffwalk which was tremendous, hanging off the cliff but felt secure. Wonderful views. At the end it meandered through woods back to the Trading Post. Food here is expensive so if you can make do on a packet of crisps and a bottle of water as we did, that's fine!_br/_ The shuttle took us back and we got off at another stop in town as we wanted to explore this part. _br/_ A good day with lots of walking.

This was one of the highlights of our Canadian visit. There are free bus shuttles from Downtown to this centre and back and made this value for money

Absolutely wonderful! Our family of 5 three children under 7 really enjoyed it. Lots to do for everyone and such great views! It was easy to find the free shuttle and everything was great.

We enjoyed the stay at the bridge. It was beautiful. We felt rushed because of the crowd that was there. Quite expensive for the amount of time at the bridge, and also had to pay to park. Many shuttles bringing in people from downtown Vancouver areas as well as cruise ships. Nice gift shop and snack area but not enough seats.

great place to visit, just extremely crowded during the first week of August

This tour is awesome, and really pretty in the wintertime with all the fairy lights. The scenery is beautiful, with 3 different vantage points from the bridge, treetops and cliff walk...all of which are very easy for young and old alike. It is also a very short drive 10 mins from North Vancouver._br/_ The one important factor i really stress is that although the viator website states that one does not need to print out online-purchased tickets...YOU DO !! The website states that a copy of the ticket invoice may be shown on an iPhone or other device, but the admission_br/_ reception will not accept this, which is particularly annoying when on holiday without computer/email access. Luckily we had a teenager with us who could retrieve the ticket and email it on the spot to the reception to be printed out which, strangely..it never actually was!. Not sure if this is an issue that Viator or the reception at Capilano need to address, but it indeed needs to be addressed to avoid inconvenience and confusion.

It was one of my favorite things about my trip. I do reccommend if you do cross the bridge you go when there aren't a lot of people. The bridge is a bit swingy when there are a lot on the bridge at the same time. Once you cross the bridge, there are nature walks to enjoy on the other side and throughout the park. The whole thing was beautiful and easy to get to with the free shuttle. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars

This was even much better than we expected. The Treetops and Cliffwalk are wonderful additions to the experience than just going over the bridge. It was well worth the time and money!

The suspension bridge was fun for our 4,6,and 8 year olds. What they enjoyed most was the tree top walk. From previous reviews I understand there is another suspension bridge close by that does not require an admission fee. That might be good for something more quite that might require less time. Our kids enjoyed the tree walk which made this one worth it for us even if it was a bit more crowded.

Experience was good. Sights worth it. Recommend you book this and Grouse Mountain separately and travel by bus from Vancouver using the free bus to Capilano and then public transport to Griuse Mountain and back to Vancouverand. It gives you all day to have leisurely viewings. Book in advance to avoid queues
